In a town where Pollo a la Braza is so common. Lena y Carbon is probably the best in north jersey. I have been come to this establishment for years and they have stayed consistent over the years

I don’t typically do this but being that I am Peruvian and it is absolutely one of the best chicken rotisserie chains in New Jersey, I had to post something about the woman who I heard on the phone today being just absolutely nasty and the worst customer service ive heard in a very long time. It’s a Colombian owned restaurant making Peruvian food which works but I am embarrassed that the people that are calling are being treated so nasty by the woman who answers the phone yet the gentleman that took care of me was just absolutely lovely. Very disappointing. And it’s such a shame because the food is good.

I ordered a pollo ala brasa it was just ok. I was hoping for better after reading some reviews on Unilocal.Maybe it was an off day. Will give it another try.

Food is ok, I had better if compare with griseldas or sabor de mi barrio… authentic Peruvian restautants… big problem with not accepting credit cards, had to pay more for ATM FEE, I GUESS DON’T WANT TO PAY FOR CREDIT CARD ACCESS BUSINESS FEE… too bad when your customers have to pay for this type of attention.

This is good place for peruvian food. l love their tacu tacu con bistek and the green sauce they give you is good too.

I love ordering from here, the only downside is they don’t deliver but it’s so worth the trip. I usually order Lomo Saltado or papa la huancaina, great food! And their green sauce is amazing!

I come here all the time. By far the BEST POLLO A LA BRASA. The Anticuchos are great too. Skip on the Ceviche tho. Jalea is good. Papa a la huancaina is okay (nobody beats la tia delia). Place is clean and the service is good. Parking sucks

The food is good they have a dish called el Classico which is half cevhice and jalea which is great but there down fall is they only take cash no credit and the services could be better.

Great food not only the chicken but the sea food is great 2 el mejor lena y carbon de new jersey !! better than chevere, el gordo, and the lena y carbon de passaic

The food is good so far. The only thing is the people who take orders by phone especially on weekends. They have to learn more customer service and give nice and right answers when a customer is asking about the menu that they have. I have a really bad experience about it when I called and I was asking for a dish and the gay answered me with «oh we are so busy now» like he doesn’t have time for me. Very nasty. And the other thing is they accept only cash which in not convenient for everybody.

Only tip I would leave them… is to close down before they burn you down !!!
I wish this app had negative stars to leave this review with. When you order their chicken… I think they travel to Peru to pick up there stock. I could’ve flown to another country and got faster service. It’s a JOKE!
