Great authentic Mexican food with fantastic service. Salsa is fresh and made from scratch. Carne Asada is delicious and not greasy. Tortas sandwich is best I have ever had. Beer is cold and chips are fresh.

I had a pork, carnitas, beef and chicken taco with rice and beans. They were all delicious. The rice and beans reminded me of how my mom made here, so so good. Very reasonably priced as well. Best Mexican I’ve had in Paso Robles.

The mocohete was enough food for 3 or 4 people and came out in a giant stone pot! The margaritas were quite good and they even brought us out a small refill. Definitely one of the best authentic Mexican meals I’ve had on the central coast.

Delicious food! Large portions, decent price and AUTHENTIC! Even my very picky son cleaned his plate. Why not 5 stars? Was a little heavy on the salt side. But otherwise definitely one of our favs.

Best Mexican seafood in the county. The Campachana… is the best I have tried in the area. They are consistent and I keep going back for more. If you want Mexican seafood in the area. Check them out.

I am super spoiled in the Mexican food department what with Alberto’s in El Monte and La Reyna Market in Paso. That also means that I have high expectations and Taqueria Jalisco did not disappoint! My husband turned my on to this place and I was super impressed with the carne asada tacos and the green salsa. The red salsa was smoky and nice, too. What really make me a fan was the nachos! Super crispy chips with just the right amount of beans, cotija cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and creama. My husband brought them all way home and even after about an hour they were still perfectly crispy. The hubs had a burrito that for sure met the qualifications of being the size of our 7 year olds torso. Impressive! There are no frills here and it’s not super cheap, but you get what you pay for and here you’re paying for authentic real deal Mexican food.

I was really disappointed in this place. I ordered a carne asada burrito and cheese quesadilla to go. It cost $ 17.50. Now, I know that it’s commonplace nowadays for restaurants to pump up burritos up with a whole lot of cheap refried beans and rice, and they sure did – but if there was ANY meat at all in that burrito I sure couldn’t find it! Take me back to the original Alberto’s on Convoy Drive in San Diego in the ‘80s. They made the best carne asada burrito(the tortillas back then were not spongey and they were chock full of tender cane asada) and quesadilla(they were browned a bit more than the ones you get now, which are just barely browned). Well, I won’t be going back to this place, and the sad thing is that this is getting to be accepted as the norm. Sad.

I come from a place called Fontana, that has its share of tasty food. Usually, I have a problem finding something that compares to that wealth flavor. This place met that standard. The meat was tender, the cheese smelled authentic, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the salsa was spicy. I would definitely come here if I was in the Paso Robles area.

Awsome Mexican food, great service. This is our spot every Sunday. Can’t beat $ 1.50 Tacos and $ 2 beers on Tuesdays.

The carne asana tacos were great! More authentic than I usually see. We didn’t try anything else so I can’t comment on the other menu items.

I wanted to like this place because it’s close to my new house and the prices are decent. Unfortunately, my chicken burrito was really bad. The chicken was dry and tough and the service was marginal.

Hard to go wrong with Mexican food. Old Jalisco used to be the best but they moved nextdoor and got all soft. The pastor and carnitas was overcooked and the pastor was extremely oily. Not the best place in town but i’d probably still give them another chance since they used to be so good before they switched everything.

Went here on my way back from the coast to the central valley, and decided to stop here because of positive Unilocal reviews. I was not disappointed. For under $ 20, my partner and I shared crispy chips and salsa, a huge carne asada burrito, a taco platter with two carne asada tacos, rice, beans, and one shrimp taco. They are smaller, true street taco style, with plenty of cilantro and onion, but we left stuffed with half a burrito left over! The only negative was that the salsa was in desperate need of salt, but that was easily fixed. The service was very good, and you must try the avocado green sauce! I can’t wait to go back again.

Had the Carne Azada con Queso, it was awesome! Slightly seared with the cheese melted perfectly, also came with flavorful rice and beans that tasted great. Over all this was a great meal, can’t beat their prices either. Skip Sancho’s and head here for food with traditional flavor. I will return.
