I agree with the people who say these are a treat and not something to buy on a regular basis. They are delicious but way too expensive.

Cookies are great, absolutely delicious. But… The price is what’s crazy. I’ll go back, but not regularly. These are gourmet treats.

I love shortbread cookies and the crumbly butter texture they have. Hubby does not. Therefore, we ended up with a bag of their honey cookies, which I think the lady said was a special item on the weekends. I sampled the original, and wished I’d purchased that one because the honey cookies were just too chewy for me and my jaw hurt so badly that I could only manage one cookie. The flavor was nice, and I appreciated the little bit of salt to counterbalance the sweetness. However, my overall impression is that these cookies are too overpriced for what you get. They’re not bad, by any means, just not worth the money IMO.

LOVE the cookies here. Tried the Coconut Lime for the first time this trip and it was AMAZING. I’m usually a lemon loyalist. I had been raving about these cookies forever and my husband was finally able to try some. Turned out he loved the almond and original flavors. Keep it up :)

My oh my oh my oh my!!! Best cookies I have ever eaten. The sweet with salty mixture in these delicious butter cookies gives me a total foodgasam!!! Cocoa, Citrus, Espresso, classic and my all time favorite Almond just to name some of the flavors.

Came across this store while driving back from Monterey to LA and had to stop by. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the smell of freshly baked cookies and a very friendly and personable staff. Yes the cookies are a bit pricey but the cookies taste amazing and are beautifully packaged. Quality over quantity. Definitely worth the stop!

Best cookies ever! Great helpful staff, too. Love all the other things they sell in the store besides… t-shirts, canvas bags, etc. All with their logo. Their goodies make such great gifts when you want to splurge a little.

We found this place while checking out Paso as a place to live and establish our B&B. I’ve taken guests here and without an exception the guests we take buy cookies. The cookies are unique in size, flavor, and recipe. My favorite is the lemon.

Overrated and overpriced. I am not usually one to complain about price, but $ 7.99 for a bag of 6 ridiculously small cookies is absurd(seriously, they are about the size of a half-dollar). There is really no price savings for getting the bigger bags or flavor combos either. The cookies are tasty and the salt adds a great pop of flavor, but knowing how easy shortbread is to make, I can’t say I’ll be back here anytime soon.

So very delicious and really dangerous :) I love that you can taste all of the flavors right in the store. They’re all absolutely great, but my favorite remains the original, the almond one and the chocolate one :) Can’t wait to return to Paso for more cookies :)

Delicious shortbread cookies that are crisp yet melt in your mouth. They offer both regular and gluten free. I must say the gluten free is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. I really could not tell the difference between the two. My favorite of the many were the Original and the Expresso cookies. Excellent customer service and they allow you to sample the various flavors. A bit pricey for the amount of cookies you get, but for a special treat it is worth the splurge for these Brown Butter Cookies.

Holy cow. Hands down best cookies I’ve ever eaten. We were those jerk that come in at 6:58 when they close at 7pm, but they were kind enough to not mind, give samples, and be patient with our first visit. I got the gluten free lemon poppy and my SO got the original. We both loved ours. Perfect moistness, not too sweet, and melts in your mouth deliciousness. If they were still open right now I’d go back for more.

Great cookies for Gluten intolerant folks! I personally like Brown Butter Cookies because they are not too sweet. Upon entering the store, you are greeted by a wonderful store front and friendly staff. Samples are available and you can try the many variety of flavors. The first time I bit into the Lemon Poppyseed cookie there was no turning back. The cookies are a bit crumbly but that does not bother me. The best part was I could taste the lemon zest in every bite. Bravo! These tiny morsels are a bit pricy for the quantity. Savor each bite.

I want to like this place, but I found all of the cookies a bit too dry. You’re definitely going to need to enjoy these cookies along with some milk or at least water. The salted caramel cookies were also a bit TOO salty for my taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I liked where they were going with everything, I just wish the cookies were a tad more moist.

The store name itself was enough to convince me that this place had something wonderful to offer. I love their original and almond flavored cookies. But my favorite is their ‘Granola’. They’re packed in 1lb bags, which I could easily consune in one seating, if not for the concern of the extra calorie intake. Each bag is filled with crunchy, nutty and aromatic pieces of roasted rolled past with pecan, coconut, raisins, almonds. Every bite is an explosion of honey roasted flavor complemented by the aromatic flavor of the oats, nuts and coconut. I usually don’t buy anything with raisins on it. Cause I hate raisins! But I am glad that this granola mix changed my impression of raisins. Mind you, these were green raisins and not the black(dark purple ones).

A pleasant salty lingering flavor and an exponentially high price is what sets these cookies apart. You can come in and sample as many different flavors of cookies as you’d like in this beautiful and spacious shop but stopping in and doing so may guilt you into buying meh, overpriced cookies.

Wow these cookies are amazing! We were walking around the area and when I saw the storefront I dragged my entire family inside. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly faces of the workers and the fact that we could try ALL of the cookie flavors! They were all pretty good, but I liked their basic brown butter sea salt cookie the best. We took a few home with us but they didn’t last long on the car ride home. Only downside is the cost, they end up being a few dollars per cookie, but definitely worth trying and would make a cute and tasty gift!

We stopped in on our drive from Santa Barbara to Fresno so that we could grab our favorite cookies(the cookies we had shipped in for our wedding reception). They were out of the Honey flavor, my husbands favorite(apparently they’re only selling them on Friday’s now– good to know for future reference) but we were able to get some of the original and cocoa flavors(the cocoa are my personal favorite). The service wasnt overly impressive, but we wernt in the store for very long either. Just seemed like we had to flag the girls behind the counter down in order to ask about the honey cookies and to pay for the few bags we had in our hand. The Cayucos location has a much friendlier vibe. The cookies themselves were delicious, as always.

These cookies are the BEST!!! This is a good addition to the square in Paso for sure since these cookies were only found in their first store in the coastal town of Cayucos. These are not huge cookies… if they were you and your scale would soon be regretting it. They are not cheap at a dollar a piece for the half dollar round size cookies, but once you taste them you will know they are worth it. They have a good variety and not too sweet… personal favorite is the original with sea salt… YUM! Go once and guarantee you will go back again.
