It’s a very convenient store, but the service and prices are too much. I understand it’s in Pasadena in the heart of the business area but cmon now I can get a liter of water at 711 for $ 1 and here it’s almost $ 4. The lady or owner is rude, depending who you are. She ups her prices all the time. Def won’t go back here and I go to the school right across from it. I rather walk 2 blocks to target and save some money.

I normally don’t take the time to write reviews but under these circumstances I feel compelled to make the public aware of how greed effects us the consumers. Our Cosmo school just moved right across this small convenient store about three weeks ago and we have noticed that this owner has been taken advantage of us students by continuously hiking up the prices. After addressing her on our findings she knots her head and says…“I know, we need to hike up the prices because of all the businesses”. I explained to her that she will be losing business because of this. But she did not seem to care.

The lady here is incredibly determined to be my friend because, like her, I am Korean. I used to love going downstairs(I work in the towers) to buy Lotto tickets, but I stopped because I don’t like all the questions. Here are a list of questions I’ve been asked: «Are you Korean?» «Are you married?» «What church do you go to?» «What college did you go to?» «Where do your parents live?» «What did you study in college?» «What company do you work for?» «What do you do?» «Do you have a girlfriend?» «How old are you?» «Do you want to meet my niece?» «Can you call the number on this piece of paper and help me renew my business license?» No, I’m not joking. She has asked me every one of these questions.

This an average little convenient store, lottery place that also served breakfast and lunch items. I tried the breakfast burrito and it is alright, nothing to write him about and fairly flat, like a crêpe and not round and stuffed like a burrito. The owners are ever preset and seem to know the regular customers by name.

i love this little store! i walk through the china airlines building and it’s to the right when you get out. they have everything including the amazingly friendly korean women behind the counter! i bought my lottery tickets here(only place within blocks that have them!). also you can grab a delicious bite to eat when you are doing some lunching. the burgers looked yummy! and they have specials every day. tuesdays are spaghetti and meatballs with a side of garlic bread for like 7 bucks which is a pretty good deal! their breakfast burritos are amazing! i usually get the bacon/egg and it’s large and in charge! if i keep eating them so will i! it’s pretty damn good. they even put the tortilla with all the fillings on the grill. after a workout, this is the perfect thing to eat. holds me over till lunch when all i want to do is head back for more food!

I love this place. It’s not easy to find. It’s in the courtyard of the building on the northwest corner of Green and Lake. Either walk through the building near the China Airlines and get to the courtyard, or go up the long lane to the parking garage that is just north of the building. There’s a gate that you can walk around. They make an AWESOME mini-breakfast burrito. It’s $ 3.50 with coffee! They have a bigger burrito, but the«mini» one is a totally reasonable size. The Korean woman(Kim) that owns it is so sweet. They have a different lunch special every day. I forget what they all are. I think it’s: Monday — Chicken Curry with Rice Tuesday — Chicken & Mushrooms or Hamburger Combo(Tues/Wed specials) Wednesday — Chicken & Mushrooms or Hamburger Combo(Tues/Wed specials) Thursday — Bibimbap — this one I’m SURE of because I try to go every Thursday that I remember. I think it’s $ 7 — $ 8 and SERIOUSLY tasty. YUM. Friday — Hamburger Combo My favorites are the breakfast burrito and bibimbap. It’s the only reasonably priced Korean food you can get in Pasadena! My friend got the salad once and it looked really fresh, I just haven’t tried it. She also sells sodas, fruit, lottery tickets, aspirin, greeting cards and many other things. I would highly recommend. I often order while I’m driving in to work and then park out on Lake, run in and pick it up!

Yuuuuum! I just ate the best breakfast burrito, ever. It was a $ 3.99 burrito that comes w/eggs, cheese, and meat(I selected sausage for my meat). I added Avocado’s for 75 cents and that made the deal! Fresh, ripe green avocado slices mixed in with thinly sliced breakfast sausage and melted cheddar cheese and eggs. YUM! And it wasn’t overpowering like most breakfast burritos, where you want to die from the pain of fullness cause of the size, or end up wasting half of it. Don’t get me wrong, this burrito was not small, but I was able to put it down, feeling only slightly overstuffed right now. Everything else in the store(that’s not homemade) is just like your average gas station stop, w/candy and cold drinks in the fridge. I usually don’t buy any of that unless I’m really craving something specifically. Like the other reviewer said, you’re not accidentally going to come across this shop from the street. You have to have a reason to be hanging out in the Pasadena Towers to even see it. Lucky for me, I work right here. I just need to be careful not to order that burrito to often, or I’ll never go out for lunch.

This place is a lifesaver! It’s a small little store located in a plaza of two office buildings and the Chase Bank. It’s definitely not noticable from the street, but if you walk past the fountain and down the stairs, it’ll be right there! Cute Korean lady and her friend are always there to greet you with smiles. The store has improved a lot since when I first started my job, which makes me really proud and keeps me a loyal customer. They have all essential snacks and a nice selection of beverages, but the main attraction is her food! She offers bagels, breakfast burritos(delicious), sandwiches, and lunch specials that are all very very reasonable and taste really good! She is definitely a favorite of my coworkers! Oh, and you can use your card with a minimum $ 5 purchase. :)
