Average GameStop. Mediocre service and knowledge. Guy ringing me up threw me an attitude when I brought my return out and then quickly changed when I asked if there was a manager that could better assist me without getting irritated. If it wasn’t for me being in the area I would not have stopped here. Don’t think I’ll be shopping here again

It’s a good place to buy ps4 or Xbox one games and exchange them too. I miss the wii games though. I still like to play Mario Galaxy on my wii

There are two workers in there that know what they are talking about, one of them being the manager… Got a lot of wrong info from other employees. Pearl ridge has a good Gamestop!

The people at this particular store has no idea of what customer service is. The greasy haired kid at the register told me «I have to go to the other register.» He could have said, someone will be right with you, Ummm I don’t have to do anything but get the F out of there and bring my business somewhere else. He could’ve at lease lied and said my register is broken. They lost my $ 60 to someone else.

I think gamestop is a pretty good place to pick up videogames. I think they also cell iPods and possibly iPhones too. But the real reason I like this place is because of the great selection of used games. I recommend getting a power up rewards membership. You get points for buying games and merchandise from gamestop. And you can use those points to get free stuff from the gamestop. Plus, you also get a years subscription to Game Informer, which I think makes it a great deal. I gave gamestop a value rating of pricy, but that is only because they sell items like consoles. Other than if that you can find that one game you always wanted at gamespot

It’s a Gamestop, nothing really outstanding about this location except the fact that it’s in Pearl City where I frequent when I’m visiting my mother or mother in law. Inventory: They either have what you want, or don’t. And if you don’t know exactly what you want, don’t be afraid to ask for help. 9 out of 10 times that I’ve asked a question or needed help finding the, «right game,» for someone, they were able to figure out the game I needed. Customer service is good. They do greet you upon entering and ask if you need help. Thanking you when you leave. Lots of parking, I never have a problem finding a stall.

Located in the Pearl Highlands Shopping Center is GameStop. During the weekends parking can be ridiculous! I usually don’t even both circling the closer spots near Ross… I just go to the very corner in the very back and park where there are 20 open stalls. My BF and I made a deal… I go on an all girls Vegas trip and I buy him an Xbox. Freakin DEAL to me! lol So I went on this all girls trip in October… and he’s been having fun with his Xbox but he’s always looking for new games… whyyyyyy does he need new games when all he plays is MW3? Beats me! Usually we frequent the Pearlridge and Mililani locations but we were in the area so we stopped by this GameStop. Not the largest location but it gets the job done. A decent selection of new and pre-owned Xbox games, as well as PS3 games, Wii, and DS games. Plus the usual consoles, remotes, headphones, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are comparable to other locations.

As much as i like this place for the semi-affordable recycled videogames and the employee’s willingness to exchange tips and spoilers, we bought True Crime New York City from them like last month, and the game freezes once you reach the middle. They wont let us return it because it’s been awhile(because it took a month to get to the middle of the game where it froze). But they’ll give us that crappy deal where if we sell them a game we get a certain percent off a new one. Not good enough Gamestop. P. S. They also need to get a larger stock of game books because they never have the game books im looking for. You’ve got a better chance finding it at Jellys. **Update** I went there again with my brother in law to get some games and trade in two brand new ones we knew we didnt like or already had… two of which were still unwrapped and one of those had been purchased from Gamestop. We figured the trade in price might reflect that these games were in mint condition. Not so. First the guy told us he could not accept brand new games but if we wanted we could go behind the pillar(out of view of the register and the cameras so he doesnt get in trouble — good job for showing every kid in the store where to hide if they wanna rip something off…) and unwrap the game and then he’ll give us six dollars for it. A brand new $ 24.00 game! So we said never mind, we’ll just exchange the other games… and we did; effectively trading four bad games for one fighting game we really wanted. The trade in value was three cents over the price of the game we wanted, and the guy looked like he couldnt figure out what to do. We said dont worry about it, keep the change. The guy said No! I cant take your money! Like he was taking a public stance on our three cent tip we wanted to give him so we could just get the hell out of there. I said okay fine, give us our three pennies then. He said he couldnt give out money for trade ins. I was thinking WTF! It’s THREECENTS! I doubt he would have been in trouble for giving a customer that just traded four games for one three cents. So he said he had to load it on a game stop credit card but the machine was broken and he absolutely could not get it to work. I have now been standing at the register for over twenty minutes. The guy shot a desperate look at his manager who, instead of helping or offering input just shrugged and walked past him as if to say«Dont look at me, you’re fucked.» Ten more minutes later, it’s now been a half an hour and my brother and i stood there mildly amused whilst watching the cashier frantically swipe the plastic card which had to be worth well over three cents so he could clear the balance. I looked behind me and the line had gone out the door. The people behind me looked as though they were preparing to get their pitchforks and ropes and harrang the cashier fellow for being such an idiot. The balance finally went through, and the guy handed me the card. I turned to the guy next in line, who was now at full steam, and bright red. Before he could protest I plopped the card in his hand and said ‘keep the change, sorry it took so long!’ and ran out the door. You could hear his girlfriend laughing her ass off half down the block. Truth be told, fourty minutes is too long to take someone’s money and give them a game. I dont care what kinda freakin personal problem you have, take care of the customer first, let them leave, then fix the problem. And now that i am free from the torturous bonds of Game Stop, i have certainly learned my lesson. The next time i want to trade something in I’ll just go to Walmart, they’ll take anything. But i wont go back to Gamestop again.
