Worst. Pool. Company. Ever!!! Do NOT use this pool company! We hired them to remodel/​update our pool and deck and nearly everything they did was messed up. They bent our fence, ruined our flower bed, broke some of the brick on the side of the house (which they replaced… however it looks like a toddler did it), broke patio blocks, broke solar lights, busted the top on my septic tank, etc. They were very sloppy and left a mess every time they were here. We have constantly had to battle with them at every turn. They have missed hooking up things and have hooked other things up wrong. Also, I had asked for a tanning ledge to be added. They added a 24″ deep kiddie pool instead. They ended up redoing it, but wanted to charge us for the new liner, when it was their mistake to begin with. They poured a horrible looking concrete deck which was holding water, sloping too much, had cold joint, not enough rock salt added in some areas, too much rock salt in others (looks like they spilled the whole bag in some areas). They attempted to fix the potholes where the concrete was holding water by adding a «patch». This patch did not fix the problem, just made it more unsightly. They also dug some tunnels into the concrete, to try to fix it, which will cause the excess water to run into our flower bed, thereby washing out any mulch that we may have in there. Their final solution was to paint it to cover all of the patches, sanding, etc.; however, you can still see all the mistakes. Now, after 3 months of dealing with this, they have walked off our job, leaving pipes exposed, dirt work not finished, and have NOT installed our $ 3500 slide (which we have already paid for, and which WAS included on our signed contract) and said they will not be back unless we pay them an additional $ 3500.00.

After receiving quotes from numerous pool contractors around the metro Jackson area (Jackson-​Brandon-​Clinton-​Madison) and fielding through their reputations, we decided to go with Paradise Pools in Pearl, MS for our pool repair/​redo/​makeover project. Our existing concrete decking was shifting, we needed a new liner, and our steps had a small hole in them that had gone unnoticed for over a year (I suspect our bad hail storm had caused the damage). Needless to say, it was A LOT of work and essentially like installing a brand new pool, less the «hole-​digging». Paradise Pools actually came in the cheapest at $ 22,000. All the others went up from there considerably (ridiculously would be a better fit) because of the amount of concrete removal involved and it all had to be jackhammered (no room for any machines due to our lot and landscape).
I can honestly say that for the first time in our lives that we had NO COMPLAINTS. Zero. Nada. Zilch. My husband and I are both in the construction field of service and through that, along with our own personal projects over the years, we know what a rarity that is in «contractor world». They showed up when they said they would and stuck to a very tight schedule. The gentleman who oversaw our job and laid the brick pavers was so meticulous about each and every detail, which we truly appreciated. He even showed up sick when they poured the concrete because he «wanted» to be there. The ladies in the store were extremely knowledgeable and were an immense help with our selections. I loved the fact that they had a backup plan ready incase the brickyard didn’t have our choice of pavers in stock. They were totally on top of their game. When the job was finished, they cleaned up all their stuff and left the pool immaculate.
All in all, Paradise Pools was a pure pleasure to do business with. In fact, we are signing a service agreement with them for all our cleaning anndchemical needs.
