did not feel welcome there, waited forever and left and I am not a picky person at all

I walked in without an idea of what to order and they made me a sample plate! Pretty much everything on the menu was on it and I made an informed decision on my order. The jerk chicken and oxtails were delicious!!! I liked everything on the plate and I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for your awesome service.

We ordered to pick up, it didn’t seem like it was fresh and the food was very bland and mediocre. Will not eat here again.

The owner is an awesome guy, the food was better than you can get in Orlando, I’d say even better than some of the higher-traffic spots in south Florida. Oxtail, curry potato, rotti, peas and rice, plantains all on point. Heard the jerk chicken is good as well. We also got to try doubles(our first time), they’re AMAZING! We got there in the evening and everything was excellent, highly recommended. Great food, big portions, fair prices +++

Decided to try this place since I saw a lot of items in the menu not available anywhere else in Houston. Got doubles for appetizer and bake and shark for entrée, while my friends decided to try the jerk chicken and oxtails. My food certainly lived up to what I imagined before I ordered — unique and tasted good. Portion is big for the price. As for my friends, they said that they’d tried better version of their food somewhere else. I’ll definitely go back to try some other island food that I haven’t seen offered in any other Carribean restaurants around Houston.

Saw it as Driving by on 518 I Ordered Curry Chicken. Service good when Ordering. Not Enthusiastic but Ok. Got Food and Everything Hot and Fresh. First Impression: The Meal: the Curry Chicken seem to have a Curry Power Look. Meat was Tender. Flavor Ok– The Meal Desperately NEEDED… a Curry Gravy Sauce. It was Lacking big time. Sorry it Cannot Beat Cool Runnings but it was OK.

My first time to eat here. Was quite a nice experience. The owner was VERY friendly. Even let me some sample some street food since it was my first visit. Very good. I had chicken curry with a roti wrap. I am a curry fan as I eat a lot of Thai and Indian. I enjoyed their twist on the Curry dish. I have a coworker who eats their that recommends the Jerk Chicken. Her family is from Trinidad originally. She recommended this place, but said the Jerk chicken was her favorite. I will try that next. Atmosphere is casual and friendly.

When it comes to amazing service, there is no beating this place! The food… it is perfectly Caribbean and TASTY! The doubles, beef patties, phlourie, well… I like so many things on the menu! I only give it 4 stars because the last time I went, I have to say my roti wrap was really dry. But I will definitely be back!

Fantastic! My family is Guyanese and this is the taste of home I’ve been missing ever since moving to TX. The owner is a sweetheart and from my own neck of the woods. The doubles are spot-on and the dhal puri(roti wraps) are out of this world. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to experience 110% authentic west-indian food.

I will put this out there at the very start. Along with Killen’s BBQ, Killen’s Steakhouse, Grazia, and BJ’s, D’Caribbean Curry Spot is one of the best restaurants in Pearland. I had never had food from Trinidad & Tobago before so I was excited for my first experience. This is a casual spot managed by two friendly owners. I went with the Jamaican jerk chicken with white rice and plantains. The large runs you a little over $ 10 but it’s enough for two meals. As you would expect, the chicken was a bit spicy but sweet and tangy at the same time. I loved the sauce, it really made the meal. The chicken was tender, the plantains just right, and the rice as good as rice can be. There was a long line so a takeout order took a little longer than I expected due to the lack of people working but I will definitely be back again to try something else new!

I tried the curry beef with some goti bread and I loved it. The sauces are pretty good even though I’m not a spice kind of guy. The person who owns it was pretty nice and let me try some chickpea spicy goti bread, which was awesome. Overall it kicked butt.

What comes to ur mind when you hear the name Moe? The 3 stooges of course. But this Moe is different. I went during my lunch hour for something different. And this is the place for different I found place on my zabihah app. The food is spivey and delicious. The portions are huge. I could only finish half of my lunch. Mir is very friendly and let me taste a double. Looking for different and have good appetite. This is a great place. But have some water ready for jerk sauce.

I had the potato roti. It was delicious. The only thing I would do different that I would just order the chick peas and potatoes with curry without the roti. It’s too much bread for me. The spices and flavor was great. The Curry Spot is next to my gym so I’ll be back for sure.

