PART2 of my Original review 7. THECOMPANYLIESANDTRIESTOBLAMEOTHERS. We reminded her of what she said and then she remembered, «Oh Yeah…» and than said, well, we aren’t closing tonight. NOCALL– NOSYMPATHY, and my wife is 7 months pregnant sitting in a car outside waiting to get into her new home. They claimed they«e-mailed» the file over, but the lender specifically receives fax to email transmissions, and furthermore, I was in touch with the lender while standing in front of the representative at the title company. She said she emailed it, the lender was refreshing the Inbox and said nothing has been sent through. As I was talking to the lender, I saw the lady quickly faxing papers, while standing in front of the fax machine, as if trying to block it. She then told me after I hung up that she confirmed it was sent. «CONFIRMEDITWASSENTAFTER I SAWHERFAXINGTHEMOVER». She also told me that the lender closes at 5 and there was nothing we could do. I reminded her that the lender stated they would be there until 7:00 pm our time, as they were in a different time zone. Cornered and trapped, she began to rant about time and processes, and how they are there late because of this. I reminded her that it was her JOB to do this, and this is what we paid her to have finished that day, and they didn’t finish it. She stood up and asked me to leave at that point because she was caught lying and had no other excuses. 8. The Real Estate Agent and the Lender were all as upset at them as we were, for the Lender had a team of 3 people waiting for paperwork from the title company and stayed late waiting for our files, that were only rec’d AFTER7:00 pm, where the bank in the other time zone,(EST), was NOW closed. 9. We needed up having to stay in a hotel, extend our U-Haul reservation, take an extra day off from work, and not get everything in our closing paperwork that we should have. 10. I had to call back for warranty paperwork that was left out of our closing file. The company does the job, slow and half ass, but they have: NOCUSTOMERSERVICE NOCOMPASSIONFOROTHERPEOPLE’S SCHEDULES NOCAREFORPUTTINGPEOPLEOUTINTHECOLD,(LITERALLY), AND TRYANDBLAMEOTHERSFORTHEIRTARDINESSINTHEIRENDOFTHEPROCESS. — Paperwork is not ordered on time — Calls are not picked up — Calls are not returned — Reminder emails to complete processes must be sent by the agents and buyers who are paying them to do the work –Above all COMPANYLIES and blames others to cover up their lack of professionalism We caught them in a lie, and only after we named out steps and hours of operation, and time frames did they step back and change their story. ****PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DONOTUSEFIRSTAMERICANTITLEFORYOURTITLENEEDS!!!**** Stewart Title closed my previous 2 houses and all went well on time and in order. This company made our home buying experience absolutely horrible. and it was ENTIRELYFIRSTAMERICANTITLE’S FAULT. Hope this made sense. Just trying to share our bad experience with this location to help others make an educated decision on who they want handling their financials and new home purchase, or sale.
