Pizza Hut

I remember as a kid dining in at Pizza Hut. Cici’s is just straight up gross now and not edible at all. When I found out there was a Pizza Hut in Pearland that had a dining room and even had a pizza lunch buffet, I had to go check it out. I met up my buddy who also loves pizza and came here. Pizza Hut is one of my favorite pizza chains. Sometimes I don’t feel like driving into Houston to get real pizza, so one of the chains just has to satisfy my pizza craving. The pizza on the buffet line is like anything you would order to take home. Not a huge selection, but I found the variety was doable. The pizza was hot and fresh. They also have breadsticks and pasta. Like I said, it was just a childhood memory that I wanted to relive. Had it and i can’t say that I’ll be back frequently, but it’s good to know it’s a good lunch time option from my regular places.

You would think that with very few people at the restaurant that the service would be good. I was sat down and waited 20 minutes until I decided I couldn’t wait any longer. I watched servers sit around and do nothing while I patiently waited at my table.

This location apparently don’t have servers. Came in sat down for 15 minutes and no one came up to our table or the one by us. We got up to leave and saw one clocking in but went to a group and started chatting with them… Not a good experience.

This was the first time my fiancée and I had been to this location. We had heard that they do karaōke on Wednesdays so we decided to check it out. Suffice to say, we will never go back again. If we choose to get Pizza Hut, we’ll just get it delivered. It’s cheaper that way and we don’t have to put up with crappy service. Aside from the food, the music from the karaōke was way too loud rendering any kind of dinner conversation impossible and gave us both a headache. Also when we walked in, we told the hostess we wanted to sit in the bar section and she had to check with the bartender to see if it was ok. She came back and said he’ll serve us but made it sound like it was some big chore that he’d have to serve two more people. I was a hair away from sarcastically retorting «Well as long as he doesn’t hurt himself.» We ordered a pitcher of beer and the bartender poured them for us. I dont know where he went to bartending school, but he must have been absent on «beer pouring» day because those glasses had a lot of foam on top. Now on to the food, we ordered a simple pizza and spinach/​artichoke dip. I don’t understand how they forget to put the crust flavoring on but they’ve done it several times. Thank goodness it’s not an extra charge. We got the pizza first and I had to go to the bar and ask about the dip — which was supposed to be an *appetizer* and the bartender/​server was like «Oh it hasn’t come out??» In my head, I was like «No, you idiot; you would know since you’re serving the food!» Then when we got it, it wasn’t spinach/​artichoke dip at all. What they’re passing off as that is nothing more than alfredo sauce with pieces of spinach thrown in. It’s like getting a spinach alfredo pizza but without the crust. And that frickin’ dip was $ 6! We’ve had much better spinach/​artichoke dip other places for less than that. You can buy it from the grocer’s freezer and get better quality. We found ourselves eating fast just to get out of there. If you’re looking for good pizza, good service, and a place to have a conversation over dinner, steer clear of this place.

Horrible, horrible, horrible.
We ordered a pizza for carry out because we figured it’s Labor Day so delivery will be a bad idea.
We received the email that told us our pizza would be ready by 3:59 it is 4:30 right now and we are still waiting for our food to be ready!
Seriously? Why give a time and have us wait for over 30 minutes !!!

Of all the Pizza Huts in the area, this one is our preferred store. Our orders have always been made correctly, on time, and hot.
We had the buffet once and had an OK experience. They had a hard time keeping up with the demand. We do not typically eat buffets, so I don’t know if this is what usually happens.

