I had bought a piece of furniture and I had lost my reciept(as always). I lugged the item to the store to return it. I was told that I can get a refund via store gift card but they were out of cards so I was offered a exchange for another item at equal price. I explained to the associates that I was moving and really didn’t have the need for more merchandise. The nice female employee called a couple other Big Lot stores in the area to see if they had some extra cards. The employee found a store and actually drove there(30 min approx) to pick them up so I could have a store credit via card. This was a display of top notch customer service. The other employees also helped me bring the item in the store. Good Job everyone, much appreciated!

Came here looking for a dog bed for my puppy, Pocky. The store was fully stocked with other cheap goods. The dog beds were relatively priced expensive for what you get. TJ Maxx had cheaper beds for less. The toys were cheaper than what Walmart had and it looked like the quality was up to date. It’s big lots for crying out loud they usually have bargain deals on stuff that should be expensive like beds and furniture, so you can’t complain about that.

I love me a good bargain! Shopping runs in my family. Seriously, if we had a family crest made, it would have shopping bags on it and tags with clearance stickers. If you’re looking for name-brand items at ridiculously low prices, check out Big Lots. As the name implies, they buy«lots» of items that are either overstocks or closeouts. Sometimes you’ll find that product or item that you were sad to see being discontinued at a bigger chain, and sometimes you’ll see everyday items, but just marked down because the store bought too much of them. I love to bargain hunt, and Big Lots is a great place to do it. From laundry detergent to home goods, to pet supplies and food, to office supplies and arts/crafts supplies, Big Lots has LOTS to offer. They even sell clothes, shoes, and have a significant furniture section which includes name brand mattress sets! They offer a rewards card that keeps track of your purchases. I’m not sure what the rewards are, but I do know they have a friends and family sale every once in a while and you can save about 20% off your entire purchase. I’m not sure what the store used to be, but I’m guessing it was once a grocery store. I’ve been to several Big Lots and that seems like the norm. Sometimes it can get a little disorganized, but overall it’s a great place to shop if you’re trying to save money or you like to do a little digging. Again, it’s one of those places that’s never the same place twice, so if you see something you like, snatch it up before it’s gone, especially during the holidays. But, if you can wait for it, they do great markdown/clearance sales after all major holidays and you can score some great deals on décor, candy, and gift wrap.
