Why is that every time I go to a restaurant in the Pearland or Seabrook area, the hostess loves to sit me at a table near the restroom? I mean, do I have a port-a-potty scent to myself or what?! I don’t wanna sit near the restroom that has to be the most gross thing ever. The restroom. On a Saturday night, where there is hardly anybody in the restaurant just a three families and more than a bundle of tables and the hostess decides to sit me right next door to the restroom. that is not smart thinking. Ever so often, guess what I hear? The toilet flushing or the hand dryer. WOW, something I would love to hear while I’m dining. how special. Anywho, we didn’t asked to be moved as I would have liked. Our waiter, Rusty was outstanding. He was always attentive, courteous, friendly, loving to talk casually, and my dad absolutely adored him. The green sauce and red sauce, not at all salsa texture, was good for the moment. The chips OK tasting. The spicy chicken tortilla soup wasn’t at all spicy so don’t be fooled. The taste was delicious, but it didn’t have any tortilla chips in it. that was surprising. I ordered the wet burrito and it was big portion sized also tasty. However, it was just mediocre though. The burrito was just cheese and ground beef meat. Nothing special. It was always drowned in cheese, refried beans, and grease. I definitely wouldn’t order it again. The place had a lingering old carpet smell; it was quite gross to bear as I was eating. I nearly started to gag, I had to keep tricking my mind that they had air freshers throughout the restaurant… though they didn’t. Towards the end of our meal, the assistant manager Sarah decided to talk to my dad about Rusty and about how my parents love the restaurant. My dad kept on boasting about how I am a Unilocaler and such. she was a nice lady to speak to us. Another thing, if you are looking to locate Casa Olé, its just off of Broadway Dr/518. Next door to Regions bank and on the other side of the Texas Pride car wash. there’s enough parking. Nothing WOW’ed me, it seemed like typical Tex-Mex food lacking the authenticity that I was hoping for. They didn’t even have Spanish music playing all the time, it was mostly a mixture of Spanish and some pop, but not Spanish pop.

Horrrrrrrrrible!!! The drinks were the worst I’ve ever had. The one I got was straight tequila and the one my husband got had no tequila. only good thing was the chips and red sauce.

Their 2 for $ 18 is the best food buy ever! Their lettuce wraps are sweet and tangy, with plenty of crunch. Their chipotle pork taquitos are unique and always delicious. The kids beg for their chicken quesadillas. Great family joint.

Unusual take on Queso Flameado… theirs tastes like a version of velveta’s chili con Queso not like most Mex Restsurants’ versions. We’ll not order that at Casa Olé again.

Soooo disappointed :-(seriously?! Okay so where to start there was so much WRONG with this order. I called in a to-go order… I get the and had to wait no big deal. I drive 5 mins home and… Here we go. I ordered the Grilled chicken AND vegetable salad«a special blend of grilled zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, onions and bell peppers on top of mixed lettuce, sliced chicken breast, Pico and your choice of dressing» what I got was a box full of iceberg lettuce, 3 pieces of bell peppers 4 small chunks of raw carrots, and 4 small chunks of lightly steamed zucchini… Chicken was ok, and Pico.(See photos) My boyfriend ordered the Cobb salad. What he got was a bed full of ice burg lettuce some chunks of bacon(some raw) pieces of COLD flavorless over fried breading with a tiny sliver of chicken. Pictures attached. This is the second bad trip of 3 to this location and I can tell you I’m done overall disappointed in the quality of the food… Nothing close to what the menu said we were ordering.

I love this Casa Olé! Cheese enchiladas and fajitas are so good! And it’s not ridiculously over priced like Gringos which I also love

Mediocre at best. OK service(table after us got their food first from the same server). I had the Tacos al Carbon and they had little flavor. My spicy chicken tortilla soup had no spice and no tortilla. I prefer Gringo’s service and food quality.

Food is bland. I got the shredded pork tacos. The tacos were cold and the plate looked sad. The green sauce and red for chips are watered down. I just so happen to glance in the kitchen right when I saw a waiter LICKHISFINGERS while holding ice cream. And to top it off, I found a hair in the avocado plate. This place needs Robert Irvine from restaurant impossible!

I’ve been a loyal customer for at least 20 plus years but this was my first visit to the Pearland location. The service was great and the food was superb. I ordered one of my ‘usuals’(the Nachos Olé) and it was, by far, the best I’ve tasted. I was a bit peeved at the other locations b/c I felt a bit duped all these years. ;) Even the margarita was better. :)

I have been a super-loyal customer of Casa Olé for at least 25 years and I LOVE it! It’s good, fast and cheap. My fav menu items are chicken fajita nachos or the Taco Salad Grande w/fajita chicken. My husband and I went to the Pearland location today for lunch and I’m sad to say, it was gross. The menu actually smelled bad. It had green sauce or something spilled in it that hadn’t been wiped off. The whole menu was sticky and just grody, and smelled bad. So did the waitress who had horrible body odor. The restaurant was kind of dark and the tables were sticky. The whole experience was just dirty. I’ll stick with the Gulf Fwy location from now on…

If you are looking for a fairly light totally tex mex meal that’s tried and true, relatively cheap and leaves you mostly satisfied, this is the place. Great for families, clean, decently timed service and good for«to go» orders. No bar, but they do have margaretias! A little lacking on the«wow» factor, but never disappoints.

I like the green sauce. Other than that, it’s a typical chain place. Food is cheap course you get what you pay for most of the times. It’s just ok in my book.

I love Casa Olé. I’m reviewing the Pearland location, because that’s the most recent one I’ve been to. There used to be one in Lake Jackson, and I grew up there. Casa Olé was a regular place for my family. When I went back in December it was one of many places I took my fiancé to, just to say«See? THIS is Tex-Mex.» My aunt says it’s bad Tex-Mex, but I think it’s delicious. I’ve had so many things on the menu. I love the cheese enchiladas, the queso, the green sauce, the rice and beans, everything really… Portions are huge, prices are cheap. The ticket for 6 of us was $ 50 and I had tons of leftovers.
