I’ve used this Walgreens for many years and the service lately is unbelievably bad. I just waited 45 minutes to pickup my prescription for the 2^nd time in 2 months. The 2^nd drive thru lane has been out of order for months now. I’m done and moving my business someplace where service matters.

I have used this in store clinic several times and usually have had a good experience with the nurse practitioners. Today, however, was absolutely horrible. I took my daughter in because she had a fever of 102 and is complaining of a sore throat and cough. The nurse did one test for one kind of strep. Since it came back negative, he refused to give any antibiotics. I understand that it could be either viral or bacterial at this point, and that if it is viral the antibiotics would not work. However, there are many bacterial infections she could have that it would work on. He couldn’t test for those. He only offered a second strep test that would take 2 days to get the results. His advice was to wait a few days and see if she gets worse and then we would know if it is bacterial. Really? Let’s see how sick you get before we treat you? My daughter is in advanced classes in high school and has a singing competition in two days. She shouldn’t have to wait to get treated. She should have the opportunity to get better as soon as possible. Isn’t that why a doctor’s practices medicine in the first place? Every doctor I have ever been to or my children have ever been to has always erred on the side of caution and given antibiotics. So I got my child out of bed, wasted an hour and a significant amount of money for absolutely no treatment whatsoever. I have never been treated so poorly or with such terrible bedside manner by any medical professional ever. He was rude, insensitive and absolutely no help at all. He cost you a loyal customer today.

I just quickly needed to buy an air freshener, and what a convenient way to stop here. When I tried checking out, the prices didn’t match as to what I had seen. I told her I’d go get another one quickly since I was the only one in line and she voided my whole transaction and when I came back she had left. Should’ve taken my ass to Kroger’s instead.

Mid convo the pharmacist went to help someone else. Are you flipping kidding me? After I’ve been here twice to get my script and you said you would help and all you got was another script for twice the amount? This place is an absolute JOKE. No customer service or desire to help at all. Bye Felicia.

My son had a prescription for a strong cough medicine that we got from here. First of all the doctor called it in around 10am. My husband called them around 4 asking if it was available and they claim that they did not receive it. They then told my husband to call the doctor. He did and the doctor got upset because he already sent it a long time ago. When we finally got the medication, the instructions in the bottle said that my son should take it continuously for 14 days. I’m a nurse so I know that medication should only be taken as needed. And NOT continuously x 2 weeks! And this is for a 3 yr old! A few months ago too they mixed my son’s amoxicillin suspension thus making him overdose on the medication. I was so mad. That should have made us just go somewhere else. And when you talk to the pharmacy staff they are so condescending. There is only one asian girl that is friendly in the pharmacy. The rest of them think act like they are gods.
The pharmacy department on this locaton does not even deserve a single star. The only reason I’m.giving walgreens one star is because the rest of the other departments are better. Staff-​wise. They are willing to help when you need it.

Went today go the Take Care Clinic because my son’s pediatrician could not get him in. The wait was an hour with only one person in front of us. The PA was extremely rude to me because of my son’s anxiety about a strep test. She did not seem very knowledgeable and spoke to me very disrespectful. I realize a nine year old should be cooperative with a strep test but he was really feeling ill. I can not hold a 70 lb kid down. She was rude to him and me. She said I should have told her about his anxiety before «or I wouldn’t have put the kid through this.» I did tell her that he is never cooperative. She spoke down to me and made me feel like a subpar parent. This is not the person who is regularly here though. She did say that she usually works in Houston that’s why she doesn’t know where things are in the 8×8 clinic space she is given. I will not be going back to Walgreens if this is the professionals that they hire.

Yesterday, I dropped off a very common medication RX (2^nd most common prescribed Brand name medication) at the drive-​thru. I was told that it would be ready in an hour. A few HOURS later, I went back. This time, I was told that they had to order the medication. I asked when it would be in. This time, I was told that it would be in the next day after 1:00. So, today, my husband went by to pick up my RX at 3:30 and they said that they have to order it. WHAT??? The lead pharmacist decided to go ahead and transfer my RX to another location without even asking. While my husband was there, another patient was frustrated as she waited on her RX. She was told that they did fill it but were unable to find it. The Pearland Cullen Walgreens Pharmacy is completely disorganized, offers poor service, lacks reliability — just an overall disappointment.
On the other hand, Dustin, the STORE manager, was very professional and helpful.

Tried calling their pharmacy and they would hang up on purpose. Multiple times. Smh. That’s so stupid because I really needed to pick up medicine.

i frequent this location in a pinch (CVS is my fave). the staff is usually pretty helpful. tonight i found some staple items i needed for my dinner without having to make a last minute run to the grocery store. i appreciate you walgreens!
