I went online 9÷22÷2015 to search for PT in Pearland and found this place. Good reviews and strong web site. As I was on their site I was able to «chat» with one of their folks online… gave my information and was told«someone would get in touch with me to set appointment». As of today 9÷28÷2015 at 8:25AM no one contacted me. I did another search and found Houston Methodist Sports Therapy… called and set my appointment quick and easy. Good luck with these folks at ProActive. Lack of follow up cost them a customer.

This has to do with my insurance and billing. Originally, we talked about my insurance which I have a HIGH5500 deductable and also cash pay. Knowing I would not near meet the deductable. So I guess there was a misunderstanding or misrepresntation about what I was paying. I went to PT3 times a week the first month and then 2 times a week the second month. They never sent any statement for almost 3 months until after I quit going. I didn’t expect one due to the fact I was paying no insurance cash which I was quoted except 100 for evaluations. The first statement I received was for 2 of the most recent visits. Which I didn’t understand why they billed backwards. I trusted that they called my insurance and they accepted ALL Aetna plans. But come to find out, they are out of network on my plan. Being out of network to me means they are NOT on my plan b/c why would you pay much more when you could go to another in network and pay much less. I feel deceived b/c if I had received any statements from the begining, I would have realized that they were out of network for my plan and I will now be responsible for a higher percentage of 50% or more and after going as many as 20 visits and already paid 78 per visit, I will be paying a large bill. The first month I actually owed 600+ b/c of out of network charges and looks like other charges added that I need to make since of. I feel like they didn’t send statements so I would keep going unaware of the mega charges building. If I had known, I would have immediately gone to another facility that was IN my network and paid much less. Very deceiving. I wish we could have had a better mutual understanding of the charges.

I have been to ProActive twice due to neck surgeries I have had. Everyone there is wonderful! They are all friendly and helpful, and they really made me enjoy my time there. I actually looked forward to going to PT every week, because they created such a great environment to be in. It never seemed like I was there for treatement, but more just hanging out with friends. I do not have 1 negative thing to say about any one person that works there, they are all great people and I feel lucky to have had the chance to work with them. They helped me get back to normal after surgery, and helped me get back to feeling well, and for that I am truly grateful.

My daughter had a neck injury resulting from an accident playing sports. ProActive’s staff(Amy and Kevin) was able to get her immediate relief after one treatment. After two weeks of therapy my daughter returned to high-level play on her travel team. We should have asked our doctor for different help(other than meds) a long time ago. When we asked, he said«PT might help». Well, it did and we wished he’d been faster at ordering treatment. We would highly recommend ProActive to get your athlete back in great form.