One of the best service I had in awhile! The owner was generous and welcoming and told us what’s good together and the peanut juice he makes is amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try the other drinks they had to offer. I got the jerk chicken and it was amazing and tender. The skin of the chicken has a lot of flavors. The owner recommend to try it with two sauce the oxtail and another sweet sauce. I personally liked the sweet sauce better. We also got the curry goat plate and it was bursting with flavors. Overall my first experience with Caribbean food went well. I would definitely come back.

The food is very… earthy. This was my first time eating Caribbean food so I didn’t really know what to expect. I had the oxtail entrée while my friend had the jerk chicken. He seemed to like his plate, and so did I. The owner was friendly and they even let us try this chickpea thing, which was actually rather tasty due to its spicy sauce(my roommate reheated it later that day and said it tasted even better, so protip.) The oxtail itself is not usually how I see it prepared. I mostly see it in soups where it’s fall off bone tender, but the oxtail cooked here is one step away from being completely tender and so it had more of a chewy texture to it. Not to the point where it was chewy itself though. In any case, the texture matched the texture of the rest of the solid ingredients, so no complaints there. What I meant by earthy earlier is sort of hard to describe. It probably was the sauce of the oxtail combined with the rice and beans that made me think that. Next time I’ll probably opt out of rice and beans and just get white rice. I’d like to try the other meats to see if the other things are earthy too. Now I’m not saying it tastes«gamey» like wild animals, it was just a different impact I got overall considering this was my first Caribbean dish. Nevertheless, the sauce itself had flavor and I still enjoyed the overall plate. Oxtail’s about $ 13 btw. 8/10, would come again.

I went here a few days ago to try it out and see if they stand up to the reviews they get. The owner is nice and from Jamaica. Held a great conversation. The food was ok. The jerk chicken was just ok and the cabbage, beans and rice were really dry. Seems as though they cook the cabbage in a pan instead of steaming it. I can tell this because of the burnt pieces I had throughout my cabbage. I’ve had way better Caribbean foods. Maybe I came at a bad time when the food wasn’t as fresh or something. But I will try them at a later date to see if it’s better.

I noticed D’Caribbean on Unilocal when I was looking for a dinner spot in Pearland, and I saw«Trinidadian» as the category. Hold up, what? Trinidadian? I’ve never seen that category on Unilocal before! How do you pronounce that? Tri-ni-DAD-ian? Or Tri-NI-da-DI-an? Is that even a word? Wait, isn’t that where Rihanna is from? Oh wait, no, she’s from Barbados. Anyway, we pull up, and it’s a small spot in a strip mall. It’s very humble, nothing fancy, but the food is BOMB. I tried the beef patty, doubles, and jerk chicken plate(rolled up as a burrito). Beef patty was piping hot and flaky. So flaky I would never invite it out anywhere. But I would eat it out. Because the inside was very flavorful and savory. I would eat that thing like groceries. Never had Doubles before, but basically it’s just two tortilla things with spicy bean paste in the middle. It was pretty good. Jerk chicken(which you can get on a plate, or rolled up in a tortilla with rice and beans) was amazing. It had kick, it was a little sweet, and the skin was a little crispy so you KNOW they just cooked it. Hell yeah. Prices are a little high($ 10 – 15 per entrée) but the food is good and unique enough in Houston that I’m willing to fork it over. And I’m pretty sure Rihanna would too.

One of my favorite trini spots in Houston. From Doubles, roti, curry goat and they have oxtail. The owners are super friendly and the food is awesome. Great portions and seasoned to perfection.

First time having Caribbean food. And it was awesome! Went with the curried goat roti and it was amazing! Full of flavor and piping hot! Had a taste of my friends jerk chicken and oxtail and they were pretty good as well. Definitely reccomend if you looking for something new and exciting *!

Doubles! You gotta love a place that give you doubles with slight pepper. This place does that and more. The restaurant seems family owned and warm With touches of friendliness. The prices are decent and this is a great addition to pearland. I ordered the chicken roti boneless which was a bit dry but with a lot of flavor. I loved the spiciness of the chicken. I will definitely be back when I visit Houston. I mean they have shark and bake. Yum
