I was nervous when I first came to this place, as it’s in a warehouse and has no air conditioning. What impressed me from the start is how warm and inviting everyone was. I was told about the various programs, asked what I had previously been doing, so they could make sure I was joining the right group. I started off in their Body Shop class, which is an introductory class to all things crossfit. I was forced outside my box the first night, by doing box jumps and attempting a handstand. They continued to challenge me physically and mentally. In June I «graduated» to regular crossfit classes and again, the trainers took their time with me, helping me figure out my one rep max. They were patient. They made sure I had good form. They always go over form before a workout to ensure no one gets hurt. The programming is amazing. One week you will be cursing under your breath because it’s all shoulder workouts. Another week the weights will be heavy and it will be all mental. The programming will always challenge you and strive to make you a better athlete. The people who go here are tremendously nice. They are truly a family and I wouldn’t workout with anyone else. If you are looking for a place to workout, regardless of your activity level, I highly recommend Pearland Crossfit.