This location is HORRIBLE!!!
After a long day out, i ordered 1 pizza. (1 freaking pizza!!!) I ordered online and got a waiting time of 2 hours. (crazy, but I had stuff to do around the house, so figured it would be ok.) I saw that the pizza wouldn’t be delivered until 12:30 am… and realized that they closed at 12 am. I called them and asked if this was ok since they closed earlier.
The girl who answered the phone said they closed at 2 AM, SO NOT TO WORRY!!!
At 1 am I called, was directed to another pizza hut and spoke to the manager who told me that that particular pizza hut indeed close at 12 am and they would not deliver my pizza. He was VERY nice, refunded my order and gave me a credit for a future order. It is not his problem that his employee’s at another store are liars and could not tell me the truth.
Had they told me right off the bat that there was too many orders and mine would not be able to be delivered, or they closed before the deliver time… I would have made other arrangements for dinner. I was busy moving into my house and unpacking boxes to care of the time. But to not even notify me that my dinner would never arrive was VERY upsetting.
I cannot believe that a store would accept your money, lie about their time of closing WHEN YOU CALL WITH A CONCERN, and never notify you really bothers me. I love pizza hut. Their pizzas are without question great, its their service at this particular location that I cannot let go. The very nice manager at the other location I was transferred to refunded my money… but I am very bothered by this incident. I will no longer order from pizza hut or any of their locations due to this very incident. I would rather pay $ 5 for a little cedars pizza that tastes great and DRIVE there than have a 2.5 hour waiting period and never receive my pizza or a notice!
I hope their service improves a great deal… because this really sucks!!!

Horrible! I am giving them one star because they don’t let you give 0 stars… The pizza is not BAD, but their delivery time is always horrible and that’s IF they even deliver your pizza at all. I placed an order last night and received a confirmation email saying my order was placed and would be delivered at 1:57 AM! WHAT?! I placed my order at 11:50… it does not take 2 hours for pizza, specially when they are right down the street but whatever i waited. and waited… and waited. My pizza NEVER arrived. Im glad i was paying with cash for once and not with the card like we always do, i would of really been upset. This location really needs to step their game up.

This place sucks!!! If you order a pizza from here for delivery expect over two hours for delivery. You can call and complain and you’ll get someone that could give a damn about customer service or better yet even able to answer your questions! Go with another pizza place in the area! Wish I could give zero stars!!!

Cant’ get parmesan cheese or red pepper for take out pizza without being charged extra. Not one single cheese or pepper is given with an order of pizza no matter how big a pizza order is made. Eighty-​nine cents per package of cheese and pepper.

Ordered the big box yesterday online.
Delivered on time, but they didn’t put the crust and sauce like we ordered. Really ruined the mood for stomachs. –_–

Since this Pizza Hut location was turned into a restaurant, we decided to try it out.
As soon as you walk in, the smell of pizza fills the air. Its great. I love it. ^_​^
The atmosphere is nice and spacious, with tables on the floor and booths along with a bar area in the next room, complete with the bar area and pool tables. Speaking of the bar, I do think they have drink specials throughout the week and weekends. Make sure you check those out.
The pizza is still the same here only now that you’re here eating it, when the pizza gets to you, its nice and hot. The menu is complete with appetizers and pizzas and even sandwiches to boot. I haven’t tried the sandwiches but they do look good from the pictures on the menu. Oh, and desserts are there too, but again, I haven’t tried those out yet.
For the few times I’ve been there, we’ve had great service. The waiters promptly get you your drinks and the pizzas are always great; We always order the stuffed crust and like I mentioned before, since you’re eating it here in the restaurant, the pizza is nice and hot when it comes to your table.
Mmmmm… warm gooey cheese. :)
So, if you feel like going out for pizza for dinner tonight, give this Pizza Hut restaurant a try, but be warned. Because it is a pizza place, chances are that they will be pretty busy on Fridays and the weekends. So your best bet is to come sometime during the week or for lunch anytime. On the times I’ve gone, we’ve gone during lunch or early dinner time and the restaurant is pretty empty.

Get the Quepappas, they’re like tator tots on steroids. This place is a throw-​back to the 80’s Pizza Huts complete with video games and even a bar now for those of us who grew up in the 80’s. 4 stars not because the pizza is so great but because the atmosphere is awesome. About time they brought these pizza places back.

Personally I always thought Pizza Hut was average, maybe a bit above average. But this location has made an impression on me. First of all the pizza is pretty good, and their toppings are definitely above average. Especially the Jalapenos. But last night I ordered their Big box dinner with the two pizza’s and bread sticks and pizza rolls, but then I had it delivered. I hate waiting so I always pick it up, but i gave them this one chance. They were ten minutes earlier than they said they would be. I assume this type of thing depends on the location, but this one seems to do well with delivery. Also they are in the process of expanding their location from a small take out place to opening an actual restaurant. A Pizza Hut you can actually eat at… with beer!
