Long John Silver’s

I decided to come since my sister was dying of starvation. We pulled up and ordered from the broken mic and raggedy setup.
By the looks of it, the drive — thru area where you place your order was a makeshift microphone with wires hanging all out to the side. Like, doggon really? Who got that mad to strip it? I was thinking. After we placed our order the woman forgot to mention our amount. she forgot or she didn’t want to tell us?
Then we sat behind black vehicle which appeared to be sitting in the same spot since we first pulled up. We patiently sat for seconds. then minutes rolled around still sitting there in the same position. We both thought to ourselves. what in the bejesus is this person ordering. the whole menu!!!
H to motha joking knoll. y’all! The black vehicle was having a years to come conversation with the cashier. A gazillion years later.
I whipped our truck in reverse (cause I couldn’t go forward), put it in the gear to go and floored it. We left her order, food, and whatever else at Long Time coming Silvers.
We drove to Regions bank across the street and guess what after we checked out Regions y’all. The same. yes, same. black car was still in the drive-​thru sitting in same spot?! Lol, at the window with the same cashier?!
I looked at my sista and said, we would’ve been still sitting there if I didn’t make a move. Chhild I tell you, I used to eat Long Johns Silvers as a kid.
But this right here. makes me want to scratch my head. Now, it all makes sense why it the speaker looked that way.

this place is absolutely the worst. if i could give it less than a star, i would. terrible service — they closed the drivethru with customers still waiting in it and they were extremely unhelpful to customers in the restaurant. the staff didn’t answer customers’ questions and if they did, it was rudely. none of the 3 platters came with the sides i ordered. just horrible. if you value customer service, do not go here.

Wouldn’t even give this one star. Took forever in the drive thru. Dr Pepper was nasty and the food wasn’t good

Great, quick service and great food. Of course the food is going to be a bit greasy; it’s a fast food chain. It’s still amazing. They’re under new management, now, so the restaurant is running much better.

I love this food here. I get the combo of fish, chicken planks, fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. Always fresh and hot right out of the fryer. Great seafood.

This restaurant is gross!!! Dirty!!! And slow!!! Took over 30 mins to get the food and the grease the food was cook on taste like it hadn’t been changed in a month.

I would give this location a negative review if possible. The restaurant is older but it was dirty and two of the drink choices from the dispenser were «broken «. The batter was so thick that it over powers the fish, shrimp and chicken. The batter also had little flavor. Everything dripped with oil.

I have emailed corporate many times hoping they would look into the management of this LJS location. Lousy service. Items out of stock or need several minutes to prepare it. I have given up. Love LJS by this location is the worst!
