Dined here in late February 2016. Like many other reviewers, I had very positive experiences here in the past while working and living in Paso Robles. My memories were strong enough to want to come here over a very fancy breakfast in our hotel, the newly opened Allegretto. I was disappointed by our order, the service, and the attitudes of the servers. It took them 20 minutes to bring the latte we ordered. They charged me $ 3 extra for switching to breakfast potatoes instead of hashbrowns. The Hollandaise sauce on my Benedict was not fresh or homemade. And the English muffins, as mentioned by another reviewer, were spongy and weird. I would not return due to the attitudes of the wait staff, who were surly and rude.

I moved to Paso about 3 months ago and was delighted to find Panolivo’s. The last 2 times I went for breakfast I had problems with my food. 1st time was a quiche that was runny and the 2nd was cold bacon. Send both back and they were fixed. But a runny quiche? Why would it even be served? Not sure I will be back.

Unfortunately, we had a very unsatisfactory dinner at Panolivo tonight, and it wasn’t the first time. The food was not good and extremely overpriced. The portions were very small compared to what they charge, which isn’t something I usually care about but it was that obvious. The kids meals especially are ridiculously priced for what you receive. $ 6.85 for a mini cheeseburger(a VERY small-sized burger, think slider size), that does not include fries or a drink. $ 5.99 for a small piece of pita bread with melted cheese. Drinks were an additional $ 1.75. The Caesar salad tasted fine but was a ridiculous $ 9.20 for a very small portion. I sent my cup of French onion soup back because it wasn’t even hot and the cheese was not melted. The calamari appetizer was overly chewy and stale tasting and not even close to the quality it should have been at $ 11.50. The ladies who served us were quite nice and handled the issues gracefully. The server removed the soup from my bill. She even told me not to tip her which of course I still did — it wasn’t a service issue, but a kitchen and management issue. I still can’t believe I spent $ 58(that includes an $ 8 tip) on limited food for one adult and two children that didn’t taste good. I didn’t even order a full meal, only a small salad and appetizer. One positive in addition to the service — my glass of rosé was quite nice! We’ve dined here numerous times over the last ten years, but the food and management have steadily declined in the last few years. I may still order their delicious quiches to go? But I won’t be returning for a sit down meal. I feel they need to change their name from a Family Bistro because their prices are not at all family friendly.

We frequent Paso Robles from time to time and enjoy our old favorites and trying new places. Panolivo was a new one for breakfast. The gluten-free menu looked promising. Hubble enjoyed his bacon and eggs and GF toast. I enjoyed their Eggs Benedict except for the odd tasting gooey GF muffin. Neither of us liked the hash browns, possibly a reflection of the oil used. Duck fat would have been divine! The ambience was good and the staff very attentive. We’ll be back.

The only reason it gets a 2 star instead of 1 is because jaffas place inside was good! with the kids meal was ridiculous!! my daughter had a hamburger which totaled $ 10. The burger was literally smaller than The top of a kids cup lid. We got gyros from jaffas inside but a total of two and a kid $ 48 and change for lunch never again

Party of 3. 2 adults 1 teen. The Breakfast burrito with Chorizo was lite and delicious. The size of the burrito was good not to big and not small. The breakfast sanwich was very tasty good size sandwich for breakfast. Unfortunately my son ordered the house yogurt with honey and Raspberry on the side. He did not care for it to me it tasted like Sour Cream. Overall good breakfast.

Visited the area over winter break and found this out-of-the way gem. The staff was very welcoming and wonderfully knowledgeable and informative as they guided us through the tasting of their flavorful oils, spices and balsamic vinegars. We left loaded down with purchases and a new membership with their company. One of our trip highlights!

This place was recommended to us from a local while visiting Paso Robles for the weekend. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, eggs benedict, juice + coffees for brunch and the food was unbelievably good — everything was extremely fresh, including the freshly baked bread. Our server was awesome as well. Highly recommend this spot!

Most internationally confused restaurant I’ve ever been to, half of the venue was dedicated to «french» food with the other half being a Mediterranean café. Service was amicable but slow, food was forgettable, and strangely the music of choice was a Korean spotify playlist.

