Just moved in the area and decided to try this place with the fam. Great little family owned spot with interesting hot dog concoctions. Had the super dog which was great. Will come back to try other things on the menu.

This is a great hotdog hamburger joint. The owners are so awesome, and are always happy to see us. Service and food is always top notch. They will go out of their way to make sure you dining experience is a good one. Make this one of your regular eateries, and support a family business.

I love the hot dogs, sausages, and burgers. I went therr all the time. My only gripe is there delivery. They pop up on all the food delivery apps i use. I put order in to find out they dont deliver outside 3 miles. Wut good is that when u have no car, an über ride may run u $ 10 plus the food. My only other option is to take 2 to 3 busses just for food. Im good on that. And when i ordered from them my orders have all been $ 30-$ 40 cuz i cant just pick couple things i always end up with leftovers. Guess yall dont want the business.

I came here when they first opened and I couldn’t remember if I liked it or not. So, we came back. I didn’t like it. I ordered the LA street dog which was a regular vienna sausage covered in bacon, with bell peppers onions and garlic. It was okay. The dog felt a little overdone and was way too spicy when we bit into it. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable and certainly not worth the price. The bun had no flavor and didn’t add much to the experience. My boyfriend got the mac and cheese dog. It came slathered in what looked like microwaved mac and cheese with not so delicious cheese goop all over. Again, not terrible but didn’t blow my mind at all. Not sure I’d come back.

What in the what??? This joint has 4 stars? I will start by saying I used the eat 24 app with delivery to get my order. That was fine, except it took 1 hour and 10 minutes from the time I ordered to receive the food.(I’m an 8 minute drive away I just couldn’t leave work) I’m sure if I drove there it wouldn’t take an hour to get the food so not sure what the extra time is for. The food arrived and all looked really good! I was excited to try this place out! I popped a tot in and ohhhhmmmyyyyyygooooodddd. Next time I will ask for some tater with my salt tots. These little salt monsters are ridiculous. Sometimes you get fries with too much salt and it’s kinda bearable, but this was just too much. I tried drowning the little guys with ketchup to mask the salt but nope, it burned right through to my tongue. Yuck. The dog looked so good with the macaroni and bacon bits. It was decent. The dog itself was a little rubbery, and I could have made better mac n cheese at home. Hmm didn’t taste bad, but I would have enjoyed a Wiener schnitzel dog much better. The corn was cooked right. But that was it, a grilled corn for $ 3. No toppings, no flavor, nothing in the bag to put on top, what is this, healthy??? I do have to say, the can of coke was the best thing here! So thanks for that. Will not be getting slaw dogs again.

I couldn’t bring myself to order a slaw dog at Slaw Dogs. Instead, I picked the most outrageous thing on the menu — the«TNT Super Dog». It had so many ingredients, it came in tortilla and aluminum foil instead of a hot dog bun. The two thin dogs were average, the pastrami was like biting into bacon, the fries remained surprisingly crunchy when mashed with the other moist ingredients, and the fried egg, cheese, and grilled onions rounded out the flavors, but the chili had a harshness which tarnished the experience. The Chicago dog matched the traditional flavor profile by using every classic ingredient — right down to the long pickle, sport peppers, and poppy seed bun. Less mustard would have made it better. The menu says they use«Vienna beef» dogs. What the heck is a «Vienna beef» wiener? It connotes those tiny fingerling-sized sausages that come in a can that only a child would like. After some research, Vienna Beef is a brand name of a dog. That shows how much I know about mass produced food. Probably better for the business to keep that a secret.

I think best way to describe this place as many reviews before this one as a Korean Dog Haus. This place is located in a weird looking plaza. To enter a parking lot, you must go through a interesting arch. Inside there is a TV and plenty of seating. The times that I’ve been here it has not been busy. The menu display is pretty big and explains what is in each item. I’ve tried a couple of things here: the LA Street Dog, Sunday Morning Burger, and the TNT Super Dog. The LA Street Dog basically says it all, it tastes just like a LA street dog as if you were getting it at 2:30 in the morning after leaving a bar/club. The Sunday Morning Burger was pretty good as well. One gripe was that it does not come with cheese, which had me surprised. The patty was juicy and flavorful and the portion size was pretty good. The TNT Super Dog is what you must get. The portions on this Dog is pretty big. If you are not hungry, be prepared to save it for later. There is a lot of things going on with this item and it all goes together. If you’re really hungry I really suggest adding the fried egg. The Belgian fries are pretty good and solid. The service here is very good. They are kind and courteous and even told us to leave our plates there and they will clean it up for you. Overall, I’ve enjoyed eating here the few times that I’ve been here, and I definitely recommend it to those looking for a unhealthy bite to eat!

What if… Dog Haus was run by a Korean family? Well, you would have something better and more charming! And that is Slaw Dogs! Not only that, but they offer ghost pepper sausage. Yes. They understand my need for oral burning. They are always nice and their tator tots are always golden crispy. Try the C4: D

Love everything thing on the menu. From old fashion city digs to unique creations, they have many things that you are in the mood for. Korean bowls and other fusion options are also available. They also have a good drink selection. Old fashion soda pops, wines and beers are available at your reach. Check in on Unilocal for a free offer is a bonus on how awesome this place is.

It’s like Dog Haus but smaller, fewer menu options, less food, more expensive, lesser service, no craft beers. Granted, it is a much smaller operation and there’s literally two people working at any given time. Expect each member of your party to receive food at separate times. The kimchi fries are good in theory(kimchi+cheese+carbs = potential mouthgasm), but here, they’re really really salty. The parking situation for this strip of shops is hit or miss. If the little lot through the archway is full, you’re out of luck.

