Bless phở horn’s heart. Such good phở. Also the scallion pancakes oh lawrdy! After a long day. Or even a short day! Phở horn hits the spot. Do yourself a favor and stop by for an XL bowl.

Best phở in RI! Anyone who says otherwise is a straight up liar. World class, fresh food and extremely friendly staff.

Once in a while, a dish in a new(to me) restaurant is so good, I have a problem ordering anything else on return visits. That happened to me at Phở Boston in West Hartford when, following a Unilocal reviewer’s advice I ordered #89 Salted Caramel Pork. We’ve been back many more times since and that’s my dish. I fear the same thing is about to happen at Phở Horns. I came on the recommendation of my daughter and ordered the salted shrimp. It was exquisite and it may be hard on return visits to sample the rest of what looks like a really tempting menu. My husband ordered a vermicelli dish with shrimp, pork, and spring rolls which is a category of Vietnamese dishes that I usually gravitate to and he thought it was really good too. The only reason I did not give 5* is that service was spotty although, I hasten to add, very friendly. I sent back a beer because the glass was dirty and was charged for it until I asked for a correction. Also, a waiter took my dessert order but did not clear main course dishes and when dessert arrived(after the check arrived) I still had to request to have lunch dishes removed. Still all servers were courteous and these minor glitches will absolutely not prevent me from making what I hope will be many return visits. The food is great! l Oh, and the prices are very reasonable. My dish came with 9 good sized shrimp for about $ 14.

One of my faves! The phở is the best I’ve ever had! The bun is also my favorite. A real gem on the Providence Pawtucket line!

Phở is great! Probably the best in Rhode Island. I actually would recommend the Phnom Penh style with rice noodles! Good Vietnamese dishes on the menu and lots of variety and options. Some of the service is excellent! There are a few workers that don’t check up on you and take a while to refill the water or drinks.

So happy that we discovered this easily overlooked spot! The food is always delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. It’s busy on most any night of the week.

The food is just delicious. I am a frequent visitor of this establishment and I am obsessed! The phở(any variety) is my favorite but the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce is a must try too. Definitely is a hidden gem. If you happen to stubble upon here, do go in and satisfy your taste buds!

Phở. The perfect rainy day food. I always get the chicken breast and noodles rather than the beef… With extra jalapeños cause I prefer it spicy! The broth is a little on the bland side, but you an def mix it up with the hot sauce. The Buddha beer is always a fun addition. Service was fast, soup was hot, can’t complain!

This place was suggested to us to try by another Unilocaler. I had the Xe Lira extra large bowl. Beef noodle soup with steak, brisket, tenderloin and tripe. It was tasty, the meats were tender and had tons of noodles. I couldn’t finish the entire bowl in one sitting. We also had the BBQ ribs which were sweet and fell right off the bone. We’re definitely going back to try some of the other soups.

This place is a hidden gem in a strange little strip mall. It’s basically in the middle of nowhere, but it is so worth finding. The food is super fresh and so delicious. I ordered the beef phở and the ban hoi. We got the chicken version which was tender and juicy. It came with rice wraps and a warm bowl of water to soften them in. They brought a large plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime, pickled veggies and vermicelli. It was vibrant in color and very fun to make and eat. The soup was the perfect amount of spice with very tender meat. The noodles had a good chew to them. I would suggest eating the noodles with the soup rather than letting them sit and get softer. I will definitely go back and I suggest this place to anyone from or visiting RI.

A good place to get quick and easy lunch or dinner. I like the Bun Bo Hue, taste really yummy. The service a little bit rude and careless. Just a typical Vietnamese restaurant.

Wish i could give negative stars! Just came back from here and instantly realized that something was wrong. Rushed to the ER and was told I had food poisoning. My husband and I love phở and have visited here a couple times. We normally order the same thing everytime we go(chicken phở and spring rolls). Tiis time we thought we would expand our horizons. Bad idea. We ordered our phở as usual, spicy chicken wings, and beef teriyaki. My husband said the chicken smelled funny, but i figured it was just the sauce and massive handful of jalapenos. So we ate. Immediately after completing dinner i felt nauseous and felt overly hot. I advised my husband paid the bill and ran out to get some air. Once we got home i drank some water and started vomiting. Went to ER and food poisoning it was. Please dont eat here and if you do stay away from the chicken!!!

