Unlimited pancakes! Need I say more? Well the pancakes come with eggs and your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage! The food was excellent! The pancakes comes with many different syrups like strawberry, blueberry, and regular! The food took a while to come out and the waitress took awhile to come out! But it’s mostly cause it was super crowded and I felt a bit bad for the waitress. They should really have more waitress or waiters. But still the food was so good, I will definitely come back!

Went there for breakfast, pancakes came butter was hard as a rock asked for softer butter came back still hard was told by another waitress had too tell her put it on the micro. Waited a while finally came back semi soft by now our omelet was cold. Asked waitress why there was so little coffee in the thermos was told only two cups well there was two of us.

Service was good and quick. Parking area a bit tight due to other business in the area. Pancakes did not have the buttermilk taste, while the smokey link was too salty and hash browns were burnt on the outside.

This was the first IHOP we’ve been to out in Hawaii. What an awful experience! As soon as we walked in, we greeted the host with ol’ big smiles and my 4 year old daughter greeted them with a «happy new year!». The host and several servers just awkwardly stared at us without a greeting in return. After an awkward couple of minutes, we were sat and almost instantly greeted. Although I forgot her name, she was in such a rush to get our orders! Before we could finish what we had to say, she was rushing off to another table. Finally she returned, and we placed our orders. From then, it took perhaps 30 minutes for our food to arrive. My daughters plate was just disgusting and not worth a penny. She ordered the kids plate«happy face» which was just awful. I couldn’t bare to feed my child that, so ended up sharing my food. Other than that, our food was neither good or bad. We were just so hungry by the time we got our food, we just ate. When we received our check, we weren’t told to go pay upfront so we sat around waiting for a good 10 minutes until we decided to walk up front. Just as a warning. an apple juice or orange juice is nearly $ 5 a glass so might want to rethink that. I wouldn’t come back!

First of all I would like to say that the food at this IHOP is great, kudos to the cooks. But the service was awful, our server name was lynel or something like that she didn’t introduce her self at all. So we get seated quickly which is great considering that there was a wait. But the wait to get greeted was longer then trying to get a table ! And once she finally came to us, there was no greeting of any sorts not even a «hello» She automatically asked us if we were ready and I told her I needed more time and she just walks away, at this time we didn’t even have drinks and we’ve been there for 15 mins. She was rarely around, it was just not a pleasant experience. And it’s been like this the past few times I have gone there.

Took way too long to be seated and for the food to come out. Had to send my iced coffee back for bad taste and when i got it back had to return it and just eat without it. The food was just okey, nothing great.

Just came from dining at this location, and I must say that the service received today by Samantha was not good. Sorry to say this server did not refill any drinks(which is standard servicing) as well as have a common curtesy check up. When the bill was ready to be paid the server failed to mention the payment options as customers who pay by cash must give it to the server. Customers paying by credit card or gift card may proceed to the front register.

IHOP can be a hit or miss location sometimes, but I still keep coming and hope for a hit. Hits: The ihop menu has some consistent winners(fried chicken dinner plate!) and of course all the breakfast items you’ll need. What I always look for is their seasonal specials. That’s where the action is! I haven’t had any problems with their coffee and haven’t had trouble with servers not filling up cups so that’s a plus. The location is good for me because it’s only a few minutes from home. It’s close to H1 exits and entrances so even if you don’t live in PC it’s pretty easy to get to. Misses: Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait to be seated and to get your food. I’ve had one experience in which they were out of what I wanted to order. So I chose something else and they said they were out of that too! It only happened once but was a huge miss for that particular visit. Overall, I’ve had good times and bad times here, but I love breakfast and will keep coming for it!

