«Rockland county sushi goodness» This sushi spot I have to say is pretty amazing! It is located in pearl river, Ny and it is about a good hour driving to get to this location, but thanks to my girlfriend that lives in new city(which is mins away from this place) I’m always up there and passing this place so she eventually took me here along with her brother and a friend. This location is pretty small but from the min you walk in you received a wonderful feel, a comfortable and relax feeling because of the setup and chill vibe. We made reservation and we actually came an hour earlier than expected and we were seated in less than three mins and the place was busy. «Umm wait you mean unlimited everything?» This place offers one price for unlimited set of dishes found on a sheet you would get if you choose the buffet style(for each person I believe it’s $ 26 dollars).you have plenty of choice to chose from, many types of different sushi, katsu, fried squid just to name a few out of the mix. Boy we ordered just about every thing on the buffet menu and they really came out fast with those orders and they not once messed up on our orders so that was really good to see! «Ice cream brick road» When we got up to this part the food kept us just right to let us taste dessert. We also ordered fried bananas with chocolate drizzle and a cherry on top, that was really delicious flavorful enough to want more(we ordered another one for good measure).the choices we had for ice cream were chocolate, vanilla, red bean, and mochi. Each ice cream flavor was amazing! It was soft and flavorful, deep down they hated us for ordering more! «Overall» This is a gold mine if you wanted check out some of the best sushi places in Rockland county! I’ll be coming her regularly

I’m giving this place a SOLID3 stars. I would return for the food and friendly staff, but I’ve had good and bad experiences. This place gets packed quickly, so it is essential to make a reservation if you are in a rush. I’ve been here on many different occasions. The special rolls are fantastic and diverse. Lately, I’ve opted for sashimi which is just okay here. All you can eat tends to be a bit stingy on the size of the fish when you order sashimi. The main reason I’m giving 3 stars is because last night the service was so awful, I almost walked out and left since I was in a rush. They forgot half of my sashimi order, my Kani salad, my drink, and forgot my friends utensils, and miso soup. We flagged down countless waiters asking for our order to no avail. I had to ask the same waitress twice for my Kani salad which came out after my meal. Overall, the food is pretty decent for AYCE sushi, but the service sometimes is not adequate.

Quick Overview: Food: B+ to A–(Considering that it is an all you can eat restaurant, it’s not bad. Not every choice is a winner, but stick to what you like and you’ll be fine.) Options: A–(They offer a fair amount of options.) Service: B Price: B+(The price is what you make of it. Be prepared to eat your fill, and make what you pay worth it!) Positive(s) + Decent quality Negative(s) — Potentially long wait times if restaurant is busy — Medium sized restaurant — it can get full fast. Tip: Go for the pricier sushi/sashimi selections to make your visit worth the price. I try to avoid eating«filler» foods and too much rice since it can be really filling. Don’t let your«eyes be bigger than your stomach.» Order an amount you know you can finish, and if you’re still hungry, you can always order more. I always have to set myself up for an all you can eat(AYCE) sushi place. These types of places are typically designed for quantity over quality. And in 4 out of 5 cases, I’m disappointingly right. But, you know what? I’m actually okay with this place. This is that 1 out 5. There are a decent amount of options, they’re pretty generous with serving sizes(and if you want more, you can always order more), and the flavors are okay. They also offer dishes other than sushi, such as tempura, calamari, salad, gyoza, katsu, miso soup, etc. Is it the best sushi/sashimi/yakitori/tempura/etc. I’ve ever had? Probably not, but I expected that coming in. The quality of the food is fair, it definitely hits the spot, and it satisfies my cravings. You order food by writing the number of servings you would like on their menu, the chefs prepare the food, and it is delivered to your table by one of the servers. Potentially, the preparation and delivery can take up time, especially during busy hours. If you’re like me, and want to stuff your face with as much food as possible before getting full, waiting for your 2nd or 3rd order could be the time that it takes for your brain to realize your stomach is full. I could do without the spicy tuna nigiri sushi — the flavor is decent, but the mashed fish has the same texture as the soft rice, so it’s difficult to differentiate once it’s in your mouth(I feel like I’ve been silverstoned… look up «Hey, Jimmy Kimmel, I Silverstoned My Kid“on YouTube if you don’t get the reference). Winners in my book are the seaweed salad(standard, but they give a good amount), the salmon sashimi, and the eel sashimi. Would I come back? Yeah! If I’m looking to eat my weight in sushi/sashimi, this is the spot.

Pretty good for AYCE sushi. Bring some time if you want to eat Nigiri or Sashimi as this is limited to 1 piece per order.
