The Woman’s Place – Pearland

Wow! I’ve been a patient of The Woman’s Place for many years, but this is my first time at the satellite office in Pearland.
I was seen immediately– well before my scheduled appointment. My radiologist was friendly, and best of all, did not hurt me during my mammogram!
Everyone here is friendly and the service is fantastic. I will be back!

Close to Pearland area. Insane wait even with appt. desk clerk unfriendly, but doctor is great. No play area for children; but the see children.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Davis for several years now and she delivered my son about 2 years ago. She’s absolutely the best– very down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable and timely. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Davis isn’t what I thought she was. She super failed me. I came here because I had an infection and needed some medicine to cure the problem. The visit was all well until I took the medication. With her being a doctor she should have been more alert that I was a young adult and couldn’t take a high dose of medicine. She gave me 500mg of Flagyl and I took that as the directions told me too. That medicine gave me the worst allergic reaction. All of the side effects that is under that medication I went through. When my mental state changed I called her office to let her know that I was having complications with the medicine and she put in a lower dosage to my pharmacy. I called my pharmacy and then was told that the medicine was never called in by the doctor.
The doctor was careless and pregnant. She should have been more aware because after all that I had went through I had to be rushed to the emergency room and stayed there for 6 days. Then after that I still couldn’t get my mind back to normal. I had to be rushed to another hospital and stayed there for 15 days. Horrible. I will never come here again, I will just have to find me another and BETTER DOCTOR!
After all the hospital visits, I had to drop all my classes from college and quit my job.
She nearly killed me and with that medicine. But thank God, I pulled through! Beware of this doctor, or enter at your own risk! I am a living testimony! She may be nice, but there’s always a price you have to pay with niceness. I paid that price!

Another new year. Another new city. Another BC prescription that needed refilling by visiting a new OB-​GYN I know nothing about. Ugh, finding a new OB-​GYN — probably one of the most underrated female fears of moving.
Having visited Houston Women’s Care Associates in the Med Center for my well-​woman exam last year, I was pleased to find out that The Woman’s Place here in Pearland was one of their partnering offices. Scheduling an appointment was easy: the receptionist returned my call promptly, she was very friendly and pleasant to talk to, and I was able to schedule an appointment two days later w/​Dr. Morgan. Their office is located in a small plaza on Broadway/​518 near 288, devoid of insane traffic or parking fees like their main office in the Med Center. If you’re a new patient, arrive early because of paperwork… paperwork that contains basically the same information you provide to the receptionist when setting up your appointment. Weird.
The office is nice and cozy; big waiting area and such. However, after being spoiled at the main location, where the examination rooms have plush pillows, chairs, changing curtains, and other little goodies, the rooms here are more… traditional. Nothing fancy. Nothing extra. Dr. Morgan is very sweet and has great bedside manner, but my visit felt very quick. Again, perhaps I’m spoiled by my experience @ the HQ, where my OB-​GYN took the time to talk to me in her office before bringing me to an exam room and getting down to business. I have no major qualms about The Woman’s Place — I mean, Dr. Morgan told me right away that everything felt normal, and I got my BC refilled — but it was definitely one of my more impersonal visits.

Dr. Davis has been my OB-​GYN since I moved to Pearland in 2007 and I absolutely love her! She is very personable, easy-​going and has a great sense of humor, as well as a great bedside manner. She really takes the time to get to know you and you truly feel cared about as her patient. She delivered our first baby in August 2013 and was just as supportive and awesome as I would expect. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
I have also seen Dr. Morgan several times and she is very friendly as well!

Dr. Lesley Davis is amazing. This was my first gynecologist appointment ever and she made me feel very comfortable. She has great bedside manner and is very professional yet easy going. I highly recommend going to her.

This review is for Dr. Lesley Davis — she is awesome! Of course we are all uncomfortable going to the gynecologist. When I first went into the office, the staff was nice and made the paperwork and copying of insurance cards and everything really easy for me. After coming from the horribly long-​waiting and apathetic customer service of years of Planned Parenthood visits, this was definitely a couple steps up in the treatment of patients. The office is fine, although I would prefer a dimmer office to make me more comfortable, but I understand why it needs to be bright. This office has big windows that let lots of light in. The nurse took me back after about 10 minutes of waiting after filling out my paperwork, took weight, etc. Very soon, the doctor was in, Lesley Davis. She is young and nice. She took lots of time to chat with me about my life and any concerns I was having. She made the exam very easy for me by talking through everything and keeping the chatting up throughout the exam. Mostly, I was glad to have a woman do the examination. I recommend Lesley very highly.
