Bought a Boudain kolache(regular no jalapeño) a little after 8am on a weekday morning. Got it warmed up. After 5 hrs or so, my lower intestines started hurting and I was visiting the restroom frequently, if you know what I mean. Could be a fluke but I’m not taking the chance of getting«sick» again so I won’t be buying from here anymore. Plus, the same kolache at M* Donuts further east was only $ 2 while this one was $ 2.50(and price was not posted on their signage so I couldn’t verify). I’ll stick with M* Donuts.

Good doughnuts, good kolaches, and good breakfast tacos! And you can’t beat the prices, a must try!

Tried this place one Saturday morning. Even though I love Shipley’s Donuts, which is only a few minutes away, I thought I’d give this place a try. Horrible service! I looked around for a few minutes, the place wasn’t even busy, and the one person working there didn’t want to help me. She didn’t say hi, nothing. It was if I wasn’t even there. I had to go over to the far side of the store, where there were no items on display(where the worker was) and get her attention. Even worse, there were hardly any selection of donuts or kolaches. There were maybe 5 types of donuts and 4 kinds of kolaches. When I got paid for them, the lady didn’t say thank you or have a nice day or even smile. When I ate them, they were cold and tasted like it was taken out of the refrigerator and put on display. At the very least, if they were cold, she could of offered to heat them up. The prices of the donuts/kolaches were about the same as that from Shipley’s Donuts. Not ever coming here again!

Fantastic glazed donuts. Very soft and and just loaded with sugary goodness. I’ve tried a few other varieties of their donuts, pastries, and breakfasty offerings but nothing compares to their glazed originals.

This is my favorite neighborhood shop to get kolaches! Even after Shipley’s Donuts and Kolache Factory both opened up within minutes of Best Donuts, I still find them the best. The bread is soft with a mild sweet taste, unlike many of the other places. I always get a dozen sausage, cheese and jalapeño kolaches from them whenever I’m in town.
