Not a Corp venue for sure! Family owned small restaurant that is BIG on foodie style flavor. Nothing over the top price or style, but best darn food in PTC that I’ve had in several years. Took my 16 year old son & we were both very impressed & glad we tried this place.

So much love for this place and their awesome menu! Tough to find non-chainy spots in Peachtree City and this one is a keeper! We tried all of their flatbreads, which are truly the largest I’ve ever seen, and they were all outstanding! The Southwestern Chicken w/the avocado was my favorite. Nice wine selection and all local beers. Definitely check them out! The staff is awesome too!

Hello, I’m currently visiting my husband in Stone Mountain, GA. He’s here for work and I’m selling our home in California. We have a mutual friend who recommended«Grinds and Wines». Our friend lives nearby and had never tried it. Today we decided to try this«hole in the wall» restaurant. This place is AMAZING! They are a smaller restaurant, but absolutely worth the drive. We were immediately greeted and even though we were still waiting on someone. Our waitress immediately approached and asked for a beverage order. I wish I could remember her name so that I could acknowledge her specifically, and I apologize that I can’t remember your name. The menu was very diverse, which I love!!! It’s too rare these days to find a place that serve more than one ‘genre’(if you will) of food. We had a decadent appetizer, crab cakes. This was ALL of our first times having Crab Cakes and we ALLLOVED it. Our waitress came by our table at least 7 times, making sure that things were well, refilling our beverages. It was excellent customer service. I was a waitress before, so I’m aware a lot of service I’m getting as well as a feel of the establishment. I would have to rate the customer service here as the second best service I’ve EVER received in my life. We were asked if we’d like to see the dessert menu and we did. Unfortunately for other restaurants, they bring you your check before you’re halfway through your entrée, but not Grinds and Wines. I usually feel rushed when I get the check halfway through my meal, as though they want you to leave, and leave now. At Grinds and Wines, the food was great, customer service was excellent, not just our waitress asked us how things were going. On a side note, I have bruises on the left side of my body, most obviously a black eye. I got it in an accident and it was the first time since the accident that I wasn’t looked at like I’m a victim of abuse or look at my husband like he hit me. That was very nice too! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. I know they’ll find something on the menu they love and they will LOVE the service! Thank you!

We adore this local business. It is one of our go-to spots for date night or when we have friends visit. Everything is delicious, but I usually crave the steak medallions and garlic mashed potatoes! The service is great, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. A must visit in PTC.

Pleasant surprise after a long day of working and driving then looking for a place to eat. Was heading for just some wings next door and some diners were outside and recommended we go in here for dinner. Glad we did!!! 3 of us have been working all week from Atlanta to Mobile up to Birmingham then a meeting in Newnan so running late, we really ended up here because it was close to the hotel. Small, quaint place, had a TV with a fire going– cute– and looked like a «classy» wine bistro so we gladly sat and got comfortable. Was greeted by our waitress quite quickly seeing we were exhausted and we wanted a beer so looked through a nice beer and wine list– and opted for some beers. I got a double IPA(Dogfish) — wow… Did that hit the spot! My buddy wanted a Guiness and he got a Colorado Dark beer that he loved and our other partner opted for a Bud! Served very cold and we all sat back for a moment after driving 5 hours and said a quiet ahhhhhhh. Got the menu which had a unique selection of appetizers, entrees, salads, and made our choices. We all got an appetizer so I opted for the butternut squash soup– just a cup but fantastic. Rich, yet buttery and just perfect. Highly suggest it if its on the board. I think it was a special for the night. My buddy go the lettuce wraps — which were really quite generous in size– a bit larger bites of chicken than PF Changs– but a great Husain sauce and lots of lettuce-and they were really tasty. About 6 or $ 7 and well worth it. Our other guest go the brushetta– which was really a HUGE plate of perfectly toasted french bread slices and fresh tomatoes, lettuce, freshly graded parm cheese and balsamic vinegar to dip it in. Very good– Got a second beer each and ordered our entrees. I opted for the Trout Almandine with veggies and mashed potatoes with bacon. It was a very generous portion– light buttery lemon sauce, with tons of toasted almonds. It was fantastic. !! I’ve been eating meeting subs and late chain food all week and this hit the spot. Loved it! My buddy got the dinner spinach salad since he had the lettuce wraps with a ton of chicken and it had a ton of bacon(requested) and he was in heaven. Our other guest got a Filet, MR, veggies and taters and it was probably the best steak any of us had all week — perfectly cooked and presented. This was to me the perfect place to relax, get a great meal, a great beer or wine(most were drinking wine but we were craving a cold beer) and we could not have been more pleased with the choice considering all we passed on the highway to get here. It was clean, all the staff was very pleasant, service was impeccable and we loved it. I will come back here next time I’m in the area just for the atmosphere, comfort, food quality and selection. Well managed and hats off to the chef and staff. Thanks for a great night!

