Shadow Creek Spa & Nails

I used to come here for my eyebrows. Tammy used to do a wonderful job never had any issues with the wax until yesterday the lady’s name is Mary and she burned the hell out of my face. I was so upset I told her right away that she burned my cheek all she said was cold water cold water. I asked her why she put wax on my checks it was supposed to be on the lip!!! She obviously does not know what she’s doing. I’m never going there again. It was horrible and according to her she’s the one that does facials and wax now. I have a wedding to go to and have this big burned mark on my cheek, she peeled off my skin! This place is not what it used to be. Their good employees that knew what they were doing are gone.

I love this place, if you’re looking for super cheap this nail salon may not be what you’re looking for. Deluxe pedicure is always refreshing. Very sanitary which I am very picky about when it comes to choosing a nail salon. All in all I would definitely recommend!

If i had the option to give this place 0 stars… i would have. I had 5 people work on my nails…5 people. One lady even walked away and disappeared not telling me she was giving me to another lady to finish. I kept telling the first lady who started on my nails that i wanted them thin… she kept reassuring me that they would thin them out. The last lady came and finished my nails without thinning them out. I had to tell her and she said ohhh i didnt know you didnt get them thinned out yet. But of course she didnt…4 other people worked on my nails before her!!! Not to mention i originally asked for a specific style to be done on my nails and the lady put the wrong powder on my nails after i literally gave her the hand and said «I WANT THIS PLEASE» while pointing at the hand… then she wasnt doing the style the way it was on the nail so when i asked her about it she said «Oh you want it like this?» Ummm yes! Thats what i said several times while pointing at the hand! Sigh. Ridiculous. Then they had the nerve to ask me if i like everything…3 days later and im still upset at how rude they were and how they passed me around like a rag doll!

I’ve been going to this nail salon for years. love this place. I love the services. Nice atmosphere, price is very reasonable. I’ll never go anywhere else. I recommend this place to all my friends and relatives.

Used to be the only place I go but now as I sit here. I will not be coming back. Slowly and surely they have lost the wow factor.

Used to be a great place until new management took over earlier in 2013. Most of the staff also left when the prior manager, who was excellent left. Mary is very rude and doesn’t know regulars like Cody did. Always a wait now and subpar customer service. Very disappointed that after being customer for 5+ years, I’ll have to find a new salon.

I have been coming here for years, but have recently decided to try another place. While they are really good about getting you in without an appointment and keeping an existing appointment, I’m not too sure about the cleanliness factor. The tools my regular girl whipped out once were full of other’s cuticles– yuck.

–Great Spa Pedicure (yes, I upgraded, but I intended to and heard someone else say no and not get pushed and prodded) with Hot Stone Massage, OPI leg treatment, and little hibiscus flowers on my big toes!
–Working Chair with TWO mini desks. (One for purse, one for remote)
–Offered me drink and had visible wine cabinet
–Very sweet
–Pretty lights in spa water
–Had obvious repor with lady that walked in after me (good customer service and regular customers)
–Open on Sunday (isn’t that when we think of it… on the only day they’re closed) and Walk-​Ins Welcome
CONS:
–Hard to understand (but VERY sweet nail artist)
–Massage chair hit me a little high, and I didn’t want to ask because I’m not sure we would have understood each other.
–The name is a little silly.

This is my favorite place to get a pedicure! Consistently beautiful, relaxing and exceeding my expectations no matter who does it. I hate when you have to request a specific person to get quality service and you don’t have to do that here. I always opt for the Deluxe which includes the foot wrap, scrub and wax. Very clean, quiet, professional, peaceful nail spa. The first time I got my nails done here I wasn’t so impressed, but on my visit yesterday they were done perfectly (solar overlay on my natural nails). Overall, a very nice nail spa that I would recommend to anyone in the Pearland area.
