We had the al pastor taco plate yesterday. It was so good I had to come back. Great service. Love the hot green salsa.

This cute little place is noted for an external al pastor spit that«turns» out some lovely flavorful pork al pastor tacos. My daughter had an enchilada and tamal combo. Both dishes came with rice and beans and plenty of limes. The delicious avocado and spicy tomato salsas were fantastic. A great little hideaway spot for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Well I was craving tacos on mother’s day, so that was my request before we went to the movies. All I can say is this place is amazing! Not to excited about the décor or how stuffy and hot it was in there but it definitely cured that craving. I had the al pastor tacos and I will suggest you ask for the pico on the side… they put way to much on. My son ordered the chicken chili rellano and he did not leave a morsel on his plate. He said it was really good. My fiancé had the chicken taco with rive and beans and he loved it. I highly suggest trying it. It was really good.

Oh man, I don’t know how I haven’t reviewed this place. It’s my go to taco craving spot. Get the pastor tacos — I haven’t been thrilled with anything else. Just get the Pastor tacos. Did I mention who good the pastor tacos are?

I would say that the food for breakfast was good, but a little bit overpriced for the food. The staff was nice and the food came hot and timely and I would have given this a little better rating, but the patio area where we sat because we brought our small dog was really on the nasty side. The tables and chairs looked all beat up and most of the chairs had tears or gouged out holes in them. The patio itself was dark with no lights in it for the morning. If they worked on this I think the place would be better.

The staff is very nice and the food is pretty good! I love the carne asada tacos I could eat them everyday. I love that they give you lime and salsa on the side. This was just a pit stop before we head back all the way home to LA county. The prices were affordable and they give you a lot.

First time here and it was pretty delicious. I got the camarones al mojo de ajo(garlic shrimp) it was really great the sauce was so good and it complimented the huge shrimp also the rice and beans are just the way I like ‘em and don’t get me started on the flan and fresh squeezed oj which were perfection. My boyfriend got the Milanesa plate and he said it was so tender and juicy and just like me fell in love with the flan and oj Came in here cause I was hungry and saw some good reviews I will probably be back for the great food and kind staff also the portions are pretty awesome

This is my first review here on Unilocal… That’s how much I don’t complain or rave about food. My girlfriend does all this stuff. I just eat. This is also the first and LAST time I will be coming here. I got the biscuits and gravy, tri-tip and eggs with wheat bread and hash browns, and pancakes with a side of bacon. To drink, I got fresh squeezed OJ and regular OJ and it was all to go. The bad: Tri-tip: wayyy overdone. It was almost a brick. I can also tell you it was leftover from yesterday and they just heated it back up; outside was hot and the inside was still cool. Eggs: I asked for over medium and got over easy. There wasn’t a single part of the yolk was cooked. Biscuits and Gravy: now these were okay. A little more seasoning would’ve made it better. However, I live on the East side and so I had asked for the biscuits and gravy to be separate so it wasn’t soggy by the time I got it home and they decided to put them together. Bacon: oh wait… They forgot it. Fresh squeezed OJ: took one sip and it tasted like it came out of a machine. Also after I took a sip, I looked down and it had a fly in it floating up from the bottom. AREYOUKIDDINGME? Wheat Bread: how can you mess up bread?! They gave me white and it was barely toasted. The good: Pancakes weren’t bad.

Restaurant was busy and packed. Took awhile to get our food but everything was delicious. Spicy sausages and the country system potatoes were very good. Our server came back several times to top off our coffee cups.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was fast and very friendly. The fish tacos were delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection and the Greco toppings and tacos were perfect. You have to order three at a time but they are well worth it. I would recommend this place for a great lunch.

A delicious satisfying meal. We had: –chicken taco — grilled cheese w/fries –tacos al pastor –enchilada –Agua de Tamarindo –Agua de horchata –carne Asada tacos They are known for their Al Pastor tacos and indeed they were the best amongst what we ordered. The enchilada sauce was a bit too strong in tomato flavor(tomato paste tasting). Their salsa is delicious if you like spicy hot! I wish they would have offered one spicy and one mild salsa instead of 2 hot salsas. Their Tamarindo Agua Fresca was really good not too sugary. Their orchata water did not taste homemade, it was very sugary and tasted like the packaged kind, which is a shame since its so easy to make it fresh. If I came back to this restaurant it would be for the Tacos al Pastor. :)

This place was whateves… I was not impressed with the food. I had a waffle it came with eggs and I already forgot what else that is how boing it was. The friend that I went with had chorizo and eggs and it was also bland. The portions were GIANT but we are in America so if you are looking for a giant meal they have that here for you. The staff was not as attentive as they should be since it is not that giant of a restaurant. I had to go get menus since they took almost ten minutes to bring them out to us. I will most definitely not be coming back.

