Papa John’s Pizza

On 2÷8÷16 I ordered 2 pizzas online from Papa John’s located at 3405 Broadway St. in Pearland. One pizza was «The Works» and the other one was cheese/​pineapple (extra cheese). «The Works» pizza was very dry, hardly no sauce on it and the different meats and veggies were very sparse. The cheese/​pineapple pizza was also dry and only had a few pieces of pineapple and certainly didn’t have extra cheese. We ended up throwing most of these pizzas in the trash. I definitely won’t order from them again.

I went to Papa John’s in Pearland near Silverlake. After seeing the TV ads and all the hype, I decided to see for myself. Needless to say, I was disappointed. The crust was too thick and the sauce was bland and the toppings were middle of the road. I love a good pizza. In fact, I’ve been here 5 years and during my first few years here, I would fly back to Berkeley CA and bring home a Zachery’s Pizza or one from Round Table every other month. I had free flight benefits and it was worth the extra trouble. I have found a great pizzeria here in Pearland, but though I would diversify and have another pizzeria to choose from. HEB pizzas are better than this Papa John’s. Sorry, but it’s the truth.

The pearland papa johns manager is moronic twit. The place seems to always be dirty and I saw the manager using her hands with out washing them first after taking money from another customer. GROSS!

I love this place. I live and work in the area, so this Papa John’s is my go-​to pizza place. Last week my daughter and I decided we wanted to try something «different», so we ordered from the near by Pizza Slut. That was a huge mistake. We got something different all right. Way different! I would describe it in detail only someone scanning over this review might think I was talking badly about Papa John’s and I don’t want there to be any confusion. I love Papa John’s and I have learned my lesson. Why would I want anything different? With our Papa John’s you get… fast delivery, super friendly, professional delivery staff, fresh Hot Pizza, prepared exactly as ordered, consistent service, coupons to save money, and a tummy full of happiness. The next time I want something different, I’ll just order a different sauce.

Their hawaiian bbq pizza is DELICIOUS. Unlike most pizza shops, the toppings don’t fall off AND it comes with garlic sauce! What hits the spot is their cinnapie. It has the right amount of cinnamon and icing unlike pizza huts. What makes it even better is the cute little asian boy that delivers the pizza. He makes it worth the less than 30 minute wait and calories ;] ask for VAN if you’re in need for that late night pizza fixin’ if ya know what I mean ;]