Absolutely delicious! We had the option to eat outside or inside. There weren’t a ton of tables, but we only waited ten minutes on a Friday night.

One of our favorite places for a date night. We always get the same server, and while he doesn’t remember us, we remember how hard he goes out of his way to ensure we have great service.

This is a neat little place. I got the tuscan chicken sandwich and it was really good, i love the bread here. They have a nice selection of wines, although a tad over priced in my opinion.

This is exactly what a restaurant should be. I have to admit that I was lured in by the wine bar designation, but was not impressed by the selection of reds by the glass. There were a couple of whites worth ordering, so that’s where I started. As I explored the menu, I found an wonderful beer selection and a really interesting mix of food options. The food itself was fresh, inventive and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy yet casual and perfect for dinner for one or with friends. And the service was absolutely amazing. What else is there to say. As a wine geek, I wish they had better options on the wine list, but I can’t judge a restaurant by that alone. Every other piece of the experience was outstanding and they earned all 5 stars.

Good food, great atmosphere, but not great service. Service is not very knowledgeable, but we always get the same awkward blonde guy so we will go again. The food is Great for the area!

We love Grinds and Wines. Food is always great. Food tastes very fresh and always served with a smile. Love this place. Now for the atmosphere. Ceiling needs repair and is very noticeable. Our biggest issue with this restaurant is that the windows are facing west and there are no blinds to block the setting sun. Time and time again we see other customers covering their eyes due to the sun coming in the windows. We love this place and the sun will not prevent us from coming back, because the food is great, but we do know where to sit to avoid the sun blinding our eyes. 5 stars for food and service. 4 stars for atmosphere.

Probably the best meal I’ve had in a year was here! The stuffed chicken was amazing! The portions were definitely for two, but on this particular occasion I ate the whole plate at the restaurant. I highly recommend!(Atmosphere is unique too!)

Unexpected. That’s how I would describe Grinds and Wines. This is the kind of place I expect to see downtown in a major city, not in a little strip mall in Peachtree City. The little lady and I were in the area and looking for lunch — we happened to spot Grinds and Wine and decided to try it(actually, we originally were going to hit the Tavern next door, but once we pulled in G&W looked much more appealing) Love the décor/atmosphere. Definitely the kind of cool local joint that should have a lot of regulars… I might be one if I didn’t live 40 miles away. We started with the Mediterranean Sampler — the kind of variety appetizer you’ll find at all the big chains that seems to always disappoint. But it didn’t here. They do not skimp on flavor here. The meatballs were excellent, the spanakopita was better than a lot of greek places I’ve been, the bruschetta was delicious, and the crab stuffed mushrooms were decent. We also split the crab melt sandwich — it would have been fantastic if it weren’t so dang salty. Love the avocados, perfectly toasted bread, and the crab and remoulade mix clearly had potential, but the salt killed it. Service was fine — not great, but not bad either. They were busy and only had 2 servers working — another table or two, and they would have been completely in the weeds.