This was one of 3 places I ate out at while in port at Pearl Harbor during my deployment. It had been 7 weeks since my last port visit period and a full 7 months since my last visit to IHOP back home. When I found that there was a location just 4 miles from base it was a done deal! I was going to make a stop! Glad I did as it was pure heaven. I normally go to IHOP2−3x a month back home for my cheat meal splurge. That had not happened for a long time being deployed at sea. On this occasion and my first to a Hawaii based location it was a memorable and delicious one! I came in at about 945pm and found the place not very busy. I was greeted right away and sat down at any table of my choosing. Knowing I was going to get my go to item of pancakes was easy, what type was not. After some deliberation I came to the selection of a short stack of red velvet and short stack of choco chip. I also had to have the seasonal banana bread french toast dessert item as I had not had a real dessert in months. Within 10 minutes or so my food was out and OMG did it look amazing! I immediately knew this was worth coming in late for after a full day of hiking, tours, museums and a workout session. Despite my exhaustion this was so worth it! As expected the hotcakes to melt in your mouth BOMB! Moist, flavorful, rich, sweet, everything a pancake should be and then some! The banana bread french toast was surprisingly good for a guy who does not care for banana bread. The image in the menu looked too good to pass up and I am glad I didn’t! Super moist, warm with cream and maple syrup was a winner in my book. My server Raynalyn was awesome as well! Very kind, friendly, social and fun to talk to. She was happy to be able to serve me my first real good meal in almost 2 months and I let her know I was happy she could to! The look on my face while devouring the 3 plates of food made that clear. I polished off my carb mountain of hotcakes in about 30 minutes and found myself beyond satisfied, I was in heaven! My whole meal was under $ 20 and that you cant shake a stick at! This meal and this visit overall hit the spot and then destroyed it! I had no spot left to fill period. Just like back home in San Diego IHOP ceases to impress me no matter when or where I go. I have not ventured to the other items they are known for but until their hotcakes fail to deliver, why bother with a good thing?

I have been coming here with my family for four years and today, by far, was the absolute worst experience ever! Wait staff and hosts seem nice enough but food was not very good, coffee was served half empty and cold, servers were no where to be seen to get our coffee fixed, then, we had to have a floor manager assist us… Just a really bad experience… and the food wasn’t very well cooked or presented at all. Think this was it for my IHOP days in Oahu!!!

I like to eat at IHOP breakfast from time to time but this location is usually pretty busy. So, Thanksgiving day was a perfect day to eat here. It wasn’t as crowded. We were in and out within 1 hour. Yay! We got 2 of their combo breakfast with pumpkin waffle and caramel bon bon which I thought it was way too sweet. I like their buttery hash brown, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Today it was cooked just perfect. I also like their bottomless coffee even though I can’t drink more than 2 cups. Something about«all you can eat» makes me happy. I must say servers are always good and friendly every time I visit.

I needed those pumpkin waffles today. I needed them very badly dripping in pancake syrup with pecans and they lived up to my expectations. They were very delicious and hit the spot. Despite how many people were waiting outside, I got seated quickly. I’ve been here once before and it’s a good IHOP.

I found out that there was an IHOP in Pearl City a couple of weeks ago by mistake. Thank god because driving all the way to Waikiki for IHOP was starting to get tiring. The service at this location is pretty good. The staff is very friendly and professional and tries to do their best at serving the costumers fast. The food is also good. Wait can sometimes be long but that’s the case at almost every IHOP I’ve been too.

I think everything is extremely overpriced. The food is delicious, but I don’t think I will go back when it’s really overpriced. Service is great. Good for kids.

Breakfast on my mind! I love me some fluffy pancakes and a good syrup to accompany it! Their extravagant breakfast(dessert) always draws me in, but then it hits me after a few hours of inhaling the strawberry cheesecake pancakes, that I regret nothing, and I embrace the sugar rush that hit me a few hours after the meal! In all seriousness, the pancakes are good, and the effort that iHop puts into it makes it even better. Other than their pancakes, the rest of their items are a bit over priced. Pancakes all day for iHop! 4 stars is because of their amazing service! Most of their greeters and servers have such amazing customer service that it makes up for some of their bland food! They are very attentive and always acknowledge you! If you want breakfast served(as in given to you) the best way, come her and expect great service,(just don’t expect much from their bacon).

We had Chris H. as our server and he was efficient and funny. Food was good and the pumpkin spice coffee was good as well. I like the fact that they have more than the standard syrup and kids eat free EVERY night… not just Tuesday’s from 4 – 10. The menu has so much variety and the prices aren’t bad either.

