Fatsumo Sushi

Decent sushi… slow. so don’t go there and eat in expecting to get out quickly. In fact, when we ate there no one else was there and they still were super slow. They had mostly phone orders (I wonder why???) Next time… I am calling my order in to pick up.

Good sushi, terrible customer service. We try to go here often, but it always takes a long time no matter if it’s full or three tables. Saturday, at 7 pm, we had a waitress refuse to seat our table of 4 because (this is where if gets fun) 1. There was no room. We referenced a corner booth seat, which we could all fit, and she said no you won’t be comfortable there. 2. Asking if we can wait for a booth, she replied that everyone in the restaurant (!) was waiting on fo, and it was at least 25 minutes out. We always wait 30+ minutes for our food here, so I’m not sure if she was ignorant or just wanting to leave sooner. 3. After responding we can wait, she informed us that all the tables were drinking large bottles of saki and have no intention of leaving any time soon. We actually starting laughing at this excuse and the fact she seemed irritated her tables we lingering over saki. Astonishing. Finally, after being quiet the entire time, I just asked her if she didn’t want us there. No reply. We went across the street to Hook Gulf Coast Cuisine and were promptly seated. The worst part is the owner was 10′ away making sushi. It’s hard to think the server wasn’t instructed to not seat anyone, since it was 7pm and the restaurant was mildly full. That is fine, but they need to turn off their open sign and change the hours. Pretty sure this is why his other restaurants are all closed.

I’ve been having some KILLER sushi cravings lately, and this place left me fully satisfied. I didn’t care for the ramen but the sushi was outstanding and fresh. I did the combo with the one lightweight and one half grand champion. I did the maki salmon roll as the lightweight and the shotgun roll as the half grand champion. The maki salmon practically melted in my mouth. It was so good and so fresh. The shotgun roll was out of sight! I could go either way with the orange ginger marmalade sauce they put on top. Next time I might request it with no sauce. But the bacon wrapped shrimp and avocado paired very nicely together. Staff was outstanding. I walked in and placed this order to go and within 10 minutes I was in the car driving home. Definitely going again. Prices were good too.

Outstanding! A BYOB location in which was well coordinated wine and prepared special menu items. A pairing of wine and food that was totally unmatched!
The flavors of the cuisine met the welcoming entry of the wines with explosive unification that made you feel as if the chef was also a wine maker. Talking about a foodie ’ s heaven! For those who enjoy great food, wine and pairings it couldn’t have gotten any better than this. Point blank.
With 5 stars it’s just too little. I would just go ahead and throw in the whole universe. I will be back!

I love the location and the atmosphere of this sushi bar. There are two issues that go along with it but one is remedied by the liquor store next-​door.
They do not serve alcohol unless you bring it on yourself.
They ran out of major fish on the Saturday night like yellowtail, whitefish, etc…
The portions were decent but we’re not larger as normal. But the fish is all fresh.
The waitstaff is amazing and really adds to the ambience of the little restaurant. It’s worth the drive

Great lunch! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and extensive menu of unique rolls. The Cajun roll is delicious, and the Jamaican Me Crazy roll is as tasty as it is original.
But the best part for me? All the gluten free options! And gluten free soy sauce too!
I will be back for sure!

Excellent sushi and friendly staff.
My husband and I along with our son ate here today and every item we ordered was great. I had the edamame appetizer and a combo with a lightweight roll and ½ largest roll. The ½ roll was the Jamaican me crazy roll and the flavors were spot on. Perfect meal. My hubby ordered the tuna appetizer and he and my son raved about how wonderful it was. We will definitely be back.
