We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the Ceviche was amazing, had two of the Pizza’s, along with the scallops, empanadas and shrimp. The only down side was the 20.00 corkage fee for the first two bottles of wine going up to 30.00 for the 3rd. A bit much for a party of 8.

We had an outstanding experience here from beginning to finish. We started with the fried calamari and octopus and arugula salad. I had a fish stew special that was fresh and flavorful. Our waitress Nikki was knowledgable and friendly. You could tell she enjoys her job and is good at it, a definite stop when I am in paso.

Oh my goodness this place was fantastic. A unique blend of South American style with Italian flare. Everything we had was above and beyond our expectations, the food was suburb, the ambience was fun, and the service was beyond fantastic. My mom and I came into town for the weekend and are wishing we could take the restaurant home with us. She had one of the specials, a seafood stew, it was fresh and flavorful and the sauce definitely packed a punch. I had Pizza Bianca, it was the closest to true Italian pizza I have had in the US. The craft cocktail menu was also spectacular. The difficult decision was picking cocktails as the options were all so different, we both settled on seasonal selections Wichita were light, refreshing and incredibly complex.

Oh my. Amazing food… not a single dish was enjoyed without saying«wow.» From the service staff and the personal touch of the owners to the ambience and food, A+++ Can’t wait to visit their sister restaurant tomorrow. Refreshing to see the care these owners put into their establishments!

Cannot forget my Brazilian seafood stew, came with a plate of arborio rice and a small pot of spicy sauce. About died and went to heaven; dumped sauce in seafood stew. The intense blend of flavors was epic! Took pics of friend’s Margherita pizza; she said it was very good.

Outstanding food menu, and seasonal cocktail menu! I’m a Paso Robles transplant from the Nor-Cal Bay area, notorious for its vibrant bar scenes. I’m even a member of the USBGSV — United States Bartender’s Guild Silicon Valley, plus write my own series of Tiki cocktail books. I’ve visited more bars and hung around more cocktail enthusiasts than I can remember. This place is doing what most other bars across the country are NOT doing — using fresh ingredients, mixing high end spirits, barrel aging cocktails, and using actual thought and ingenuity behind the bar, plus offering seasonal menus that let guests experience completely new flavor combinations. I usually prefer to mix my own drinks at home because I’ve grown to be such a complete cocktail snob, but I’ve found my new go-to local watering hole. Keep up the great work La Cosecha. P. S. Start offering some legit classic Tiki drinks for summer! ’44 Mai Tai, Zombie, Navy Grog, etc… Heck I’ll even drop off one of my books for you. There are ZERO decent Tiki bars between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Make sure to stock up on Hamilton Demerara 151 and 80 proof(or Lemon Hart Demerara rums if they become available in the USA again) to make those legit Tiki drinks. And Ron Zacapa 23yr. Solera rum which isn’t on your menu, because you need it. And the entire line of Plantation rums. And add some Martinique Agricole Rhum to your menu selection as well. If you mix it, the cocktail nerds will come!!!

My husband and I visited Paso Robles for a few days in celebration of our anniversary. We made reservations at La Cosecha for dinner and noted it was our anniversary. We were offered a postage stamp size table in a corner adjacent to a table for a large party. I asked if we could sit at another empty table and was told«those are for 7 pm». They also mentioned our booking was«on the internet» I said there is no room at that table and I made the reservations some time ago. After consulting with 3 others and my suggestion we go somewhere else, they seated us at a larger table. The ceviche was good, served with chips, buffalo short ribs and celery root mashed potato was tasty, salmon was pan fried and just ok. The wine was good and the service pleasant, brisk and helpful if asked. Most places will offer a complimentary dessert or beverage for celebrations. We got«it’s your anniversary … Happy Anniversary». BTW, the small table we were offered was NEVERFILLED. We had rezos for 6:45 and we had dinner and drinks, went down the street to Artisan for a drink that was comped by a very friendly staff! Live and learn!

