I find most Bagels on the West Coast to be nothing more than bread shaped like a bagel. Not the case with the bagels from House of Bagels. I started buying Bagels at the House of Bagels near my home in the Bay Area. Upon moving to Pasa Robles I discovered, much to my delight, that we had a House of Bagels here. Next best thing to an East Coast bagel.

My husband and I came here both mornings while vacationing in Paso. The first morning we both had the veggie bagel sandwich — fresh and delicious! The second morning we opted for a simpler approach and just did a bagel with schmear — also delicious. Definitely come here as you won’t be disappointed.

We LOVE these bagels! The pretzel bagels are awesome and authentic… just like Philly!
The owner is super nice and the breakfast sandwiches are DELICIOUS!
Every time we come down from Sacramento we stop here and load up on bagels… YUM!

Such a huge selection of fresh bagels. I always get lox with plain schmear on their power green bagel.
Lox is fresh, and it’s just so so so good.

I took my sons here on a Monday morning that they had off from school and we had a wonderful time. There were so many bagels to choose from and different cream cheeses to pick too. The workers were friendly and accommodating as we customized our order, the store was clean, music was appropriate and not too loud or overwhelming, and there just aren’t enough nice things I can say about this place. We had a table next to the window and enjoyed every minute of our experience. Our bagels were yummy seasoned with a great atmosphere. We are now making it a, «day off from school» tradition.

Absolutely delicious vegan bagel sandwich on our roadtrip!
Sundried tomato bagel, avo, hummos, capers, lemon pepper & cucumbers.
Yummm.
Brought a bag of fresh bagels home to try.
Good local coffee & very friendly workers too.

I am Sir Bagelston the III son of Lorde Bagelston the II from the House of Bagels. I decree the bagels and sandwiches here to be of the finest quality. The ladies and gents that service this establishment are the finest across these great lands. I slayed my bagel sandwich with much delight like a bastard dragon.

I have nothing to say other than I fucking love this place. This place is the plug, I’m literally here 2 – 3 times a week. Eggs & hotties on a ghost pepper bagel leaves nothing to be desired. BAGEL DOGS?! Super skeptical? Don’t be, that shit is the bomb. Guess I had more to say than just the first sentence, but whatever, point is, don’t miss out on this gem.

Delicious find! I had the bagel and lox combination. I chose the everything bagel and jalapeño cream cheese. The everything bagel was covered in the seeds and seasoning, a refreshing change from the half covered bagels you’d find elsewhere. The lox were fresh and kept cold. We also tried their maple and bacon cronut. Aaamazing! I only give this place 4 starts because I think the inside could use some help in décor and comfort.

Best bagels in town! I can’t speak for their specialty items, but their plain bagels, cream cheeses, and cronuts are great! Staff are all nice too.
We have a family tradition of ‘bagel day Sunday’, and when Haggens bought Vons we had to find a replacement. HOB is our new spot and we are very happy.

Great customer service. Never a long wait, though it can get busy on the weekends.
I would however steer clear of their «mocha». Stick with black coffee. ;)

I ordered my breakfast sandwich via Unilocal.My creation was egg, turkey, bacon & onion on the jalapeño-​cheddar bagel. My order was ready upon my arrival and was delicious!!! One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Highly recommend House of Bagels and ordering online!!!

Just had the best lox in my life. Wow. The everything bagel is amazingly coated with poppy and awesome seeds. Yum! The lox are homemade and I had it topped with capers, onions and tomatoes. So good! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. They also have millions of drinks… from lattes to bona drinks. Highly impressed!

Anything less then 5 stars would be crazy. They have a large variety of food for any type of appetite. The staff is really freindly and patient. We will be back here very soon
