Ok, I read the other reviews of Ramon’s and I agree that there are a few issues with the place but follow these guide lines and you will enjoy. 1st. Pick up, Do not have delivered. It will take at least an hour. Also ad about 15 minutes to the«pick up in 20 minutes». 2nd. When you pick up, don’t let the funky interior put you off. But do check out the Jesus hologram on the wall. Perfection. 3rd. If made the mistake of having them add sauce to my calzone and it was pretty soggy, so keep extra sauce on the side. So, I would recommend the veggie calzone. Lots of fresh ingredients and a delicious sauce. My friend loves the mushroom pizza but I haven’t sampled that. Bottom line, it’s not the best pizza. But it’s fresh, convenient and they are local ya’ll.

Expect a wait and overpriced menu. I have ordered from there a buch of times. Always a long hour or two before I get my food. Ramone is convinced he doesnt have to change his recipe. I will never order from there again. Expected a change eventually but this is the last straw. You lost a customer and word of mouth will get around quick. Get better ingredients and service. Thanks.

I tried Ramon’s when I first moved to the neighborhood. It was decent pizza at a fair price, delivered in a reasonable amount of time. As a result, I was surprised to see such negative reviews on Unilocal, and gave them another shot. This was a mistake. It appears my positive first experience was the exception and not the rule. When I ordered, I asked approximately how long it would be, and was told 30 – 40 minutes. An hour later, the pizza arrived, and it was not as good as I remembered. I will not be ordering from them again.

I live a half mile from Ramon’s, and pick up there usually once a week. I typically get a pizza pie, but sometimes get a gyro, or club sandwich. With every visit, I’ve never thought the food was bad, or the service. Those experiences, and their low prices, have kept me coming back on a weekly basis.

Wow. I’m appalled. And I’m not even that picky when it comes to pizza… give me crust that’s not soggy… give me sauce and cheese that doesn’t make me sick and I’ll at least give you two stars. Ramon. No me gusta! First of all Ramon, the pizza and calzone took over an hour and twenty minutes to arrive. By google maps estimates I could have walked to Ramon’s Pizza and back four times. When the food finally arrived the Calzone wasn’t even in a box. I mean, maybe it was a box before the grease pooled through the bottom of the flimsy cardboard rendering it a floppy rectangular sack. On top of that it was cold. The pizza when I opened the box was so unappetizing just on looks alone I shut the box and immediately picked up the phone. Never before in 27 year history of me ordering pizza have I EVER returned a pie… but this was just no good. Say you took a coagulated mess of cheese and poured hot grease on top. and then put that in a box and vomited on it. That’s kind of what it looked like. The crust was hardly visible around the edge of the«cheese». The pizza was so cold you couldn’t even separate the slices. This is pie you wouldn’t even eat if it were FREE much less having paid 26 bucks(pie and calzone) and waited an hour and a half. At this point I was no longer hungry, and mostly just pissed off that I’d basically tossed 26 bucks down the drain. I immediately called back and asked for a refund. They actually gracefully obliged my request and refunded the money to my credit card and sent a driver to bring the refund receipt. I offered him the soggy calzone and curdled pizza back. He told me I could keep it. «No I insist…» I told him. There was simply no eating it and I was afraid if I kept it around it might attract predators or something. Gross. Never again sorry Ramon.
