When you pass by World Caravan, you’ll most likely assume that it’s an overpriced cross between Pier One and World Market that isn’t worth checking out. That was my initial impression. I wandered in, figuring a little bit of browsing couldn’t hurt, and was pleasantly surprised with how great the place was.
World Market is a pretty close comparison, as a lot of the stuff has a similar, worldly vibe. However, the big surprise to me was that the prices were actually pretty dang reasonable and the merchandise didn’t have that same «chain store» feel like the stuff that you find at World Market often comes with. Everything felt a little more special; a little more one-​of-​a-​kind-​ie.
The gentleman working as friendly without hovering over me. He allowed me to wander about the space without feeling as if I was being stared at the entire time, which I greatly appreciated.
Definitely looking forward to coming back here when I’m ready to do a little more home decorating.
