I have gotten my most recent shellac manicures and a pedicure from here and I really enjoyed the experience. They were fast, but didn’t cut corners, nor did I feel rushed. Wait time was very short and I love that they offer you a beverage as well. I live very close to this shop, so I’ll be going often! If only I could remember the nail techs’ names!

Nice Salon. Horrible Staff. I went in for a pedicure because I was short on time, I didn’t want anything fancy. The pressure to upgrade was ridiculous. She asked if I wanted my eyebrows done I said no… Because I don’t like nail salons touching my eye brows. She insulted my eyebrows and laughed. And had her co workers laughing at me. I won’t be going back.

First time visit and my last time. Very unprofessional. 4 ladies played tag team before I could get someone to finish my manicure. Seriously? Carol kept her word about taking care of my manicure but it took a minute. Not to put her on blast but SHE said there was a new owner (at least a year now) and things weren’t the same anymore. No joke?
Pedicure was magnificent. Or the free glass of wine helped me to relax. Perhaps both. Prices were comparable to most other nail spas in the area.
Observed one tech giving a man a pedicure with a 1 hand massage while holding her cell phone with the other. Duh?
That’s what I get for being lazy and not making the drive to PL Nails on Broadway.
Definitely won’t be a return customer to La Vie Nails. Not even for the free glass of wine. I’ll be back at PL Nails where I belong.

Julie runs a great shop. The salon is relaxing, very comfortable and professional and clean. They actually have great color selection… And of course you can get a glass of wine, too!

They usually have pretty decent customer service, but they only have about 5 polishes to choose from. It’s really odd they don’t have more colors to choose from.

I wanted to leave a good review for them from my first visit, but sadly they aren’t consistent. The first time I visited, I enjoyed my classic mani and pedi and the price was decent. Then I came back about a month later, had the same girl do my nails but she rushed through it all. Maybe because it was really busy when my friend and I walked in. They sat us right away and got started on me, but had my friend waiting til I was almost done before working on my friend’s nails.
The color on my nails are very uneven. Especially on the sides for the second coat. There are even some bubbles that showed up on my nails while it was drying because she painted so fast. She disappeared after giving me my check and I didn’t feel like bothering the other workers… so yeah. She had someone else finish painting my feet. Which, I’m grateful now because they look better than my fingernails.

Salon is clean
Staff is nice
Cost — well I thought was average… but…
Poor rating because they told me one price and overcharged me 30%.
Won’t be coming back since I can get equal or better service elsewhere.
Not impressed and due to overcharge they just lost 3 clients.
Customer service centers around setting the right expectations.

Here on a Sunday, writing a review while I get a pedicure. Prices are pretty good, comparing the area and other nail places. Clean new equipment, nice décor, ambiant music, drink service, comfy massage chairs… so far so good.
