This commissary is a little small compared to the ones at the big Marine Corps bases I’ve been at. The selection is still nice compared to the outside grocers and the prices are way better than local competition. Wednesday mornings are the best time to go probably because the competition with with other shoppers is slimmest and the place is fully stocked still. A minor and insignificant annoyance is the weird, tight entrances and exits that require your cart to be lined up on approach.

This commissary is significantly smaller than Andrews or Meade. It’s closed on Mondays(and was closed on Tuesdays because of furloughs). On the weekends, the shelves can get empty real fast, so get there early or shop on the weekdays I don’t really like their produce. It kind of interesting that they have some household items(eg bulbs, paper products) that’re cheaper than the Exchange. Overall it’s okay.
