Sweet!!! Sweet!!! Sweet!!! So, the folks invited me down for the weekend, and they happen to live in PB. This was also the first time I was around for this event. The whole event lasts about one week, but the MAIN event is on Sunday. Friday I arrived and strolled along different automakers for what they had on display, and also which car companies where going to be doing test drives. It was quite a site to see. Since I didn’t have my drivers liscence with me on hand Friday. I walked back over on Saturday. Saturday was test drive day. I first test drove a Kia high end sedan which is about $ 50,000. It was a pretty solid car, didn’t go to far in that car. Then I meandered over to Tesla which really impressed me a whole lot. I test drove the Tesla, and this car is about $ 70,000. Fortunately a longer drive in that car. Then I strolled over to the Cadillac area. The Cadilac that I drove was a prototype, so I had someone from GM accompany me for that drive. Not sure how much that car is going for though. Sunday, I figured I’d spent quite a bit of time walking around already, so I decided to just stroll and check out some amazing concept cars, and some classic cars, along with some Ferrari’s, I wouldn’t be able to tell you which car won best in show, I just did the FREE stuff, because I’m so cheap!!!

So excited! Each year the best of the best! Who will win the grand prize??? Only time will tell! Forget the traffic and crowds; this week is about truffles, not trifling! The anticipation of all that glitters and rolls… very excited to see the new Rolls! With the finest of everything we’ve come to expect. It’s always fun to see spectators and those who’ve brought their best be at their best. If the weather behaves… Concours ought to be resplendent. Honk! Honk! Let the classic cars roll in. And let the high end performance gems stun and amaze until we’ve all had our full. And DP ’96 if someone wants to impress. Crystal is too pedestrian for this week’s event. Hooray!