This trip to Slaw Dogs included my wife who is a fan of Dog Haus. Ilike Dog Haus, but having grow up on Kings Hawaiian bread I can only eat so much of the stuff. We’d ordered the Traditional and Chicago Dog with tater tots. Just like the first trip, the Chicago Dog was spot on and my wife liked her Chili Dog, but the natural casing on the dog was something she didn’t expect. Hot dogs with natural casing has a «snap» when you take a bite into it. All good! We’ll definitely be back!

First time here and I didn’t expect much from a hot dog spot but it was surprisingly really good. My Green Monster was on point, onions grilled to perfection and the melted pepper jack cheese looked like a fried egg… kudos on the melting. Tater tots were delicious… crisp & tasty, not those greasy ones from middle school cafeteria. Also tried the chili cheese fries and the chili had a nice depth in flavor. Their condiment section is nicely organized too. Friendly service with a quaint atmosphere. I came during lunch and not crowded.

Things that are a must try! The O.G. Thai Slaw Dog, Truffle, Parmesan, Garlic Fries, Kimchi Sweet Potato Fries Our group was definitely pleased with the quality of the fries. We had a «fry party» here as you would say. I was not too happy with their Picnic Dog with its tasteless potato salad filling and not crunchy onion rings. Overall it’s a cool place to grab some hot dog fusion food if you’re craving something more Asian and Doghaus is just not an option. I’m still more of a Doghaus fan when it comes to sprucing up the common hot dog.

Reasonably priced and quick delivery! That Guy I Married and I order delivery from Slaw Dogs about once a week. We have tried almost every single hot dog and all of the sides. I don’t even like hot dogs, but these are fancy pants dogs with interesting flavor combinations that are neither too fussy nor too simple. My favorite is the Thai Slaw Dog. Love the salad that comes on it and the spicy chicken sausage. The classic dog– with chili and cheese– is pretty good too. I always get the chicken salad and That Guy always gets tater tots. We’ve never been disappointed, the delivery is quick and somehow the food is still fresh by the time we get it. Well done!

I ordered the traditional slaw dog which comes with chili and cheese. For over $ 5, I got something that tastes almost exactly like a chili cheese dog from Wienerschnitzel. It’s not even close to Dog Haus in terms of variety or taste. Service is friendly and the restaurant itself looks pretty trendy.

We ordered the traditional dog w/coleslaw and TNT dog and the hotdogs were soggy, salty and low quality overall. No snap in the dog and no flavors worth enjoying. Never coming back to this location. Not even sure if ill even go to back to the duarte location knowing the quality of this location.

Have you ever gone to a restaurant because you saw a pic of an adorable cat on their IG page telling you to go there? No? Psh. I mean, right? Who does that? Crazy cat people. *ehem* Anyway, parking is at the back so if you’re heading north on Lake, turn right at the entrance right after 7 – 11. Its pretty easy to miss so just turn your blinkers after the light and coast for about 3 seconds till you see it. Reuben Dog with sweet potato fries(3.5 stars) — this is a pretty hearty combo meal IMO. Sandwich comes with pastrami, spicy polish dog and sauerkraut. The pastrami was a bit too salty for me but it wasn’t anything a little bit of mustard can’t fix. Sweet potato fries were good, too. LA street dog(5 stars) — now this is what I call the perfect hotdog. Everything was perfect, from the dawg to the toppings. I would definitely go back for this. Brick ice cream macaron — its locked in their small refrigerator so don’t try to force it open, y’all! Pay first($ 3.50) then they’ll get it for you. ***** Their check in offer is NOT really for a free drink with your purchase. It is a buy one get one free deal. They have a couple more dishes I am looking forward to try so I’ll definitely be back. And this time not just because of a cute IG cat pic.

This place is not easy to spot, nor is trying to find parking. There is a really small lot in the back but some spaces are too small to park in and it gets filled on weekends. If you can’t find parking in the small lot, you can find street parking if you’re lucky. I’m going to compare this place to dog haus because it’s another hot dog restaurant and they’re both very similar. Dog haus’ menu is way bigger and has more variety & selection. I got the build your own veggie dog with mushrooms, spicy sesame aioli sauce, truffle oil, and pepper jack cheese. It’s not even close to being as delicious as dog haus. Dog haus’ veggie sausages are huge with a ton of flavoring that actually have stuff inside the sausage. Slaw dogs veggie dogs are the veggies dogs that I buy at the supermarket in the vegetarian aisle. I could have made it at home myself. The cheese was not melted, I could barely taste the truffle oil, and the spicy sesame aioli didn’t taste spicy or like sesame, I barely even noticed it in there. Dog haus also uses Hawaiian bread so their dogs have more of a delicious sweet taste to it. Slaw dogs just uses regular bread so there wasn’t much taste to it. Their tater tots on the other hand… Amazing!!! Way better than dog haus’. I got the Garlic truffle oil Parmesan tater tots(it’s a dollar extra for tots because it’s originally with French fries). The tots had tons of garlic parmesan sprinkled on top, it wasn’t melted but it was still yummy. I could definitely taste the truffle oil and it wasn’t too overpowering. You should def try this if you go! My boyfriend got the traditional hot dog which comes with chili, cheese and onions. He said it was okay but dog haus is still better. Service is good, no complaints there! The total for all 3 things was about $ 23. Probably won’t come back again. The size of their dogs are pretty small, so coming back for the tots isn’t worth it. But props for having a vegetarian section and truffle oil!
