Nice little place. Took my dad here for lunch to celebrate his new job. We both had the Chicken Shawarma wraps. Never had Shawarma before, but the name sounded funny and I love trying strange foods so, why not? Turns out… great idea! Shawarma is delicious! The spices were a little sweet, but savory as well, and the garlic tehineh sauce really topped it off. Will be back for sure!

At First I didn’t know what to think… An Italian/Mediterranean place with a salsa bar!!! But the food was delicious! We got the Chicken Kabobs & falafel combo and they were both great. The Baklava was also yummy! Great little find.

3.5 stars. Nice veggie grill wrap, good minestrone soup. We stopped here on our road trip. You have a sit down area and also a order over– the counter, in case you are in a hurry.

The best pita I think I’ve ever had thanks to the garlic sauce it comes with! To die for. We got the chicken pita wrap and falafel combo plate. All very good! We got the food to go and they were very fast. It is kind of weird the way they are combined with the other restaurant Panolivo and they have a small seating area. But if you love Mediterranean/Greek food then you will love the food.

The food was very good. Everything we ordered was so tasty! Pita with garlic sauce is always a classic for me, I was smiling while eating it. This is a good place for vegetarians to eat. We also ordered desserts and they were all wonderful! If I’m ever in town again I will make sure to stop in again!

Good food. You get more when you eat in the restaurant. Shocked at the tiny piece of baklava I got for $ 2.50; Thought an order would be enough for two people but barely satisfies one

It’s a little pricey, but every bite is well worth it. It’s very seldom you come across a restaurant with great service and a meal that keeps bringing you back for more. It’s evident the chef cares about the customers. Fresh ingredients; and every plate is made with much thought and consideration!

We stopped here as we were driving up the coast. It was awesomeness — will definitely stop here again on a road trip. Town was cute & everyone seemed friendly. Staff was sweet & helpful. Total win!

First time here, I RARELY write reviews on Unilocal — but the service alone was enough to make me wanna write about it here! I’m not too big on mediterranean food, so if you like it I’m sure you’ll love the food. My favorite was the baklava — HOWEVER this review is for the sweet gentleman who welcomed us, made us feel comfortable, and was extremely sweet and friendly as we ordered. It’s so refreshing to feel welcomed into a place like you’re an appreciated customer — as if we were being welcomed into his own home, with a big smile. The experience was more personal and kind rather than a big busy chain where you’re in and out. So refreshing. I guess that’s part of a small town like Paso though :)

Best Mediterranean Food! All the way from San Francisco to eat here. Fresh, perfect, All the flavored were amazing. The humus was smooth and perfect. Warm, fresh pita bread filled with a garlic cream cheese! Perfectly cooked falafel. Yummy cool cucumber dressing. I can’t eat it all!

Panolivo and Jaffa café are apparently in the same building. Which is great because you get the best of both worlds. Just had delicious eggs florentine for breakfast and it came with this savory coffee cake(one of the side options). Service was friendly, thou rough and quick. The price was perfect. Outside seating is available. This is definitely a place to go back to on my next visit

Clean, nice place with good service. Nice complementary jugs of filtered water for your table as you ate. Nice seating, indoor/outdoor shared with another restaurant. Everything about this place was pretty great except unfortunately the food was just«okay». Very westernized or inauthentic tasting middle eastern food. Falafels were still pretty good. Also tried some pastries, they looked amazing but the two things we had(chocolate almond croissant and peach almond tart) could have just dropped all other adjectives and been called«almond pastry». Almond was all you could taste.

Debbie and I were over in Paso for a wine and food pairing at Windward vineyard but it didn’t start till 2 so we needed a quick but light lunch. We had stopped here once before to get a couple sandwiches that we took and had a picnic. So we figured we would get a salad so not to fill up. Deb ordered a chicken salad and I had the crabcake salad. Both were very good with lots of mixed greens and not just iceberg lettuce. The meat on both had a good flavor. About the only complaint we had was the greens needed to be ripped into smaller pieces. Its not that hard to do in the kitchen so that the diners don’t have to take a knife to them to get them smaller. Some of mine were full sized and hadn’t been cut at all. All in all though they were both good salads.

I really enjoy lamb kabobs, and Dish Dash in Sunnyvale does them really well. So, when I ordered the lamb kabobs from Jaffa, I(silly me,) had Dish Dash quality in mind. The lamb chunks were 1⁄3 the size with a rice side, and we ordered an appetizer of tabbouleh. Flat… that is the word that comes to mind. Anyway, service was friendly and seating pleantiful.

So glad we have one in Paso now! I’ve tried the lamb gyro and the lamb shwarma plate… both were very good. With the meat cooked perfectly, nice soft pitas, and good portions, I will be coming back.

I am soooo happy they have come up to Paso. We have no real mediterranean to speak of here. The only thing I don’t like about it, is that it’s sharing a space with Panolivo(see my review on that place and you’ll know why. I thought I was done with them, but now that Jaffa is there, I HAVE to go back). Expect to spend about $ 10 bucks per person here. You can get a sandwich for $ 7 but you will be wanting a little something extra, like baklava or something. The menu is not as extensive as San Luis, but they have the best dishes. One hidden little gem is the lentil soup. It’s really good on a cold day and for $ 3 bucks you get a nice little bowl. Their shwarma is pretty good. Don’t bother with the gyro though. This is Mediterranean(Lebanese, I think) NOT Greek. Expect to spend the rest of the day reaking of garlic, too. The best, best, best thing about your meal at Jaffa is that garlic sauce they serve. Slather it on everything!

Same great food but higher prices than their SLO location. They share a building with Panolivo which had some diners confused. Atmosphere is more upscale than SLO. Staff is warm and friendly. I had the lamb Shawarma Plate with greens, lamb was perfectly done not to fatty nice crisp edges, the hummus was to die for smothered in warm oil and dusted with paprika. Warm grilled flat bread. The greens were fresh and crisp. The baklava was the only item that left me wanting, possibly not fresh? Mushy and lacking in honey. I will have to come back and try a second round(just to be sure.
