My Daddy’s Pizza & Grille

I am really disappointed with My Daddy’s Pizza. The ordering on their new app has been a nightmare despite the owner saying that people have been giving it rave reviews. Honestly, I haven’t been giving it rave reviews and have yet to be able to successfully order using it. I have already given them 3 tries and after the last stressful order I am done. After all, it’s pizza– who wants to be stressed out trying to order pizza– on a Friday night. Not me!

Delicious pizza and chicken fingers, with great prices. The drivers are always professional and very pleasant.
Sometimes the pizza does seem a little too salty to us but hopefully that will change. Overall glad to have this spot in our neighborhood.

Decent Greek salad with the addition of chicken, So-​So eggplant parm sandwich,
Decent meatball calzone with mushroom and peppers. Meatball could taste better. Combination Pizza not bad. Doughy pizza crust decent but not outstanding. Last delivery was 40 minutes. As for eating at the storefront, ok, not appetizing, no facilities, snappy staff, slamming and banging, not polite or kind. Huffyish. Grill, counters, pizza ovens could use a major cleanup and polishing. No cans of soda, only 1.95 plastic bottles. Convenient for them to bill out an extra 1.95, when you don’t need all that soda. 12 ounce cans are more appropriate, if that’s all you need for soda. Clean your faculty, as the food tastes «less» good once you see where it’s cooked.

We tried this place because they sent us a flyer… And Never again! The wings were boring and not breaded, no salt and dry. The pizza had a weird taste like it was bad or it was frozen pizza. We were VERY disappointed. If it wasn’t because I would have had to leave my house I would have returned it. Not to mention the delivery took an hour!

I like My Daddy’s because they’re one of the only places who will deliver solid pizza on the East Side of Providence. I have never been there personally, but haven’t been disappointed by my pizza selections. Their fries/​onion rings are always super yummy! I think next time I’m going to ask for them to cook my pizza for a few minutes longer as I typically like my dough more on the well done side. You can’t go wrong — and the lady who answers the phone is incredibly nice!

Amazing pizza and calzones. And I mean amazing love it. And they deliver Right on time every time. The place does look a bit raggedy but that little girl I always see working the whole kitchen is amazing and overworked she needs some help. But leave her on the ovens so good

Not the nicest looking establishment around, but it’s actually an enjoyable meal. Prompt service, fun and friendly staff, solid food and good prices. If you go in, snag a cheeseburger club or chicken club. Best of the menu there.
The pizza was good, but I have one minor critique: Far to much Salt. Cut back on that and the pizzas are wonderful!
I would recommend this if you are in the area, not as a final «end all, be all, amazing» stop.

Delivery service quick and and extremely friendly, with that being said you can no longer get a good pizza in Rhode island. The closet to true authentic pizza is Jennettes on Branch Ave.

Bragging rites *****HOT Wings”” plenty of sauce, meaty, explosive. Trust me, there doing wings right. Salads and sandwiches are well presented and portioned.
Next time call My Daddy’s, you will be well fed.

I give this an almost 4 star rating. I got take out because often I’m disappointed with pizza delivery, got the eggplant and roasted red pizza, was a little thicker than I like but I gotta say I was still pleased with it! I got curly fries, yum. But they forgot my dipping sauce :(but overall it was a good meal. It’s only 2 blocks from my place so that’s a bonus! I felt like I cheated on Antonios though! That’s my go to place but if I’m gonna cheat at least it was worth it.
I will be back, u gained my take out business!

There motz sticks are by far the best and the people that work there Are always friendly and nice. But everytime I order a pizza the dough is raw in the middle. And I feel the pizzas are quiet small.

It’s a hit or miss. It’s just a pizza place and it’s nothing to rave on and on about. I’ve had their pizza 3 times and once it was very good. The other two times? Pretty mediocre. As for the customer service? They are pretty bad at it and they are in their own little world. It’s a family business alright because if it wasn’t that wouldn’t be the case with their choppy customer service. Anyhoo, try them out before judging that way you know for yourself.

Ok so this was the second and last time we have gotten pizza from this place. First I called and was asked to hold, the guy put the phone down, I could hear him take other orders and figured I would be next but he proceeded to forget about me. I was on hold for 5 minutes. So I called back told the next person what happened. I understood it was busy, I get it but that was just poor customer service.
When I got there I parked on the street. I probably should have parked in a nearby lot because with the almost 3 feet of snow we’ve gotten in the past 2 weeks it made for less than ideal walking conditions. In fact, behind me was a giant gross sloppy puddle and in front of me was a narrow walkway that was in the snow pile not even down to the pavement. When walking in I chose the outskirts of the puddle. So I go in and give the guy my card and he says I don’t need to sign it because it was less than $ 20 now I understand that but the person can still write whatever they want in the box and charge me. So I told him that and he starts arguing with me about it. If that’s the case then just print a special slip that doesn’t give anyone a place to sign. I signed it, took my pizza and proceeded to my car. This time I went into the snow bank narrow walkway and promptly fell. Fun times at what has to be the worst named pizza joint ever.

