Decent ribs and chicken. Ever-​changing menu and daily specials. I thought the fried chicken was good but could have used more spices. The ribs were ok. Not as tender as I would have liked.
I got a pint of gumbo for $ 5.99 and also the daily special which was hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob, biscuit, and a drink for $ 7.99. Everything was all right but that isn’t good enough in this day and age.
Sorry Ms. Jackson. I am for real. I apologize a trillion times. So know this, know that everything is cool. But I won’t be eating here regularly.

Mother Cluckers could best be described as inconsistent. I have eaten at this establishment on several occasions. Sometimes the food is good and portions are large and others the food is mediocre and the portions small. Last time I ate their the potato salad smelled like it had been stored with fresh fish. They have changed ownership twice already and it shows. The counter person when I was in last made me wait nearly 5 minutes to place my order so she could continue piecing together the two previous orders.

Needed something to have on the boat. Mother Cluckers right by Pass Christian Harbor. Fried chicken was excellent! Its a family run place under new management. Give it a try. Plenty variety and sides. Good people.
