Drive by this place every day for a year expecting it to be a dive but it was delightfully pleasant inside. Warm welcome of light jazz to take away from the hustle and bustle of the morning. Very pleasant staff! My eggs were perfect and the pancake was huge. They use atomic coffee and that was all I needed!

I was in Peabody and chose the Café by it’s name! What a pleasant surprise, I’m glad I chose it! The place is clean, the food is fresh and tasted delicious… The gentleman was a pleasure to speak to, great service!!! I will go back with my family.

Went in to get yummy breakfast but left horribly disappointed and still hungry. Coffee was gross, my poor husband got the hash and eggs which he is pretty sure it was a couple days old and his eggs were overcooked. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel. Got a bagel with some eggs no sausage. Service was very slow to begin with so I ate a quarter of my bagel. How do you mess up breakfast this bad?

Went this morning for breakfast. Tiny storefront. More like a kitchen than restaurant. Got the corn beef hash and eggs. One lady running the place. Cooking waiting tables taking phone calls and getting rhe food out. Everything was good. This isn’t a place to expect top service. This is a throwback neighborhood place for the locals and the ocasional foodie.

The corn beef hash is unique and amazing. After I ordered it I had to defend it repeatedly from my wife’s sneaky fork. My wife’s popover was remarkable as well. Service was warm and friendly. Family owned and run The hash was so good I got some to go and dropped it off at my parents house on the way to the mall. Got a text 5 minutes later saying it was the best hash my mom had ever had and asking where Kismet café was. This will be my new breakfast place.

I found my new food destination. We got the eggs with corned beef hash, eggs with pulled pork hash and a tater tot casserole. EVERYTHING was home made and absolutely delicious!!! They have so many awesome things on the menu and the owners are incredibly nice. Loved it. I have now also tried the eggplant parm sub– best I have ever had in my entire life– as well, we have tried almost all of their cupcakes and they are amazing.

Just popped in for a coffee and ended up getting a muffin. Honestly, the best muffin I’ve ever had… I got the cinnamon strusel. It was still warm and had big chunks of apple. Coffee is very good too and owner was very nice and friendly. I’ll be back to try the full breakfast very soon!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning — best idea of the day so far! We were welcomed with a smile, served hot coffee promptly, and told everything was made fresh — no canned/processed shortcuts here. I had a short stack of pancakes with sautéed apples and walnuts and a side of tatertot casserole. My husband had a corned beef hash omelet with same side and wheat toast. It was all DELICIOUS! We’ll definitely come back to the Kismet to try other dishes(I wish I had enough room for a hot popover). If you’re in the area, give them a try!

Have eaten here twice and intend to repeat in the future. I was drawn in by the Fresh Popover sign. To be honest they had me at popover. It was delicious and the black bean soup and vegetarian panini was too. Exceptional in fact. My lunch companion also had a great lunch. The owners are very personable and the atmosphere is extremely welcoming. They make all their offerings and make all their imaginative and interesting soups. A real family owned restaurant gem in Peabody.