Terrible. Buy a frozen pizza from the grocery store.
I ordered a large extra cheese, linguica, and mushroom. The pizza was undercooked. The center and the mushroom were lukewarm. The linguica was bizarre, it looked like the breading on buffalo chicken, just weird and not normal. They were nice folks there but this wasn’t good pizza. It was so bad I honestly would have returned it had I not purchased it with a Groupon. Sticking with Hope St Pizza for now.

I can only comment on the calzone, but I strictly judged it based on the official James Beard Association criteria for chicken bacon ranch calzone excellence.
The calzone met all the official requirements, meaning it was: a) extremely large b) extremely cheesy c) requires you to be near (or on) the toilet when you consume it. Get youself one of these calzones, and you’ll be calling My Daddy’s YOUR Daddy, if you know what I’m saying.

Friendly delivery drivers & they stick to the time frame that they quote on the phone which I appreciate! Pizza is just ok, not very cheesy and unexciting crust. The chicken wings are my favorite so far. My other half enjoys the grilled chicken wraps.

To say that we love My daddy’s would be an understatement. WE ARE CRAZY ABOUT IT. Whenever we order out, its My daddy’s. For sandwiches, Pizza, Pasta or if we just want to get fat and order a boat load of appetizers! Everything we’ve had has been just great. Not only does it never disappoint but every time we go, it’s somehow better than the last. The staff are wonderful, always cheerful and inviting. Pizza is our absolute favorite, the crust, the sauce and the cheese is just perfect across the board, add toppings and how could it go wrong. HIGHLY recommended.

I bought a Groupon for this place which included an extra large 4 topping pizza, garlic bread and a large order of chicken wings. We called ahead, were told that it would be 20 minutes, and then when I got there 30 minutes later, I still had to wait 15 minutes, and I actually heard the staff talking about my order right in front of me, so I knew it hadn’t gone into the oven yet.
I’m really on the fence about this place. As i stood there waiting, it was clear that the two people working were stretched pretty thin. The owner was doing the bulk of the work, and his employee seemed to have no clue what was going on or how to do anything. What I found a little upsetting was the fact that the owner was swearing and melting down while four customers waited to be helped. It was just really unprofessional, and I’m not prudish at all, but he needs to learn how to deal with the stresses of food service better. The inept employee served a woman who had come in before me two very burned hotdogs. Finally, his teenage daughter came in, and things started running smoothly. I got my take-​out order and left with it.
I was actually pleasantly surprised at how tasty the pizza actually was, especially after witnessing such catastrophe in the kitchen. Since it was an extra large pizza (cartoonishly large), they cut it into squares. Not sure if they do that for all sizes though, but I would assume so. The garlic bread was fine, and bf said the BBQ wings were a bit bland.
Overall, I would recommend takeout or delivery. The pizza was actually surprisingly good, and I think I would order it again even though the diced tomatoes were clearly from a can – the price is certainly right. The dining space inside is really small and the kitchen is right there, so you leave smelling like a grill. To My Daddy’s, I would recommend reducing the size of your menu. They have pizza with about 30 topping options, a full repertoire of grinders, salads, spinach pies, appetizers, pasta – it’s just too damn much, and I feel like looking all those options, unless they’re doing huge business, most of that isn’t going to be fresh. It seems too like it would be easy to get overwhelmed, which they clearly were when I stood there waiting.

I noticed the delivery cars driving through my neighborhood and kept trying to figure out where this place was located. Then I saw it on groupon and had to try it. This place is on the Pawtucket/​Providence line, right by where North Main street splits and in between the Subway and Gold’s Gym, which is pretty convenient for anyone in the Summit neighborhood.
My groupon included an extra large pizza, 14 wings, and a half loaf of garlic bread. I was pretty impressed for the price. The wings were hot and the blue cheese it came with were of a nice quality. The garlic bread was buttery and toasted. But I have to say I was pretty impressed with the pizza. For the price, its an outstanding value. The sauce wasn’t too sweet, the crust was perfect — none of that greek style pizza nonsense — and the cheese was of a fine quality. I had a pepperoni pie and it wasn’t too greasy. The toppings were almost hidden in the amount of cheese, which is just how I like my pizza.
For a small, local joint, this is going to be my new go-​to location. The staff was super friendly when we came in and really nice on the phone, too.

Staff is extremely friendly and outgoing. I’ve had My Daddy’s deliver to my place several times, and its always been delivered within 30 minutes, which is great!
Pizza is not so great. Lots of Italian seasoning, toppings slide right off and dough is definitely on the tough side.
Steak and Cheese grinder was awesome. They loaded it up big time; couldn’t believe how much they put on! I’ve had the chicken cutlet and buffalo chicken subs as well and they were good.
I’d definitely recommend this place to someone looking to pick up a sub but I’d stay away from the pizza.
Also, I can’t say it enough… Staff has always been EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. 5 stars for customer service!
