Absolutely great shop. His incredible friendliness earns the extra star here on Unilocal, and my patronage for sure. Get your Turkish specialties here and while it may not be cheep depending on what you’re after, the quality is great and it’s greeted with kindness and knowledge. Turkish delight is great but ask him if he’s got the special one behind the counter with the extra pistachios, I like that one way better than what’s on the shelf. From pistachios to dried fruits, to fresh olives and as far as rice and grain to hazelnut spread, you’ll want to buy the place up. I love being so close and being able to scoop up a few things when I get a craving for cooking something a little different than the norm.

I love this market! Went in for an item and came out with an experience. The grocery store owner was so nice and personable. He really helped me to determine which nuts and dried fruits were suitable by allowing me to have a sample of some of the products. The prices were so reasonable that for tons of nuts, seasonings and some hazelnut pudding I only spent around $ 10. If you want to find Mediterranean groceries at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. Happy shopping!

After eating the fabulous Turkish food at the Pita House, you can step into this market right next door. Her you’ll find the authentic ingredients you need to try to recreate the delightful dishes that you just ate. Newly renovated, the store is now bigger and better. Be warned though, unless you can read Turkish your chances of making that Turkish dish you enjoyed so much are not very good, as the directions on all the packages are in Turkish and most of the staff, though eager to please, speak limited English.
