I have been a patient of Dr. Orsak for at least 10 years. I have found him to be a caring doctor who wants the best for his patients. Does he always say what I want him to say – no. But he always says what needs to be said. I highly recommend him and his staff. His nurses are outstanding and they also convey his positive attitude.

Let me be clear, I am only giving 1 star because ZERO is not an option. I will start by saying that the Medical Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, and NP student were above par. Dr. Orsak, on the other hand, deserves negative stars. I attended my husband’s appointment with him today and have never(in 13 years of working in medicine) been so appalled! He is rude, arrogant, and has no business having students follow him! I have seriously never seen anything like it. I felt so badly for the NP student after he yelled at her in front of us that I am considering calling her! He told my husband, and I quote, «You’re not going to lose weight. No one ever does. You can’t change who you are.» Wow! Looking back I should have said something to him in the office and let him know it is not okay to treat people the way he does. PLEASEDONOTSUBJECTYOURSELFTOTHISMAN! He will not get another dime from us!

This Dr. Has a horrible bedside manner. I’m an RN. Unfortunately, my father passed away on the day on my first appt with this jerk. i recieved the news of my fathers passing on my cell as I was walking into the Dr. s office. Naturally, I began crying. His staff was compassionate and comforting.dr. Orsak, not so much. His first response to me as he came into the eaxm room was, «you’re severly depressed, and its not because of your father dying!» I was confused. How can a man who just met me know anythinf about me other than the terrible news I had re ieved only minutes before he met me? He then started insisting I get on an anti depressant. I was very uncomfortable with his swift diagnosis. I told him I didn ‘t want to go on any medication. He then argued with me. i got the old” you’re a nurse, you should know better narrative. I gave up trying to explain. i just accepted the Rx. I decided right then and there, I would not come back. His nurse overheard this conversation. While she drew my blood, she basically expressed her dismay at his arguing with me. Needless to say, regardless of his close proximity to my home, I will find another Doctor.

While I cannot speak for this dr as a family practicioner — I cannot recommend him as a flight surgeon. I passed my near sighted test at 20⁄30 which the RN said was within tolerances, yet the first thing the Dr said when he stepped into the office was that I had failed the flight physical. I then pointed out that the nurse had said that it was to be done at 20⁄30 — he looked at the guidelines and presumably agreed with it since he made no more mention of it. Unprofessional and arrogant.
