I like the fact that this location has a gas station, and the price (with Stop & Shop Card) is usually the lowest compared to other nearby stations. As far as the grocery store is concerned, this is one of their subpar locations. Investment in this store over the years has been minimal, aside from the gas station that was built a couple years ago. The parking lot severely needs a repaving, and the interior could use some new flooring. However, if you want to get in and get out quickly, this place works. Yes, it’s more expensive than Market Basket, but it’s pretty much a super-sized convenience store for anyone nearby downtown Peabody.

East Falmouth, MA

Last night we needed to pick up flowers again and decided to stop in at this Stop & Shop location. When we arrived we were disappointed to see that they had nearly no flowers, and the ones that they had were starting to wilt. No one was staffing the floral department, and when we went to find an employee, the customer service counter stated that no one in the store could help us.
The staff was short with us, and was unwilling to find anyone who may be able to wrap a bunch of flowers. The shelves in the store were also not well stocked, and they had limited checkout aisles open.

Very pricey here I can get so much more for less at Market Basket. The produce here is expensive and not good at all you really have to pick thru to find anything that’s in good shape. Even if I run here for a few things I spend almost as much as a full week of food shopping at Market Basket.

It’s clean and always organized which is nice. It is a bit more expensive but almost worth it because it’s not nearly as crowded as other stores

pricey-er then the market basket, but less crowded then market basket.
it is a trade off. You can run in quickly and pick a few things up — that is close to impossible at MB.
As far as the crew here, there is much to be desired. Many are hard working, but most dont even acknowledge you when you are there in there check-out line as they continue to have their conversations in whatever language it may be. Oh, and they will tell you that your saver card wont scan, and then scan their own card.

Dude, it’s a supermarket.
It’s always been clean when I’ve gone. Yes, market basket is a little bit cheaper, but stop and shop has good sales and more sales if you have a stop and shop card.
They are placing a gas station there so people can actually use their gas points.
My only complaint is that the bathrooms have never been clean when I’ve used them, actually they have been disgusting
