Meh. My chimichanga was soggy, and just meh. Their burritos are pretty good. I haven’t had much else there.

The food is always delicious, and lower priced than other places that aren’t that good. I love to stop and grab a breakfast burrito. They are huge and taste amazing! Ask for a little salsa inside, so you can eat it on the road.

good food, usually. go through the drive thru, or you might not eat there. Dirty inside.

Great food and great service! Prices are not bad. Best fried beef tacos and beans.

They need to cut back on the salt level of the Carne Asada dishes. I’ve tried two different ones and found them way too salty for my palate.

I’m passing through town and was hungry so I stopped off here for a quick dinner. I had the Vegas burrito and it was delicious. It was made in a timely manner and the portions were very generous. I’m glad I ate here. There are a few things keeping it from being a five star review: 1. The dining area’s garbage cans were overflowing. 2. There were two dirty tables that were not cleaned up during my twenty minute stay even though the employees were available. 3. There were a couple of food spills on the ground that needed to be mopped up but had only been swept. One was by the south door that leads to the patio, pretty visible. 4. My chair had a nail/screw sticking up through it and it ripped my new pants. The shift manager did come over to apologize but didn’t offer to pay for the damage. After I finished eating I approached him and asked what he was going to do about the ripped pants and that’s when he called the owners and then offered to refund what I paid for them. Kudos to them for doing what’s right. I warned him that I saw another chair with a nail/screw poking through. He removed that chair also. I would definitely recommend this place for the delicious burrito and the salsa bar. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

This place was really good a few years ago, we used to eat there at least once a week(chicken taco night was the best). They started to go downhill. The food was less consistent, the prices went up little by little, and it almost seemed like they were using larger tortillas in order to keep the burritos the same size without as much filling. Stopped going there altogether. Finally tried it again a week ago and it seems like they made some improvements(although it was always hit and miss). Even offering free chips and salsa to the table. I wonder if they are just getting nervous now that Betos is opening shop in town?

Yummy!!! This is definitely the spot we will come for Mexican food. I am from AZ sand we have taco shops on almost every corner. I have stopped two other places when here to visit family and this is well worth the 20min drive from my grandmothers house.

I had no expectations so there was nothing to be met. I’ve been to many taco shops so I know what they are all about. Don Chuys was every bit or even better than some of the more expensive sit down mexican restaurants in the Provo area. The dining room was basic but clean. It was inexpensive and the portion size was larger than a mexican place I had been to the week before in S.F. I am still craving Don Chuys. I can’t wait to return.

1) SUMMERY: lots of food for the money but doesn’t taste great. 2) PROs: the burritos are large so I feel like I got my money’s worth. The tortilla was high quality. The girl working the drive thru was very kind and had a conversation with me while I waited. It didn’t take them that long to make. 3) CONs: It was not good. I tried the Carna Asada burrito and i didn’t like it at all. I wasn’t a fan of the quality of their meat and flavoring.

I love this place, and so does my whole family. Great food. It costs me about $ 35 for a family of 6. I highly recommend the carne asada fries!

This Places burritos are deffinately the best i have ever had portions are great cook time is incredible. The only complaint I have is that they only do minimal cleaning on the entire building. Their kitchen is clean but the lobby leaves some to be desired.

i have been looking for a decent taco shop. Don Chey does a great job. They had a cook for a while that put WAY too much salt on the meat but they have fixed that. fantastic food.

Decent food, but to be honest I’d rather have spent my money at the Taco Bell across the street. Was not impressed with the cleanliness.

They California burrito is okay. I had their beans and rice and honestly, it was pretty bland. If I ever go I just get the California. It’s pretty good most of time, the cheese is nice and stringy and the meat is nicely seasoned. BUT the meat usually always has a fatty part to is and you can taste and see the oil from the tortilla and everything in it greasing all over your hands. Blah!

This place is just trying too hard to be Beto’s, which is not a great Mexican place anyway. The service and food is fine, breakfast burritos are like every other drive through Mexican restaurant in the valley. Overpriced for what you get, nothing special and we won’t be back.

I’d give the food here 2 stars. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE little taco shops. This one just doesn’t do a great job on the eats. My beef rolled tacos were under cooked to the point where they were soggy in the middle, instead of crispy. The guacamole was so runny it was basically impossible to keep it on the tacos. The carne asada was sub par at best. The meat had way too much salt and that’s basically all I could taste. I ate about 1⁄3 of the burrito and threw the rest in the trash. I’m giving them an extra star because the salsa bar is great, the service was fast and friendly and the place was clean. I don’t think I’ll be stopping in Payson for Mexican food again.
