This review is for the Apartment rental on this facility. My husband and I booked a weekend at Solomons Island for the weekend of March 11th, 2015. We booked two apartment rentals. One, two bedroom and one, three bedroom. We were a party of two families, one, 2 adults one child & the other group was a group of 5 adults one infant. We were told when booking that the rooms did not come with a pull out couch and all of the rooms were seperate and private rooms. We checked in late Friday night on the 11th. Upon arrival to our rooms we entered the two bedroom first. Which happened to be the apartment my husband, child and I were staying in. Our two bedroom was clean presentable. Most of the outlets were covered. We understand for safety issues, but we had move the whole bed to plug in vaccums to clean, or plug in our computers for work ect. Our bedroom off the kitchen did have a door. We were happy about the door. The one set of blinds in the bedroom off the kitchen did not shut out the light or privacy close enough for privacy. You had to push the blinds stick a certain way to at least have it shut, partially. The kitchen«inventory» was off. We did not have any wine glasses in our room, no peeler, per the inventory. one of the bedrooms in our room did not have a heater. The three bedroom was clean. The bedroom off the kitched had no door! The hallway lights did not work, the blinds in the kitchen would not come down, not enough outlets for all individuals staying in the rooms. One of the bedrooms had no wall heater so the baby and my sister in law were freezing. Our main issue Friday night. We were booked into Apartments 10, and 12. The neighboring apartment 14 was having a party. At one in the morning my husband and I were called by our in laws to call the police since they were bagging on the walls. We looked at our paperwork and there was no number on the forms we signed for the PMO. My husband had to leave and go to the entrance to go report the people. The police came and left. The people continued until 5AM. We went in the next morning to complain. Our number was given to the manager and told she would call us. I ended up calling later Sat afternoon and spoke to a woman named Kurvanna. She transferred me to the manager, advised me she was on the other line and it might be a few minutes. I can hold and all three minutes and 15 seconds later she came on the line and said manager was going to be a few more minutes and if I wanted to continue to hold. I told her yes I did. I was on hold for another 15 minutes before the manager came on the line who is Joanne I told her the issues and then she placed me on hold again. After another five minutes the girl at the front desk came on the line again. Her name again is Kurvanna. Who was very courteous. We asked her if we were able to get at least some sort of credit for my in-laws not being able to sleep since they drove all the way from Massachusetts to see us. She said that her manager informed her that they did not do that. I informed her we did call the police and they came by but the people continued. She advised us that it was not the fault of the hotel but PMO for not doing anything. We also asked her about the door missing in the bedroom for the 3 bedroom. She stated that it is completely normal and that the apartments that are attached to the kitchen do not have doors our apartment for the two bedroom did have a door. At the end of our conversation which lasted about 21 minute conversation nothing was handled. The three bedroom should not be considered a 3-bedroom when it does not have a door for privacy for the individual staying with in that room. The form that we had to sign to stay there stated that the quiet times were from 2300 hours until 8 a.m.. It is this establishments responsibility as well as the personnel employed to ensure that people staying in these apartments abide by these rules. If this facility requires us to maintain the property and clean it before we leave by posting a note on the fridge that states we are«required» to clean and gather linnens. Should they not adhere to the policy that they require us to sign or is it just a suggestion? I am also now terribly upset by the fact I was on hold 21 minutes, spoke to the«manager» for all of 15 seconds before she put me back on hold. She then did not even address me personally, but had someone at the front desk attempt to solve email to a problem she could have resolved at her level.