My wife and I went here for the first time the other night. Wow, was it awesome. First, we are locals, so very excited about having a place like this to take family and friends. Very nice bartenders, Michael and Jessie. The food was awesome. We had the Prawns/Linguicia polenta appetizer and it was so good. It was a very good portion as well. Then we had the Special the Brazailan Stew. Again, wow, was it special and so awesome. Also, very reasonably priced for the portions you recieve. We loved it so much, we tried to mimick the recipe a few nights later at home, but didn’t come close. Oh ya, the Finder’s Mule, was much much better than your average Moscow mule… «5 stars» for our first time out… I can’t wait to try other things next time…

After a fine day of wine drinking we were looking forward to dinner at La Cosecha. It under-whelmed us, highly possible due to a loud warrior game that was ongoing, lot of shouting and yelling, the tables are too small for holding the food you order. The staff was overly eager in selling us a $$$ wine bottle(a definite no for me!). Décor vibe is nice, open bar concept and the food was actually delicious. Onto food review– Appetizer — Lamb sausage pizza(good) + charcuterie plate(excellent mix of liver pâté, pork belly, manchego cheese, nuts,) Main — two of us had the off-menu seafood coconut milk latin stew(deelish! with a side of harberno sauce, just add it for the right amount of kick to the stew!!), steak and velvet potatoes(ok) Wine: Pinot suggested by the server — just ok We skipped dessert and stopped at a 24 hour donut shop on the way home!

Stopped in here recently when I was in town for some wine-tasting up in the hills as I had heard good things about this place. I was not disappointed! I had two«small plates», what I like to refer to as American Tapas. The first one was Ecuadorian shrimp w/roasted corn, romesco, and shishito peppers and the second one was Pan-seared scallops w/sweet mashed potato, seasonal mushrooms, and white truffle oil. Both were really very good. I sat at the bar with a friend. Jason was the bartender and he made a drink for my friend that she really enjoyed but I don’t remember what it was. I only had water but Jason gave us some good leads on a couple of places out of Paso and he was very personable! One of the best bars in SLO(where we were heading to the next day) was the one he told us to go to and it is called Luna Red. BEST.DRINKS.EVER. at Luna Red — and sit at the outside bar in the sunshine if you go. Jason also told us about Ruddell’s Smokehouse in Cayucos, right across from the beach, a little corner hole-in-the-wall but incredible fresh fish tacos! Anyway, I will come back to La Cosecha the next time that I am in town.

First time here last night and let me say James the bartender made amazing custom crafted whiskey and gin drinks based on our flavor profile(since we were crazy about the sweeter drinks the meni had). The empanadas were great. The pork chop and mediterrean pizza was just ‘ok’. Our server was just ok too. But I can’t praise James enough, the drinks were amazing and made our evening! Looking forward to going back for great cocktails.

The ceviche and the tortilla soup was good. The steak was over cooked and pretty terrible. The pizza was oily. Service was slow and inattentive. Meh. I expect more from a more highly rated restaurant, especially coming from LA. Not worth the $ 109 bill. Go elsewhere.

It was my mother’s birthday so while shopping in Paso, we walked by and decided this would be a nice place to take our family to celebrate for dinner. My sister popped in and asked for a reservation since we were a party of 6, and we were told a big table would be waiting for us at 7pm. When we arrived, we were pointedly told no reservation was in their books anmd their big table had already been reserved. My sister and I stood there aghast with gift bags in our hands for a few moments before a nice ldy who I assume was a supervisor or manager of some kind assured us they would solve the problem and seat us in just a few moments. They did exactly that, and from that moment on our experience was superb. Our server was friendly and polite, he made helpful suggestions from the menu, and took my parents playful joking all in stride. We enjoyed our meals, I particularly liked the wine, and we were offered complimentary trio of desserts for the earlier mix-up. They also have legit barrel aged bourbon behind the bar. They opened the barrel to make my brother-in-laws old fashioned. It was stupendous. I had to deduct one star for the earlier staff members incompetence, but I am VERY pleased by how our night went outside of that and greatly appreciated the extra attention. My mom felt spoiled and loved.

Great location on the square in Paso Robles and wonderful outside eating area that faces the square. I love that they understand the ambiance factor. Warm wood and brick and friendly staff. A little pricey but I can see that they are going for the«upscale» feel. We ordered 2 beers each. Barrelhouse on tap and a personal pizza and salad, the bill was $ 60.00(plus $ 12 tip). A little steep for simple rustic food but I think they’re going for the wine crowd vs. the local crowd, bummer because the bartender was so friendly that I’d like to return to hang out for beers or a nice beverage. The salad was dressed perfectly but it was just arugula and beets. Pizza was good but again $ 60 a little steep for that and 2 beers each. I did want to order a pizza and asked for it without cheese and was told no. The chef will only do it his way so I ordered the salad and had the second beer to fill me up. All the dinner salads looked super simple but the lunch salads looked amazing. Unfortunately when I walked passed the front at the menu’s I looked at the lunch menu, my fault. I would like to try the lunch salads. I took a photo of the menu, I didn’t feel like a huge meal so a salad or pizza sounded great, when I was told I couldn’t have the pizza without cheese the chef made the decision for me. Perhaps they make them in advance? Seems a little silly to me on a pizza, I’d understand on a unique dish so if you are averse to any ingredients or have any allergies this is not the place for you. Definitely recommended for cocktails however, great bartender.

