I have eaten there several times, and have tried different dishes each time and enjoyed them all. It is not the best I’ve ever had, but it is good enough to keep me coming back. The prices are good and the service is above average.

This place was decent. If you’re looking for some average Chinese food you won’t be disappointed. It was kind of disappointing to see so many white people working here… Chinese people are cooler.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while but was very disappointed. This is a sit down restaurant and the food was worse than a cheap Chinese buffet. I would give it zero stars if I could. I ordered the chicken salad with house dressing. It turns out that«house dressing» is just ranch from a bottle l, nothing asian at all and the waitress said thats the only dressing they had besides teriyaki sauce from a bottle. The dish looked good but at the bottom of the salad was almost an inch of water. It was dripping down my chin. My husband got the teriyaki chicken combination meal which they charge extra because its teriyaki(which we know is just from a bottle). The rice was dry and old and the chicken was like chewing on rubber with freezer burnt taste. My son got the kids meal and the sweet & sour sauce was just splattered everywhere. I would not go there and would not recommend it. The price is a little high for the crappy food.

Did you change cook/chef? We used to come here for years but not anymore, not after this last visit. I’m not sure if they changed chef/cook but their food is def not good this time. –food, what happened Tsing Tao?!- The rice was not good they def put too much water. The string been chicken used to be fresh green beans that’s perfectly cook and crunchy but this time it tasted and looked like it was reheated 45 times. The beans are almost brown colored. The fried rice was gross and the Mongolian beef had some pasty jelly stuff which I’m sure the cook just forgot how to stir it well. The salt and pepper prawns, no comment. –extra fee– Four of us came here for dinner and they charged us $ 1.50 extra per person for«Family Dining» I would understand if there were 6 or more of us which is the norm but we were 4, seriously?! I of course still left a tip I didn’t feel like the server needs to be punished for this stupid new policy of Tsing Tao. This used to be a very good place for family dinner and lunch and food was reasonably priced and was really good. It was a total disappointment and there’s no way in heck we are going back here. It wasn’t a pleasant experience the food was just so bad. It’s so sad because this WAS our go to place, not anymore.

I was worried with only 3 stars but decided to give it a try. The food came out fast and looking and smelling great. Everything was fresh and hot. Lots of different veggies in the mixed vegetables. Not just the basics that was a nice suprise. I’d come here again.

First time in looking at the menu they have a great price for lunch special, 5.99 to 6.99 I ordered the orange chicken combo plate. Good food for the price better then most Chinese places in Salt Lake. Most Salt Lake Chinese places charge 7.99 to 9.99. The meal was good and the service was great. I would stop by again if in the area.

Won’t even give this place a 1 star, but because I can’t write this review without a star, I have to put 1. Will never support a restaurant that serves shark fin soup.

They have dramatically improved since I was last here. Honey Walnut Shrimp was tasty, and enjoyed the Ma Po Tofu.

Well, we have had better. In this area, this may be THE place, but I had to remove a star because consistently when we’ve ordered take out there have been mistakes. That being noted. It’s frustrating when the best Chinese in the area is Pei Wei or PF Changs(which I love). It would just be fun to have a consistently delicious and authentic Chinese restaurant in the area.

This place USED to be absolutely fantastic. I’m not sure if ownership changed or what, but the service is awful now. Portions got cut, and the flavors are all so bland now as well. We used to eat here at least twice a month but after the last few bad experiences, we won’t be back.

Went in to this place a little later about an hour before close. We were seated immediately and given menus. 10 minutes(not kidding) went by before we were even approached by a waiter. I ordered a dinner combination with egg drop soup, my friend did the same. Another 10 minutes went by and an older Asian woman came out and said(in barely comprehensible, broken English) «I’m sorry, egg drop gone. Hot and sour, yeah?» I asked her why we weren’t told immediately after we ordered and she essentially just said the same thing and added«because it gone, too many order earlier». I said, well then I’d like to change my order. She said, your food already cooking, sorry! I said that I ordered a dinner combination when I was under the assumption that there was egg drop. She still wouldn’t let us change our order. So I asked if she would substitute a similarly priced appetizer. She looked at me square in the eye, laughed and said«ha! sorry, we don’t do that» We opted to just eat the entrée and not pay for a combination. We get our food. I ordered the Orange Peel Chicken, my friend the General Tso’s Chicken. We decided to share half of each. The chicken and sauce was identical. The same exact breaded chicken and the same exact flavor and consistency sauce. The only difference is, mine had dried orange peels in it. Ok, whatever, the food was still ok. We’re done, the plates are clean. 10 more minutes go by(it’s after close by this point). We’re patiently waiting for our checks. A younger girl comes out with a pitcher to refill our waters. I said, oh no, that’s ok… check please. She looked at me, confused… I said, the check? Payment? I then had to make the sign of a square with two hands and said«money» and she was«oh! ok!». At the cashier, the older Asian woman again said there were too many orders. The problem here is they don’t seem to understand the basic principal of service. It really wasn’t about the lack of egg drop at that point. It’s the fact that they made nearly no effort to make it right other than to substitute a different soup that we did not want. Add that to the awkwardness of being unable to communicate, the complete lack of care by our waiter, the wait times and the totally ordinary food just made for a terrible visit. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve been watching the place slowly decline. After that episode, I won’t be back for a long time. Terrible service. I’m glad we have so many other choice for Asian food.

Oh my yummy! Whenever I need some Chinese food, this is my go to place. Their lunch specials are amazing. They come with an egg roll, fried rice, and a lot of food. I normally go for the General Tso Chicken and my husband really likes the Orange Chicken. Also the Crispy Beef is pretty dang good. Been taking my daughter there since she was 6 months old and it is very family friendly. Just off the exit so a great stopping place if you are on a road trip.

It’s a clean restaurant. The best in Payson I think. Their crab ran goons are really yummy. I love their egg drop soup. Best one in Payson too. Good service. Yummy food. I always get the sweet and sour shrimp or chicken. Their sesame chicken is really good too. I’ve had their curry too it’s good but I’ve had better.

One word, «ick!». Poor service. Had to ask for plates and silverware after food arrived. There were six of us and they only brought five plates and we were told to use one of the serving plates to eat off of! Food is boring. Maybe it is fine by Payson standards…

Never disappointed when we eat here. My family loves it and the food is always fresh. Service is always quick and friendly. As far as south utah county goes this is by far the best Asian food I have found. My new favorite menu item is the walnut prawns! They are a must try if you have not already!

We’ve been to this place twice now. To tell you the truth, it’s just ok. I wouldn’t recommend the curry dish as you’ll get something different than you probably expect. The spice mixture wasn’t really that great — it certainly wasn’t very Thai in nature(but it’s a Chinese restaurant anyway). The Mongolian beef was full of onions and light on some other stuff, which was fine, but the beef wasn’t the greatest flavor. At first I was unsure if I actually got the beef since the meet was light colored both outside and inside much like pork(and had the texture of pork), but the owner insisted it was beef. Well, it didn’t have that great beef flavor you look for in a beef dish and I was generally disappointed in the flavors of the food. The service was pretty good and the food was fairly prompt, so no real complaints that way. Also, the egg drop soup was great. Worth a dinner if you’re stuck in Payson, but not my favorite.

I went to Tsing Tao Asian Cuisine about a week ago and was very pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the food was served very promptly. I ordered beef and broccoli and it was very good. The beef was well cooked and seasoned and the broccoli was just right. The portions were all very generous especially given the cheap prices. I am surprised there was such a good Chinese restaurant in Payson, Utah. Major props to the owners and cooks at Tsing Tao.