Location/Parking: The restaurant is located in Pearl City at the shopping center next to Times and the Cattle Company. Parking fills up quickly during rush hours. Wait Times: Wait times are reasonable from 5 – 15 minute wait. Décor: The décor is modern and nicely updated. The environment feels inviting. Food: I had the crêpe combo; Nutella and banana crepes with 2 over easy eggs, 2 sausages and hash browns. It was delicious! The crepes were warm and gooey. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast combo that includes 2 eggs and hash brown. My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak. I love that a pot of coffee is on every table and that there are a variety of pancake syrup. My husband and I love the butter pecan syrup. Price: The dishes are reasonable priced from ala carte items to combo breakfast. The combo breakfast cost around $ 12 each. Overall, I enjoyed my breakfast here and will come back again.

So on this particular trip it just so happened as soon as we walked in the door so did the owner of the store… so you know service has got to be good. There was one party before us and the hostess had taken them to their seat so we were left waiting but then the manager of the store stepped up and said I will show you to your seat because that is the owner that just walked in. As we were seated I looked at the people in my party and was like this is gonna be the best visit we will have since we have been coming to this location. It’s funny how when the«higher ups» show up you have no problem getting excellent service. Right away someone came by and asked us what we wanted to drink gave our drink order and started looking over the menu. The menu looks a little different since the last time I was there so it took me a min to really see what I wanted. But by the time she had returned with our waters we knew exactly what we wanted off the menu. I wanted to try the new double dipped french toast I believe it is called? You can then add other items to the combo. I decided to add the eggs and hash browns to mine. To me I think breakfast should be one of those things that doesn’t take to long to cook but it did seem to take a little longer than normal or maybe I was just really hungry? I always forget to start my timer on my phone just to see how long our wait actually is to get our food. Finally our food came out our order was perfect. I couldn’t wait to try the new french toast I loaded it with syrup and dug right in. My first impression of it was the cornflakes on the toast were a little stale maybe? Or it just could have been how they were after being dipped in eggs and then cooked? Either way I really wasn’t a fan of the cornflakes on the french toast. Eggs were cooked just the way I like not to hard not to soft and the hash browns a perfect golden crunchy goodness. As I was going back and forth from the eggs and hash browns to the french toast I thought I noticed something on my plate. I did a double take only to discover it was a hair! Now at this point I am half way through my food. I looked at my friends and said I am done. This always seems to happen to me I go places and always find a hair in my food it never fails. They were almost done eating so I didn’t tell the waitress about the issue I wasn’t going to make a big deal out of it cause who’s to say it wasn’t mine? I just know it was a hair it was on my plate and some how managed to get under my hash browns or eggs not sure which in the grease on the plate. We paid for our food and left. Will I be back probably not? Maybe it was just a one time kinda deal with the hair do I want to risk it again no not really. I tend to take my food without hair. But on a plus side they do give military discounts haha.

I liked IHOP when they first came to Hawaii. The service was exceptional, food was comparable to Zippy’s and it was a fun place to go. Recently, it hasn’t been as fun. Today, my family and I checked in and was told there was a 15 minute wait. After 30 minutes, we went to check-in our status and found out our names were crossed out and eight other families were taken in after we were supposed to be. There was no apology. We were then seated in the back with an overworked server who wasn’t able to help us for fifteen minutes after we sat down. The table behind us had loud kids who had their iPod on full volume with the most obnoxious noises from it. The parents were oblivious to having common courtesy for others. Food prices went up again since our last visit. There were black bugs flying around our table. The servers there seem overburdened. The food quality wasn’t even that good. My bf’s BLT had frozen tomato slices in it(literally frozen solid). I don’t think I will be coming back here anymore, I will make the drive out to Denny’s in kapolei. This location just sucked the life out of me today.

Update 2÷13÷2015 I just received a lengthy phone call from the overseeing manager of all the Hawaii locations, he’s a cool guy. Anyway, they are now«aware of» or «monitoring» Unilocal!reviews for at least their Hawaii locations in lieu of an email I sent through IHop’s actual website. We may start seeing some changes at this location.. .they won’t be instantaneous but we shall see what happens. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – Original Review 2÷11÷2015 My experience here today was horrible, I didn’t come here for frozen, reheated food and that’s what we were served, absolutely unacceptable. Who uses frozen biscuts, and for that matter why?! I had better in Highschool which is pathetic, utterly pathetic, not what you go to a breakfast house to eat. My omlette also had these hard, rubbery bits of gristle in it. Never returning, I’d expect this from a shady back alley restaurant not IHop.