I’ve come here a lot of times with my boyfriend to eat their phở(#22 is my go-to) and I was always impressed with how the broth tasted. I never felt any need to add anything else because it already tasted delicious as is. The beef is delicious, the tendon is delicious, everything was delicious. Though, I’m not sure when it was but when I went back to phở horns, I noticed a difference. The prices have increased(but $ 1, I think) and the bowl and portion size felt different. I might have been imagining the bowl part, but phở horn definitely felt different. The broth was still good but it didn’t feel as amazing as it usually made me feel when I ate it. It’s still a really wicked place to come eat phở though. I’d say it’s the best place to get phở in Providence. Plus, the pan fried gyoza is delicious. Yum!

This place is all about the phở. I’ve ordered several other dishes here, but nothing compares to the phở. This is definitely a hole in the wall in a random strip mall with a random selection of wine and beer, but the phở is great. The service can also be a little slow and spotty, but the phở is great.

Just wow! Came here with a group of friends and we literally all ordered the same phở: #28. Hot and spicy, #28 was the perfect lunch to warm us all up. The noodles are thicker than the usual phở, but I quite liked the texture. There’s plenty beef and the shrimp balls add a nice chewy touch. The broth is wonderful as well: super warming and delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough and will hopefully be back very soon!

A hidden gem on the Pawtucket/Providence line, Phở Horn was totally worth the visit. There is a generous seating area so we didn’t have to wait. The menu is a good size and with something for everyone. We settled on the chicken wraps for apps, ginger chicken for dinner and washed down by a delicious mango bubble tea. The service was quick and efficient, which made it all the more enjoyable. Will definitely come back.

I’ve been to Phở Horns a few times, and the experience is pretty hit or miss. The lighting is offsettingly dim and a lot of the decorations look like they were bought at a party store. Most recently my waiter, while not rude or mean, was very cold and didn’t say more than four words to me during my entire meal. The most offensive thing, though, was the dead fly in my water. However, all of this can kind of be forgiven because the phở is excellent. The food is honestly the best aspect of this restaurant, and this is the perfect place to go with a few close friends on a Friday evening.

Girlfriend and I just moved to Pawtucket, not far from this place. We figured since we frequent the Ocean State next door, we would give this place a go. We were not disappointed! Their beef noodle bowls are insane here. Huge portions, fresh ingredients, well seasoned, and most importantly, not over salty(huge plus for soups). If you are starving, you won’t leave this place feeling cheated for $ 11. Full stomach and a full wallet afterwards. Only reason I am giving this place a 4 and not 5 is 2 small reasons: 1. The service here is a bit off, but I didn’t expect much considering it’s just a small Vietnamese place with a low price. However, I do feel that people should have not to wait 5 – 10 minutes before someone just asks if we want some water. As well, I don’t feel like anyone should have to wait 10 – 15 for 1 water refill considering the glasses are small. Not the end of the world though. 2. The staff should be able to distinguish between Jalapenos and Habanero peppers. The both has very distinctive levels of spice and taste. I did NOT enjoy my mouth being destroyed half way through my meal, finding out I placed fresh Habanero peppers seeds and all in my soup, and not Jalapenos.

Ok here is the skinny on Phở Horns. It is so mind blowingly tasty. I have to admit the location could be better… its in a run down strip mall next to a Chilis that looks like it has had better days. However it is so worth the trip and here is why… The Phở was fantastic. I got the one with beef and lemongrass. First spoonful danced around on my tastebuds and made them so happy with just the right combo of savory, acidic, and hot. I love the onion, beef, and shrimp balls. They also give your all the traditional fixings like beansprouts, thai basil, jalapeños, and lime. Honestly most places I find myself adding lime, hot sauce, and whatever I can find to give it umpfff. But at Phở Horns today all I added were some bean sprouts, a little thai basil, and a squirt of lime and I don’t even know how necessary that was. That is how good the broth is! We also got the nime chow with a delicious peanut sauce and some bubble tea which had nice balls. Ok so I guess my rant is over now. Over and out.

Amazing broth. I’m kind of a phở addict and I’ve had phở from a lotttttt of places. This one is top notch. I took away one star for the ingredients though. Meat was very tough and there was literally 1 small strand of tripe in my phở dac biet. No meatballs either which normally comes in the specials. Oh well, the broth itself was worth it!
