We did the wine tour for my husband’s birthday. I was somewhat disappointed as I had hoped to have a driver more familiar with the wineries and the jeep. We no sooner got in the jeep and the car started backing up into a parked car. The driver, Brad, said the jeep was having problems and wasn’t sure whether he was going to be able to change the gear to drive. After awhile the jeep went into drive and we were off on our tour. He was a nice person and It was a fun tour but he said that he doesn’t drive very often and he wasn’t as knowledgable with the wineries as we had hoped.

We had a great time on our tour. Sal made the whole experience great. He had to deal with three totally different wine palates and was able to please everyone! Sal picks you up, tries to get a feel for what you like and then figures out the best places to go. He clearly has a great rapport with the wineries and he really knows the history and back stories to everything(and everybody.) He has an awesome sense of humor and really made the whole experience a blast.

We went out for a day, and enjoyed the drive, the driver, the car, and the other couples that we traveled with. However, the winerys we visited weren’t the best — we didn’t wind up buying anything, and the other couples bought at most a bottle or two.

Sal thank you for such a great wine tour! This tour is unlike most you’ll find in Paso. Sal picks you up in this amazing jeep that open and airy. He suggests wineries based on what you like and don’t like. He knows all the locals! Since your in a jeep he provides a little off roading which is a unique experience. Great tour highly reccomend!

We’ve always loved coming to visit Paso Robles for the quaint city charm and the wines. Sal made the experience of Paso Robles that much more fun and better. He is very knowledgeable and personable. We loved all his recommendations and loved visiting the smaller wineries. We will definitely be coming back sooner than later and booking another tour with Sal.

Sal is a fantastic tour guide! His knowledge of the area, coupled with his insanely fun jeep made his tour truly one of a kind. Central Coast jeep tours are the best wine tour I’ve ever been on! Sal pinned our palates perfectly within 5 minutes of meeting us, and took us to wineries that most people wouldn’t have access to. One of the wineries he took us to was so spectacular, we joined their wine club! Sal was courteous, funny, and a truly one of a kind fellow. I will be telling all my friends about central coast wine tours!

I highly recommend these guys. We visit paso twice a year to pick up good wine with a reasonable price and each time we came home with cases of great wine. We love Richard. He is very knowledgable with wine and the area. He takes his time and listen. We told him we prefer smaller wineries. We like blends, Tempranillo and Charbono which is hard to find in SF. We came home with almost 5 cases of wine at the end of this trip. Richard has great sense of humor. We talked and laughed. By the end of the end we had so much fun and we can’t wait to come back. It was an enjoyable trip. THANKYOURICHARD.

A great way to spend the day in the Paso Robles area. Our guide, Gary, took us to some great wineries that were far off the beaten path. The lunch provided was excellent. I would happily do this tour again.

This was our first time wine tasting, and we are so happy we were able to spend the day with Sal. He was knowledgeable, personable and it really felt like we were spending the day with a good friend. The Jeep was a great way to get around. Much better than being stuck on a van or bus. We were celebrating our 26th Wedding Anniversary, and Sal took care of every detail and need we had. We are looking forward to coming back in the Spring, and will definitely call Sal.

Dear Sal, I can’t tell you enough how much we enjoyed our jeep tour! So friendly and entertaining :) We came in the during the week of the mid county fair 2015. The weather was a scorching 90+. It was my first time in wine country and I was with my friend who had gone before. So instead of driving around not knowing where to go, we found the jeep tour. It was perfect because we were able to go to some amazing wineries, 4 to be exact and an olive oil tasting which was the cherry on top! It was also a lot of sight seeing. Sal informed educated us about Paso Robles and the history. He took us through the back route and got to go a little bit Off-roading in the jeep. The price is worth it! Lunch is offered as well.

We took a wine tour with Sal during our 3rd wedding anniversary get away. We had such a good time on the tour! We visited 4 different wineries and got the chance to talk with each of the winery owners. Sal has a knack for finding wineries«off the beaten path» where you can get a real behind-the-scenes experience. We even got a winery tour and had a barrel tasting at one of them. It was a great way to spend the day and we hope to do it again!

Highly recommended. It was my first time in Paso Robles(I was visiting with my boyfriend) and I was delighted with the experience. Our day consisted of wine, nuts, wine, olive oil, lunch(included in the price of admission, and yummy), wine, and more wine. It was awesome! Sal has knowledge of the area and passion for what Paso Robles has to offer. I learned so much and loved every minute. No bus, train, or taxi offers such a personal and private experience. We even went off road! So cool.

