This is a local salon that feels like an trendy Big City of Atlanta hair salon. In their new digs, they have that trendy industrial feel going on but with big comfortable chairs and shampoo area. They really pride themselves in their knowledge of hair texture and complexity of color to give you natural or unnatural look you are seeking. I was fortunate enough to get to try it out on a discount because Stuart, who my excellent service was provided by, had offered up a very nice basket of hair products and a $ 100 gift card to the locally based Healing 4 Heros for their silent auction. And even though, it was a year old and didn’t get purchased the year before, he happily honored it. He did a great job of matching and enhancing my natural color and highlighted color and GRAY, to create an overall natural look. He cut my hair exactly as I asked, but then in talking later, he told me how he would have done it different to make my hair seem thicker. Can’t wait to go back and try that out. Each stylist sets their own prices based on their experience and size of client list/demand. But for regulars, they offer discounts.

I went in with thick hair and came out with a chopped up 3 layered cut! I hate it and I won’t be back. My experience was not relaxing either because I had to listen to the loud mouth owner talk about previous bad employee’s and customers that write bad reviews. They were even offering specials for the month for customers that write GOOD reviews on them. They said, if you write 5 good reviews on sites, like Unilocal, they would give you discounts on services and products. This really left a bad taste in my mouth, because I trust reviews and hope that they are honest. If you want a nice experience and a good cut, go somewhere else.

I have thick curly hair and I made a last minute appointment to get my hair washed and blow dried straight(no flat iron). The salon is very nice, great shampoo and personable staff. However, the person who was doing my service also had another lady she was finishing, which is fine, i figured maybe 10 – 15 minutes of inbetween waiting time. Well she washed my hair, took time to comb all the knots out, then left my hair tied up semi drying to work on the other girl, came back did my hair, etc. She left one period of time for a while and i think my hair dried out too much. She put in a lot of product leaving my hair greasy in the end. I felt like i was waiitng in mid service for way too long. They should have assigned me to another person. It was irritating. Then she put too much prodcut in my hair which was semi dry by that point. Hair is straighted best when it is wet. I’ve had stylists in altata that were able to give me flat iron hair with only blow drying it. This was not the case. because she waited too long to dry it out whiel she was helping another customer, she lost this opportunity. Then she had to flat iron it. A service that normally takes an experienced stylist an hour and 45 minutes too her almost 3 hrs. This is ok but they charged me $ 60!!! That is way too high for her level of work. You pay that much money when you leave happy and your hair is not greasy. Also i had to tell her to do touch ups. Very annoyed and i will never go there again. If you have non traditional straight limp hair dont’ go here. They seem to be good at coloring though. Not blowing out think hair.