Comfortable and elegant! Everything we ate was exceptional, and the menu is unique. The wine list has wonderful surprises from all over the world, but the barrel aged cocktails are the best! Great place to enjoy lunch in leisure; dinner at the bar or at a table with friends is an experience to be remembered! Thanks Carol, Andy, Jenna, and all the crew for making our day such a joy!

My wife and I had dinner at La Cosecha last night. We had a fantastic meal. Our server was Lacy and she did a great job. The food was really good. We had the Salmon and the Duck Confit. Both of these were really good and worth getting. The Salmon was complimented with whipped potatoes and a sweet sauce that was truly fantastic. The Duck was served in stoneware and kept it hot. Served with a verde style rice that my wife and I couldn’t stop eating. Great wine, great food and great times. Go there.

Made reservations for a Friday evening before Valentine’s Day ahead of time. The restaurant was sure to call me day prior to confirm and on their site are specific about how important it is to keep your reservation. What I think they should be more concerned about is how can they make their customers feel special, enjoy their meal and want to return. Not the case. We arrived at 6pm for a 6:15pm reservation knowing we would have a cocktail while waiting for our table. The hostess says your table is ready now. Here is your table that seats right at the front door. Really? Probably the worse table in the place. My husband asked about the table over and we are informed that table is reserved. Oh, ok… Didn’t we have a reservation? The hostess was very unaccommodating and it was obvious she could care less whether we stayed or not. We were then offered a very small table in the corner. My husband is 6’5″ tall and I’m surprised she would even offer it. With all that said, this rating is obviously not about the food. It’s about my experience with the all important hostess. I will never return, I will never recommend. And, when making reservations in the future I will ask if the table they’ll seat us at is smack dab in front of the front door.

I liked my burger very much: the patty was cooked well, I liked the salad that came with it. Margarita pizza was huge, thin crust and tangy sauce — pretty good. However a few things were not great. My husbands salad was not very satisfying — very small. More veggies and greens would have been nice. I don’t think it was really an entrée. Their«happy hour» menu was not very happy — same prices but just less choice. Like way less choice, we were a bit disappointed. I guess it’s happy for the restaurant owner? The setting was pleasant — nice large tables and nice atmosphere. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. I didn’t want any cheese on my salad so she wanted to make sure the cheese on the burger was going to be ok.

TRIED to go here for lunch on a Tuesday based upon a recommendation from a wine tasting mgr as we needed a dog friendly spot. Because this eatery only allowed dogs on their patio dining bar we asked if our party of 6 could sit there, squeezing in an extra chair. I observed the server we asked & the mgr(?) check us out(gawked, really) then saying«no» to adding the extra seat. I guess our $ 250+\- lunch(would’ve ordered 2 bottles of wine at minimum) will just go elsewhere. See ya next time — not! And beware users. This business only lets you TIEYOURDOGTOTHEPATIODININGBARRAIL, LEFTONTHESIDEWALK. Not my baby, thanks. Go down the street to Red Scooter. Good food; loves pups!

I had a terrific meal here in mid-June. I was dining alone and the restaurant wasn’t that busy; probably because the last game of the NBA finals was on. I tried 3 items and all were fantastic: cadillac margarita, grilled octopus salad, and pork cheeks. Probably the best grilled octopus I’ve ever had and the sauce was just flat out phenomenal. I didn’t think it could get better and then the pork cheek showed up. That was a dish I took a bite of and just stared at it in amazement of how flavorful it was. The mashed potatoes it was served with were so creamy and delicious I began to question whether they were really mashed potatoes. The week before I had dined at their sister restaurant, Il Cortile just up the street and had a similarly excellent meal. La Cosecha was just as nice but obviously a different type of cuisine. Turns out the chef is the same for both restaurants, Santos. I learned this after chatting with the friendly manager Andrew and being served by Lex who was great with his drink and salad recommendations. I can’t wait to try this place again as the menu looks very creative.