Hands down the best wine tour in town! Gary was any amazing driver and really showed us what Paso Robles has to offer. We visited four awesome wineries and we were given ample time to taste at each of the wineries. We let Gary map out our day and he really showed us some amazing views and wineries. You can’t beat the price either! You get an all day tour of Paso Robles with lunch and tasting fees included. They even pick you up and drop you off at where you are staying. To top it off, they give you a really nice wine glass that you can keep at the end! It was amazing and worth any penny! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will use Central Coast Jeep Tour Adventures again in the future!

Sal was an awesome tour guide. Very knowledgable about the area. Took us to three great vineyards. Two of which we are now club members! The olive oil place at the end was the icing on the cake. We were like kids In a candy store and they even shipped to Texas for us! The lady at the olive place was very personable and I hope she finds someone just as outgoing as she is. Hint hint. The off-road excursion through some of the vineyards and farms added cool views and history of the area. We would highly recommend this tour. When we go back to Paso Robles we will do it again with zip lining too!!! Thanks Sal!

So worth it! We do wine tasting a lot, and this was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. Sal, the owner, was our driver, and he was awesome. He had a level of knowledge about the area that made every place he took us come alive, and he was able to pick up on our tastes and style in no time. He took us to 4 wineries and an olive oil farm, and we loved every minute of it. He had great information to offer about the other places we passed, about the land and the area, and he was just a fun person to ride with. I loved it. I would do it again in a heartbeat — especially since each ride is customized to the group — and I would also recommended it to experienced oenophiles and newbies alike! TL;DR: Just generally awesome.

Four Seasons service with a soul. An absolute blast. Sal and Nick were professional and knowledgable. Sal customized the trip to our taste hour by hour. 4 wineries 1 gourmet market and 1 olive oil tasting. End the day with some four– wheeling in the gorgeous mountains and call it a perfect California day. We tasted delicious wine and learned a lot about the rich central coast wine trade. The best wines and the greatest people were found at Vines on the Mary-crest and Wild Coyote.

Soooo glad we chose this over the other wine tours out there. My boyfriend and I had a blast. Sal took us to places most other tours dont visit. He knows the area well and took us through back roads with beautiful and scenic views. With only 6 people maximum, this tour is more personalized by Sal asking what our preferances are. The lunch was really good too. For sure on our next visit I will book this tour

After arriving in Atascadero and checking into the Carlton at about 10PM, the front desk girl gave us a large stack of brochures. My new husband and I(on our honeymoon), immediately got excited to see the jeep tour. We were completely unfamiliar with the area and with wine tasting in general. I emailed Sal at about 10:30 hoping we could get in the next day(which was a Monday). He wrote me back within 15 minutes, and let me know he would make it happen because we were on our honeymoon. 10:30AM on the dot Monday morning, he picked us up for an AMAZING day!!! The price was so reasonable and we couldn’t help but buy a few bottles of wine. He took us off the grid, on some beautiful back roads through vineyards. Not only that but Sal gave us so much information on the area and wine in general. Not only was it a great way to be broken into the wine tasting world, but we would absolutely do it again simply for the fun ride and great adventure :)

THISISTHEBESTWINETOUREVER!!! My husband and I were on our honeymoon in California and we decided to spend our last day in Paso Robles because we loved it so much from the beginning of the trip. We did our own wine tasting the first time we were there and visited some tasting rooms downtown(Grizzly Republic was our favorite), and while we were vineyard hopping, we saw this orange jeep tour a few times and it piqued our interest, so we decided to finally try it out on our last day! It was very reasonably priced at $ 109pp, with lunch and tastings at 4 wineries included! If you do the math, a tasting at 4 vineyards for 2 will run you about $ 80 if you don’t buy a bottle, and then a $ 30 lunch on top of that and you’re there already! Add in not having to worry about driving yourself down winding roads in unfamiliar territory after a few glasses of wine and we were sold! But it was so much more than that. We were lucky enough to have the owner, Sal, take us on a private custom tour on a Monday afternoon(this is absolutely the best day to go because the wineries aren’t as crowded). He was so personable and genuine and shared all of his knowledge about the history of the region with us along the way. He got a feel for what kind of wine we liked and what experience we wanted and then absolutely exceeded our expectations. He was gracious, unpretentious, and completely invested in our experience. He was very clear that we were under no pressure to buy any bottles of wine(even though we ended up getting 4) and made our comfort and delight his first priority. At the very end of the trip he took us to an amazing olive oil tasting completely off the map and we learned so much from Greg at Kiler Ridge and got a bottle of the lemon and thyme olive oil to bring home with us. Amazing! We’re going to tell all of our friends about this little gem and wanted to share it with all of you too! If you want a completely unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience, call Sal and he will not disappoint!

Wonderful tour! Our driver, Brad, was excellent and knowledgeable. The Jeep was awesome, being in the open, going through vineyards is unforgettable. Highly recommend — plus the lunch was delicious.
