I purchased two gazebos from OSH. Mind you the salesman was wonderful but I made it all the way up to Lake Nacimiento with only one of the gazebos. I had workers here to assemble them both and I realized I just had one. I tried calling the PR store and the phone was busy for 10 minutes. I drove down the mountain and they finally answered when I reached the Fairgrounds. They checked their computer inventory and realized they had an extra. They didn’t ask for proof of purchase, my rewards number or even my name. The manager called out to the loading area and told the workers that I forgot my gazebo. NO I DIDNOTFORGETMYGAZEBO! No apologizes or offer to compensate at all. I am NOT pleased. Manager Cory dropped the ball folks.

OSH in Paso is clean, well-stocked and conveniently located. Employees are helpful & if they don’t know where an item is, they ask someone. Prices on some items are higher than Lowes or Home Depot BUT for me it’s worth it because of the great customer service. Also if you buy a big/heavy item(BBQ, pavers, mulch/soil) you can pull your car through their drive thru & they’ll the stuff for you.

The employees at this store seem to hate their job. Or hate customers… not sure which. Every time I ask a question of them, it appears I am putting them out. The last time I was there, they only had 1 of an item I needed 2 of. I asked if they had any more in the back, and the response I received was, ‘No, you should call the store down south and see if they have any.’ I have worked in customer service and received great customer service elsewhere to know that I was simply being brushed off. Look in the back for me, or offer to call the other store for me so I can continue with my shopping. Not my favorite hardware store for this reason.

Some of the most helpful, friendly staff that you will find. I love shopping there for household hardware items and garden materials. They have everything you need and items are easy to find.

Having read a lot about quiet computing, I read several tips on to build a custom rig, as my computer was located in the same room that I slept in. A lot of the custom rig required handmade vents to redirect the airflow, plus heat-sinks that you couldn’t just buy off the shelf. With the help of the folks at OSH, they were able to point me in the right direction. Not bad considering this is certainly not a dedicated custom computer parts store! Besides all the ducts, filters, joints and other pieces for the computer rig, they also carry a nice selection of odds and ends like casters, ball barrings and so forth. Unlike some other large home improvement stores, the staff is actually available and willing to help if you need it.

This place has everything I need, — and yes it is a chain — Be sure to look at the weekly fliers in the mail — Some of the specials are incredible!

Odd ball nuts and bolts. Osh is a great place for me to find those odd ball nuts and bolts that other hardware stores don’t seem to carry. Another great feature about osh is they often do WEPAYTHETAX weekends. Every little bit helps.

I like going to OSH in Paso for a couple of reasons: One is that they are extremely well-stocked, with lots of variety that goes beyond the big home improvement stores. But actually, OSH is a pretty big place as well. The second reason is that they have a lot of sales staff roaming the floor and providing help. I’ve always gotten knowledgeable people. Prices are fair. I look forward to going back.
