I waited about 20 minutes for under cooked fried chicken.

I really like this chicken. The macaroni salad is not good, but so what. Chicken beats KFC and Popeye’s by a mile.

The chicken here really is that good. It took about 25 minutes to get the chicken from the restaurant to our house, and it was still crispy. The skin is perfectly crisp and the meat is still tender and juicy. I can’t make fried chicken, but this is just like home made!

Yum this place has good fried chicken. It’s the closest fried chicken place to Fairfield that I thought was worth the drive during lunch. The reviews lured me in. It also has a parking lot which is good because it saves time! I can see myself coming here for lunch more. The chicken is nice and crispy. You can get combos or buy individuals. I got three drumsticks. I love drumsticks so much, they are so easy to eat and don’t have to break apart anything. The chicken was not so greasy either. Good spot! People are nice. I was in and out quick.

This was my first visit To Chicken Supreme. It was a lazy Sunday afternoon at 12:15pm. I ordered the individual 3 piece meal with rice and mashed potatoes. There is no music or televisions here. Although there were many tables available, I witnessed that most customers ordered to go which is part of inner city culture. Many other restaurants around here don’t even have a dine-in option. If KFC were to gobble this place up in the future, not much would change. The pieces are only slightly smaller than KFC but all food items tasted similar, even the biscuit. There was friendly services and the tables where nobody wanted to stay and sit were surprisingly clean. It was a good deal for $ 8.10.

Stopped in here to get a couple of wings to go alongside a turkey sandwich(brought from another establishment). Got in the car and tasted one wing. Immediately after tasting I got back out of the car a went back in to order 3 more pieces plus fries and a soda! Forgot all about my sandwich. It’s that damn good!

Kentucky ain’t the only folks doing chickens right. Supreme truly lives up to their name, as far as chicken is concerned. Someone at this establishment(which has been around for years) has tapped into some of the key spices at KFC, but has done it with more flair. The chicken is amazing, and 98% of the time, it’s FRESH. The downside? It’s pretty expensive for a place that caters to a less-affluent crowd. It’s in the heart of the inner city, but has prices that are a tad impractical if you’re trying to feed a group of people. $ 20 basically only gets you a bunch of chicken, and not much in terms of sides. But I suppose the higher costs are due to the quality of the chicken itself. As other posters have written, the sides are nothing that will curl your toes. Just very basic mac & cheese, mashed puhtayders(probably from a box, if you ask me), and fried okras which are my NEMESIS. I mean, okras are just entirely slimy… But I digress. I come strictly for the chicken, which is excellent… And that’s only when I know I have a little extra chicken to burn. #HoodSlang #ChickenMeansMoney

If you want the best crispy fried chicken you’ve ever tasted you need to venture down to Chicken Supreme. Their food is amazing! Their fries are so tasty and who can eat fried chicken without them? My daughter loves their chicken nuggets and their prices are reasonable & affordable. They also have great side dishes too such as corn on the cob, okra and corn bread. I love their food and eat it quite often, whenever I’m craving their crispy breaded fried chicken and french fries. Don’t forget the ketchup. Absolutely delicious!

The best fried chicken. Beats KFC and Popeyes for sure. The prices are great, too. The customer service in person is awesome as well. One of the employees helped carry our tray of chicken for a family party to my car. The customer service on the phone though is a bit tricky due to a language barrier. I have been a customer of chicken supreme for as long as I could remember. Never disappoints.

Oh my goodness that chicken is some good stuff! Consistent and organized! Great staff! Great for parties and I hear the owner gives back to the city! What more can you ask for? Highly recommend to others. The place just smells good too!

Great place to get fried chicken in Paterson. 1) The fried chicken is good. 2) The food is cheap. 3) They have a private lot in an urban area.

Always fresh, always efficient and everything I have tried has been great! This place is consistent if nothing else. When you walk in the smell is yummy and it makes you wanna order everything. I have know of this place for years it’s a Staple of the area. I think it’s a bit pricey for a fried chicken restaurant but I also don’t mind considering the quality and efficiency of the place. Of all the fried chicken places in this town this one is by far the best in taste and quality.

Back in the day… When my grandmother use to take me here after church to order the entire family chicken. It was great back then but I went there back in Feb… And I had to return the damn chicken in the snow storm… WTH … That chicken didn’t look good at all. The cashier not the owner had the nerve to give me attitude. I will not return…

Honestly because of the location, I underestimated the place. Overall it’s pretty clean, and the food is always served hot. I usually order the chicken sandwich and fries meal. The chicken patty is always crispy and the fries are always crunchy. I like eating here from time to time.

I was expecting this place to be reminiscent of Kennedy Fried Chicken, given the location. But surprisingly, the chicken here was closer to the fried chicken at the Brooklyn Bowl, from Blue Ribbon. The skin is very crispy and flaky, not at all greasy, and seasoned very well. The meat is juicy, not dry at all. And it’s a helluva lot cheaper than the Brooklyn Bowl. The restaurant is much cleaner than the other fried chicken spots in the area. The sides were pretty standard, nothing special. Definitely will return.

Very good chicken, some of the best I have had in the area. I went before they closed last night, and was very surprised to get extremely fresh chicken, it definitely did not taste like it was sitting there for hours. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was friendly. There prices were amazing, for under 7 dollars I got 2 large chicken breasts and and drink. The chicken is excellent, fried to perfection, it had the perfect crunch to it, and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. For fried chicken, it was not overly salty, and had and excellent balance of flavors, on top of all of that, the chicken was moist and fell right off the bone.

Chicken supreme has been a staple of the Paterson community for a long time. The chicken is great and the sides are pretty good too. Not the best chicken I’ve eaten but pretty good. The sandwiches suck, stick to the chicken and sides. A couple negatives are the owner acts like a real jerk and treats the staff like pions. Also they charge you for everything. Lettuce and tomato, cheese, everything! My only problem with this is you don’t know know till you pay. Overall they must be doing something right if they’ve been there that long.
