Rosemary’s Cakes and Cookies

This place has gone down hill !!! I have ordered 2 cakes from her in the past (was her first customer) and thought she had good prices. Today I go in and the place smell so bad and the gentelman who is working informes me that a very small cake with buttercream icing will cost me $ 60!!! I will not be going back there EVER!!!

I will not be returning. I have ordered from here at least four times before for baby shower specialty orders, wedding showers, and birthdays. They have been able to customize my order for me at a reasonable price however just last week they completely forgot about my order for my 2year olds birthday party! I showed up at 9:15 as I told them I would for the party at 11 and all lights were off and the closed sign on the door even though they open at 9 on Saturdays. After calling twice, finally the same person who took my original order answered the phone 45 min before my party and confirmed he remembered taking my order but did not have my cupcakes or mini cake for my party. They misplaced the order. Very disappointed as no other consolation was offered. I will not be returning.

My husband and I were scouting the cake places in pearland for my son’s birthday. The store is nice and they have plenty of choices. But, the receptionist was not friendly and did not seem accommodating. We had questions but she was the type that just wanted to answer questions with a yes or a no. We were the only buyers there. For a business that does not have a lot of customers, they have to do better with their customer service. We ended up having our cake done by a lady in Walmart. It was a customized cake. and the walmart lady was way more friendly! (u rarely see that in walmart)

Great cakes. Ordered here before, but few selections on birthday cake decorating. Got their prices; pretty set forward, but was informed by person at the front their prices will go up after Feb. 1^st. Not too happy about that.

So I’ve been calling this bakery since Tuesday… No answer not even an answering machine to place your order. So now it’s Thursday and I drive a 30 min drive to actually place my order. The lady who helps me confirms the number is correct and does not have a reason why they don’t answer phone calls. So i explain I need a cake for tomorrow (Friday) she shakes her head and says we can not do that. All she can do is get a cake and add icing. If I wanted that I could have gone to SAMs and saved a 30 min drive. She also informed me that they are not even taking orders anymore… So please if you even think about going to this place don’t do it save your money and time!

Got an apple pie here around Thanksgiving. I was thinking that the apple pie would be fresh since it is a bakery. However, to my disappointment, it was very cold, definitely not fresh. The pie itself was okay, nothing special. It is probably a little better than a grocery store like Wal-Mart’s or Kroger’s but more expensive.

New bakery in town! I ordered two cakes form them. One was a disney cars theme cupcake cake and other was cupcakes and 6′ topper for a princess tower. I did not give too much detail on how I wanted them to look and was very pleased with how much they designed the cakes. They really impressed me. And yes the price is unbeatable and I am one who believes paying for quality but I really feel I found a true treat here. Everyone loved the rich and moist cakes/​cupcakes. Especially the marble and vanilla. Buttercream was perfect. No compliants. I’ve also tried their cake balls, not bad and sugar cookies were excellent. I paid about $ 60 for TWO cakes/​cupakes (32 cupcakes) and would normally pay alot more elsewhere in pearland/​friendswood area. Give them a try! Im about to order another cake now!