This place is okay just don’t expect large portions and just be satisfied with 7 ravioli for 17 $

A friend and I had a subpar experience here this morning. We made a reservation after checking out trip advisor. 9:00 am on Sunday to avoid heavy crowds. I have a feeling this place doesn’t get full gear until 10ish. We waited a couple minutes to be acknowledged for seating. We then waited another 5 – 10 minutes to be acknowledged by our waitress. Only two waitresses for the whole restauarunt but it wasn’t slammed. I ordered the breakfast plate(eggs, toast, bacon, and hashbrowns) and my friend ordered the special breakfast burrito. When we got our food we could tell that whoever was on potato duty was not quite at full gear yet. My hashbrowns came out white with only two brown spots. The hash browns in my friends burrito were similarly undercooked. I sent my hash browns back to be redone. They brought me a second order which were burnt but still better than the undercooked ones. Tables around us were definitely antsy with the wait for the food and service. The owners were on hand and took care of the hash browns for me, but seemed to be doing a lot of cleaning and table setting which I would see a waiter or busboy doing normally. I have a feeling it’s better for lunch and dinner or when it gets slightly later in the morning and the staff has warmed up a bit. The menu was varied and had lots of good options. My friend said the burrito was good besides the hash browns. My eggs and bacon were good.

I came here for their gluten free menu. We came for breakfast and with all the gluten free pancake and bread options out there I was hoping for some of those options. I was disappointed to see that there was nothing like that. I mean come on! Basically eggs and one lets and bacon and stuff like that. I could get that anywhere. They only had gluten free toast and English muffins.(which would have been easy to at least add French toast to the menu). I got the egg Benedict with the gf English muffin. I was not impressed at all. It was slightly on the cold side and very bland. The hash browns we very plain too and cold. I had to salt and pepper and drowned the potatoes in ketchup, which made them even more cold. I will probably go back and hope to try their gf lunch… But not keeping my hopes up. Won’t go back for breakfast that’s for sure.

Bear with me… Went to try Nosh for breakfast(it’s across the street from Panolivo). Warning: do not go to Nosh unless you are looking for non-existing service.(Read Unilocal review of Nosh) So we went to Panolivo. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs benedict… the hollandaise sauce is the best I’ve ever had… and I make my own. Also, the quiche was pronounced«best ever». Service was great; friendly, professional, attentive. Ambience is much more conducive to brunch. The owner stopped by the table to make sure everything was good. We’ll be back to Panolivo. –Jim PS We actually saw people going into Nosh and then coming out to come over to Panolivo! PPS We’re locals.

Sausage is so good and very unique here, bacon was really crispy, salsas were amazing, coffee was on point, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxed Saturday morning! There was a lot of reviews about the lemon tart but u preferred the almond raspberry — so good!!!

We originally planned to eat at Artisan, but they weren’t open until 10am. We decided to walk around and noticed the cute little diner on the corner. The outside seating seemed like a perfect place to have coffee and breakfast. The staff was friendly and the coffee here is awesome! I don’t understand some of the reviews I read about this place. The food has plenty of flavor, smoked bacon, Italian sausage, and salsa variations to go with it. The prices are accommodating as well. Half the price of our spot we originally planned on. Get the coffee a quiche or breakfast burrito and enjoy the air.

Stopped in for lunch. Popular Place! We were seated and had menus before I could wash my hands and come back! The grilled chicken panini and minestrone was just right. Thanks for the quick and tasty lunch

Totally disgusting and flavorless. My «bruschetta» was served with old bread that was gluten free with absolutely NOFLAVOR. My boyfriend ordered pasta with chicken that looked and smelled worse than a school cafeteria. The customers were having dinner at 3 pm on their way back to the nursing home. I’m sick to my stomach just looking at this restaurant.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant on a whim. I checked the Unilocal reviews and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Ham and cheese quiche and a side of sweet potato fries. The quiche was pretty good and the portion was good but it was about 6 on a scale of 1 – 10 for me. The sweet potato fries were good but for 4.95 the portion was small. My husband ordered the shrimp pasta. He said it tasted very good but for $ 20 the portion was pretty small. Overall we will probably not eat here again. On another note. .the service was great and the employees were excellent.
