We had the pleasure of visiting Le Vigne Winery for a tasting this weekend. It was a most enjoyable experience. John was so knowledgable and friendly. And the wine was excellent! We also bought cheese. The selection was terrific! We ended up joining the wine club and we are looking forward to many more visits. We highly recommend it. And they are dog friendly too!

Average wine. Nothing outstanding. Had both the chocolate and cheese pairings. All the chocolate was terrible and didn’t compliment the wine. If anything it distracted from it. The cheeses were excellent but didn’t compliment the wines. Again it was distracting. Our server was so nice but had no knowledge of the wines at all. Didn’t even know if the Chardonnay was aged in oak or steel. I got my answer after tasting it.

Went here on all the recommendations. Not impressed. Very pretty building. We had the chocolate and cheese pairings. None of us felt the like the wine paired well with the food. The wine should have been the highlight. Our server wasn’t knowledgeable about the wine. None of us bought any wine and didn’t feel the need to go back.

Great wines paired with delicious cheeses. They serve great Paninis paired with wine. The tasting room is beautiful and John Yanes is fantastic. He is so exuberant and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this winery.

Lavigne was recommended to us by an employee at the prior winery we were at. Out of all the six we went to this was my least favorite of them all. If it weren’t for their great selection of cheese I probably would’ve given this place a 2 star. The ambiance was good, the wine was Ok. However their selection of cheese was Amazing. They had one of the best brie I’ve had thus far. Unfortunately I didn’t get to buy some to take home, because it wasn’t until we took off that I found out that they actually give you a little travelling cooler to keep the cheese cool as you travel. I will definitely take note for next time.

Best winery wine & cheese paring. Wines were 1st class, tasty, cheeses were excellent. Wine tasting room staff were friendly, knowledgeable, for an enjoyable experience. Darren was an outstanding host.

This place has it all. Great staff! Great wines! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL location with unmatched vistas! Great Italian Cypress trees bordering the winery property. An added benefit of having world class cheeses available for purchase or to pair with wines… and an EXCELLENT and TOTALLYKNOWLEDGEABLESTAFF!!! If they were on the NYSE or NASDAQ, I would buy their stock!

Good wine at a range of prices a bit off the beaten track. They also offer a popular cheese pairing for $ 15 — I stuck with just the wine at $ 10 for five pours(waived with 2 bottle purchase). I dropped in late on a Tuesday and had the counter to myself, though the friendly gentleman pouring explained they can get quite slammed at peak hours. The Chardonnay was not my style, but I walked out with an excellent Merlot and Sangiovese, varietals I don’t always expect to love from Paso. Le Vigne is an Eastside spot worth a visit.

Great place for some food and wine. We did the wine and cheese tasting which was $ 15 and included a small cutting board in addition to yummy cheeses and wines. Loved the truffle cheese. Wines aren’t too pricey here and seems to be good for current drinking. They have the best Black Friday sales. Very drinkable wine for great prices!

Wines were ok, purchased 2, so one $ 10 tasting fee would be waved. We were charged for 2 tasting fees and when we mentioned it, they offered a free tasting next time we visit, so we wouldn’t have to wait for a manager to re-ring the sale error. I as ok with that, as I didn’t wish them to go out of their way on this slow day(3 couples in the room, with 4 employees up front). One wine was priced at $ 19 on the tasting menu, but rang up as $ 21. Wine coaster priced at $ 9.99, was $ 10.50 in the computer. I also inquired about that and they said, hey, I will make a note that, that needs to get changed in the computer. The $ 12.50 isn’t going to kill me, but the lack of effort in a service business didn’t win me over as an advocate. This is an update to the original posting. I went back the next day, as my wife forgot her umbrella and John, the tasting room manager took me aside. We discussed what had happened the day before and he apologized for the inconvenience and gave us an additional coupon to use and stated that pricing would be updated. I appreciate his professionalism for«making it right». We shall return and purchase another Sangiovese.

Fantastic wine and cheese or wine and chocolate pairings and award winning olive oil ! Cute outdoor patio to enjoy a nice glass of wine and panini. There food is as good as their wines. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Many staff have been with the winery back when it was Sylvester. Highly recommend stopping by Le Vigne!

Omg!!! This place is awesome! The cheese and chocolate pairing are to die for. I am a member and the pickup party is great. Staff is wonderful and super helpful and knowledgable. Greg and Kelsey always make my visit top notch. Everyone makes you feel like you are part of La Familia. The Tannat is so flavorful, bold, and oh so smooth. Delish!!!

Great wines paired with a delicious selection of international cheeses and flavorfully decadent chocolates makes visiting Le Vigne a must when touring Paso Robles’ wine country. Le Vigne’s tastings are definitely an experience you’re sure to enjoy! The first, and my favorite, is the Cheese Flight($ 12.00). * Kokos: a Dutch cheese enriched with coconut cream and paired with a 2013 Paso Robles Chardonnay. * Appenzeller: from the northeastern regions of Switzerland, this hard cow’s milk cheese is paired with a 2012LV Tannat. * Mahon: a Spanish cow’s milk, creamy with a nutty finish, blends wonderfully with Le Vigne’s 2012LV Cabernet Franc. * Le Gruyère: Swiss cheese(my favorite), especially when tasted against the 2012LV Petite Sirah. * Stärnächäs: a mild Swiss with a hint of spice(also one of my favorites) was paired with a 2012 Ame de la Vigne. The second, the Decadent Flight($ 12.00). * Sea Salt Almond with a NV Kiara California Sparkling Wine. * Vanini Milk Chocolate and a 2014 Bella Moscato! * Raspberry Dark paired against the 2012LV Tannat. * Coffee Crunch alongside the 2012LV Cabernet Franc. * Cherry & Chipotle Dark Chocolate next to – what else? – a taste of Port, Le Vigne’s 2005 Syrah Port!!!(I’m always a Port fan!) Le Vigne’s superb cheeses and chocolates are available for purchase, of course. You may even decide to relax in their picnic grounds for a bit, sample a little more cheese, kick back with a bottle of your choice. Le Vigne’s makes some great-tasting paninis, by the way, but if you’ve decided to simply bring along a scrumptious, summertime lunch of your own, even better!(But get some Le Gruyère or Stärnächäs anyway. Your tastebuds’ll thank you!)

This winery cheese pairing and chocolate pairing is absolutly amazing. Not it only bring out the taste of wine but even the cheese. We as well love the cooking classes and dinner. People are very friendly, prices are good and you can do just small member ship which i am very happy about. We always come more often anyway and buy more bottles so i am happy that i am not having home toi much shipment because sometimes we dont drink it so fast. Worth to come here and you can buy cheese too.

So I went here about two weeks ago and promised myself that I would review. It was the first winery in Paso Robles that I went to. The winery was supposed to close at 5:00pm. My husband and I showed up at 4:40pm. When we walked instead of rushing us, the guy at the front welcomed us in and made us feel welcomed. He suggested the wine and cheese pairing. It was super fun and I learned a lot. I ended up purchasing two bottles of wine(sangiovese) which I had never tried before. I am not a wine expert but I know I do not like super dry wines. This was delicious. Oh and I bought to of the cheeses that we sampled. At the end they threw in a free cheese board and a little cooler bag for the cheese. Thanks guys, I had such a fantastic time here. I would come back!!!