The tacos are amazing. The salsa is great too. When they have the el pastor cooking out on the patio you can smell the tacos a block away. When in Paso this is my 1st choice for some great tacos. My only con is that after the 1st basket of chips you have to pay for them.

Los Robles Café is on the block with the Locksmith and the closed fox theatre. From the outside it doesn’t look like much. On the inside it is plain as well. So what! The green salsa and the al pastor tacos are incredible. There is salsa and chips, limes and radishes, tacos on my place and the cooked onions with the cilantro and wow! Squeeze the lime, add some of the green salsa and you have the best taco in Paso Robles!!! now here is the kicker! 4.10 for 3 tacos. out the door for 5 bucks! best deal in town. Nice friendly, and more. Order in Spanish helps connect you! I love this place. It was time for an update and this place still has it!

With so many 5 star reviews, this place had better live up to it’s reputation. That is what was going through my head when we pulled up to this tiny little hole in the wall. It is so tiny, and unassuming, we actually drove right past it, and had to backtrack to find it. One of the reasons that I chose this place is that it offered both Mexican and American breakfasts. I am a fan of the Mexican, while my husband tends to stick to American fare, as was the case on this visit. My husband went with one of the daily specials, which was a walnut waffle with eggs, and sausage. Actually, the server came up and let us know that the cook forgot the walnuts, and had another waffle delivered to the table in just minutes. He really enjoyed his waffle, but the star of the show for him was the sausage patties. They were exceptionally well seasoned, and was a fine example of what country sausage should be. I went with the other daily special. This place is famous for its Al Pastor, so of course, I had to try the Al Pastor Enchiladas, with eggs. It was served with potatoes and pinto beans. I absolutely loved these enchiladas. The Al Pastor was very crispy, and well seasoned. The server was excellent, and made sure that we had everything that we needed. This place rocks, and I would definitely come back here when in Paso.

Oh yeah. Thank you Wendy and Del B. for taking us here for lunch. Al Pastor with a real trompo. Menudo on the weekend served with pata on request. Great food and bright flavors. Went back for breakfast and had two huge meals. We liked the breakfast here more than at Joe’s Café. Check out the pictures for an idea of the dishes. Lots to eat. Totally recommended.

Great place for authentic Mexican tacos! You can not go wrong and they have menudo on the weekends! If you are feeding a big group you can order just the meat and fixings and it’s cheaper the ordering tacos! We love this place!

As stubborn as I can be, I must be contrite and admit I have found better Mexican food than in my own home town of Corona, a Mexican foodie mecca. And, you guessed it, it was right here. Now, I didn’t taste everything on the menu, granted it was our first time, but following the advice of the owner of one of the wineries we visited that day, as well as the advice of those who came before us, we locked in on the most popular, al pastor. Our first clue that we were experiencing the real deal came with the chip offering. Two salsas accompanied the fresh chips, a dark, smooth red plus a light green. The thick, smooth red was the spicier of the two but with complex flavors that brought me back to delicious memories of long ago. I was hooked. But then I tasted the green salsa. It was bright, fresh and mouth watering. I have no idea what was in it, but I swear it might have had some cucumber, lime and possibly some avocado as well as a bright chile, blended into a buttery smooth concoction. Both were exceptional. Mr. B ordered three street tacos. For small $, he got a big plate of small, soft tortillas topped with lots of meat. Al Pastor of course. Garnished with cilantro and onion, his plate went from full to empty with astonishing alacrity. My tostada was even better, and a bargain at $ 6.95. Starting with a crispy tortilla smeared with some of the best refried beans on this planet, it was then layered with a good portion of al pastor. Some chopped lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese finished the masterpiece. While cheddar is not authentic IMO, I was told the pastor was cooked authentically, skewered on one of those vertical skewers, where it spins next to a heat source that sears and nearly burns that fatty, perfectly seasoned meat while pineapple slices drip cooked juices down on the meat. Then it is sliced off as needed. I cannot prove that. However, the tender meat reeked of deliciousness. I shall forever forward use this as my benchmark for the perfect al pastor and a fabulous tostada. I indulged in a small side of guacamole that was well worth the upgrade. Very bright from lime, delicious mashed Hass avocado, and some finely chopped onion and cilantro, it was simple, straight forward, slightly chunky, just the way I like it. There is no fancy café. It could use some TLC, rather barrio-like. But I really don’t care. It is casual, comfortable, non-pretentious, and has a decent, small town feel. Lest we forget, this shall remain in my bookmarks. I want to make sure we visit this place whenever in the area. Loved this place!
